Dear Yeshu,

First, congratulate for reaching out to us in your very early love stage. This is what smart people do. Unfortunately, most youths come to us after 2-10 years into relationship.

On “I love him a lot” that we understand, but don’t loose your rational thinking power because love will make you blind.

On “I for our future I know its too early to make future decision”, we absolutely disagree. This is THE TIME to make critical decisions, not 3 years later.

This is superb, “loves me the way I am.” That is the way it should be. We always say, let Rose be Rose and Carnation be Carnation. You are a Hindu; does it mean he wishes to see you as a “Hindu” till your last day on this earth?

This statement is of concern, “will not force me to convert”. Most Muslims and Christians believe not to “force” someone to convert, but they “entice” you to convert. They proselytize and in the end if you don’t agree to convert, they simply dump you. After years into relationship and with a clear threat of loosing the lover, finally a Hindu (unwillingly) converts.

On your question, “should I believe him?”, the main issue is his ignorance. He may be 100% honest and truly loves you at this point. However, he may not know his religion, he may have underestimated his parents and probably not aware of what his church priest will impose on you for your marriage.

Answer to your question, “what should I do”, is to educate yourself and then to him.

Ask him these questions and we will discuss more later:
1) Lets assume both sets of parents agreed to your marriage(s), tell us how will you marry? Is he ready to be a part of a Hindu vivaha? Do you have to have a church wedding? Are you considering a Special Marriage Act 1954?
2) Do your children have to be baptized? To find truth, just adamantly tell him (even you don’t understand all these) that I will not let my children have any religious label and will educate them with BOTH faiths. Our child will decide their faith as an adult (like Obama did).
3) What ever is his answer on #1 and #2, tell him to go confirm with his parents. Later, you also meet his parents to confirm it.
4) Ask him if is he religious? Ask him if is he a true Christian? Ask him if he believes in the original sin? Does he believe all Hindus are sinners (because not baptized)? Does he believe in the Judgment Day?
5) Ask him if has he read the Bible? Ask him about these verses in the Bible that any Hindu in relationship with a Christian should focus on.

Before you go blind in your love, please get us these answers. Lets talk more. Thanks.

The fact where you are wrong is being baptized doesn’t bring salvation to you. God doesn’t need a bath in the water to know that you love him. Baptism is a act where in you go into the water the old inner man dies and new man in Yahshua Messiah(Jesus Christ) comes out of the water. As a matter of fact, according to the bible No believer should marry a nonbeliever at any cost. Because there will be problems. God himself knows so. But what i believe is that if you both truly love then God himself should will to make u live together. I condemn the Admin of saying that only by baptism you will be found worthy at Judgement day. This is a foolish saying by those who really haven’t read the Bible properly. There is a coming back of the Christ and there will a thousand year rule by him when all will be educated of the truth and then Judgement day happens. Have I made it clear now???

Thanks for educating us. On “No believer should marry a nonbeliever at any cost,” are Hindus believer in God?

Do you think this Yeshu, a Hindu, carries original sin? How about Mahatma Gandhi?

Have you read Koran? Why it says believing Jesus as a Son of God is a monstrous falsehood. Is Koran or Bible telling us truth? All these books are confusing!
