Salam,
Shamim here i m in difficult situation. My boyfriend is a hindu. My parents dont like he talking to me. Actually its high time and they are forcing me to marry a guy in my area, javed. I’m crying day and night. I just want to marry Rahul and spend 
my life with him. But no one from my family is supporting me for marriage with him, due to his religion, i dont want him to change. My dad has given me warning to stop seeing Rahul. Its 1 week that i saw him, i cant think anything else now. I m educated, i love my parents, but I cant stand their torture anymore for marriage to javed, i will run away or die one day, i dont know. Rahul is earning. His family is nice and he will take care of me. What should i do? i have very less time, i dont want to leave him.

Shamim. no one should ask you to leave your parents. On the other hand, if you are an educated adult, no one should be able to force you to marry anyone.
What about the boys parents? Will they help you and support you?

Shamim, You are in a very difficult situation. As you know, in Islam, rules are very strict for girls vs. for boys.
You may be wondering why people (or God?) created all these religions making young people’s life difficult? Why one God is more important than the other God? Why humanity is a low priority but what is written in some books thousands of years before is more important? Why we cannot take the best from two religious scriptures and enjoy the interfaith married life with equality? Why the person you marry to is of less importance than the religion of that person? …..well, these are all theoretical questions and today you will have to deal with practicality.
You may be hoping that you will have your Hindu-Muslim marriage with equality like Salman, Seema and Shah Rukh Khan. However, for that, you (or your bf) have to be financially independent and/or your parents have to have courage to go against the Islamic dogma.
You have made a very rational point by saying, “i don’t want him to change (his religion).” However, in faith there is less rationality and more belief system imposed on us. Unfortunately, religious conversion of a Hindu is the only option the Koran?, most Muslims and probably your parents will recommend you (a Muslim girl) to take. It is possible that they may ask you to tell Rahul to take Shahadah oaths and convert to Islam, change his Rahul name to an Arabic name, have a circumcision, ask him not to pray anymore to his Hindu gods but to Allah only, not visit his Hindu temples any more but only to Mosques, slowly get away from his parents and mingle more with Muslims, raise children with Islamic teachings only and ultimately he has to become a true Muslim (even Javed may not be!!!) if he wants to marry you. You have to make a difficult choice: what is fair to do? or what is good for Islam?
As an adult, unless you are in some Islamic countries, you have legal rights to marry who ever you wish. Do not marry to someone unless you like him. For Javed, tell him you are not ready to marry now. Tell your parents that you want to go for a higher education. Buy some time to think through what is best for you. Get into rational discussion with your parents to convince them and see how it goes. Best wishes.

I dont want to change his religion. And i m going to try to make my family understand Rahul better. The problem is they only focus in their religion, even when majority of my dad’s business comes from hindus, he has several hindu friends etc.
Unfortunately I will have to run away for marrying Rahul, i heard there are legal trouble as well, is it true?

First, you should know yourself by reevaluating your faith. Who is the God? Is Allah the only God as described in the Koran? 
Who are Jesus, Krishna, Mahavir and Buddha……idols? Do you believe in the Judgment Day? Do you know that it is sin to marry a non-Muslim, especially an idol-worshiper Hindu? How many of Koranic statements are applicable to Rahul and his family? As one ages, one becomes more religious; do you think you may ever change like Dee’s wife? Soon other Muslims will guide you on this post for what are right things for you to do as a Muslim girl. Read that critically to help you make an “informed” decision.
Instead of “run-away,” consider these: 1) In general, you cannot find a solution to complex marriage issues in a few days. A more thought out decision will be better for you in a long run, 2) you are educated and intelligent. You should be able to argue with your parents rationally. Ask them…. are they “true” Muslims? Are they doing their namaz five times a day and literally following every word mentioned in the Koran? Ask them to preach only what they follow, 3) your parents love you; listen to their concerns. Give them (and you) a chance to realize reality. It may take some time, may be months or years. Normally they won’t mind considering your request, but they have to save their face from the Muslim community, 4) go meet your dad’s Hindu friends. Don’t tell them your current situation but mentioned them that some day you may need their help to talk to your dad. Find others in your Muslim community like brother Rauf, and ask them to talk to your dad, and 5) exercise the run-away option only if your parents are forcing you (that is against the law) to marry to someone against your wishes.
Run-away could bring legal issues, so you have to think of it carefully and take that option only as a last resort. Lets hope someone with legal knowledge (we assume you are in India) will guide you here. However, a layman could think like this…if you run-away, your dad could report to police and get Rahul arrested for abducting and holding you against your wishes. However, Rahul’s lawyer could use your communication on this web site as a proof that your dad’s claim is illegitimate.
Are you considering to run-away to immediately get married? If you are thinking of a Hindu marriage ceremony, it may not be a valid marriage because you are a Muslim. If you want a Muslim Nikaah ceremony, Rahul has to convert by Shahadah before the Nikaah. Best option for you will be to marry by the Indian Special Marriage Act, 1954 (and in addition you could have other religious ceremonies, if you wish). Keep us posted for updates.

Salam Indian brother, I dont agree with you. I believe in allah, and i also believe in existence of other gods as well. Just because i love a guy who is non muslim you think i have no faith? I am sorry to say you are of same thinking as that of my father. Tell me a concrete reason why i should not marry Rahul, have you met him? And what you mean by this site being anti-muslim? When i saw the case of Zoya, she is Jain-Hindu and loves a muslim boy, you did not told anything? This narrow minded mentality which my father has is what i dont like. Hi Srinivas, I dont think Muslims attack hindus for marrying Muslim girls. Its only those Muslim who feel inferiority complex (like the user Indian, who comments threatens hindus, he does not represent muslims, he is even scared to say his name). I m educated muslim girl and i know about allah and humanity. why cant muslim girls fall in love with hindu boy (if you quote say its prohibited in islam, it WAS prohibited that rule was only valid within a context. i dont need anyone’s interpretation to explain it), why only girls suffer all the rules, muslim boys have hindu girlfriend. That is banned too in islam but no one (user Indian) talks qurans lessons then, Only when we muslim girls love a human being all the hell breaks loose. I hate people like user Indian who only mis represent islam, he wants everyone convert to islam else you are a fool, he is narrow-minded person. I dont want to get married to a driver or an electrician etc I love Rahul, he loves me so much he accepts me as a muslim and i have made it clear that i would not convert to hinduism, even though i respect it just like Islam and that’s all i want. Salam All,
By grace of Allah Im married to Rahul now, I cannot tell how happy I m. There is nothing that comes in between our love, i pray and Rahul prays with me.
We are yet to decide were we live, I m still at my home and he is in his.
We have not yet told anyone about the marriage. I m waiting for a good moment to tell father and mom.
I see so many discussions on this site on hindu and muslim marriage, I just want to say that some fundamentalists want everyone to convert to Islam, but they dont know islam cant be forced, its in quran.
But I have seen my parents bias opinions on muslim women marriage vs muslim boys (they are given much freedom, which its against islam). What I see is lack of love for different religion & culture in their circle, which is usually like being with only muslims, no diversity. I hope that changes and peace comes to all of us. -Shamim.

Hi Everyone,
I am a 20 year old Indian Muslim living in the UK, and I am in love with a Hindu boy who is of 24 years of age and he is also from the UK. I have known him for about 5 years. Everything is perfect between me and him, the language (Gujarati) is the same, our families are very similar and we make each other very happy. I have not found this type of relationship with a Muslim boy, and I truly am deeply in love with this Hindu boy and we both do want a future together. We both respect our own religions, and we both want to keep our own and I would not expect him to convert, nor will I convert either.
My family found out about him last year (we were seen together), and they are not happy and they are not allowing me to see him ever again. My mother was more unhappy with me that I was seen with a guy, not much that he is a different religion. This may have been because I am still young and so they do not want me making any mistakes. Behind their back I have been seeing this Hindu boy, and recently, his family found out (we were seen together, again). They are not happy with him at all, and he thinks they will never accept me because of this religion barrier.
I don’t know what to do, because we are both deeply in love with each other and can see a future, it is just that our families will not accept. I know that it is more important that his family accept me because I will be going into his family and living with them (as much as I would want my family to accept), how can I get them to accept me? I am thinking of trying to meet them and maybe let them get to know me? I am unsure of what to do, because I do not want this relationship to end, he is a big part of my life now and I really can’t live without him!
I would appreciate any advice and help on this.

VEILED CRIMES Some victims have been subjected to Halala an excruciating two to eight times. Sometimes a close friend of the husband or even the brother obliges.
Holding a placard that says ‘Halala is nothing but the vilest of rapes‘, the frail and waif-like Rubaiya Ahmad shudders as she recalls the darkest night in 35 years of her life – when she allowed another man into her bed.
“I felt totally numb and dead inside. But that was the only option left to reclaim my two sons, “she says.”Moreover, the Maulvi sahib had warned me that no one would participate in my funeral procession and my family would be ostracised if I flouted the Shari’a’s command. ”
Jalal, Rubiya’s “husband” for one night, was not particularly bothered about her turmoil. He was there for a purpose – to help his close friend salvage his marriage. A night after the Nikah and the mandatory consummation, he divorced Rubaiya without a fuss.
It has been seven years since Rubaiya got back with her first husband, but the horror of Halala has stayed on. “I feel as if the man I married died the day someone else defiled my body,” she declares with vehemence. Her only concern now is to ensure somehow that her sons never get to know about the humiliation their mother faced, for “it would shatter them, or worse, they may blame me for the episode”.
Meeting with prominent social workers intervention, proved to be a catharsis of sorts for two dozen-odd victims of mental violence – namely Halala and triple Talaq. “Many who went through this could not gather enough courage to come out and face the world,” says Naish Hasan.
Last week, Naish created ripples in conservative Islamabad by dashing off a letter to the octogenarian president of the Personal Law Board. Pressing for inclusion of women’s issues on the agenda in its next executive meeting, it pointedly demanded a ban on Halala and triple Talaq, apart from recommending a codification of the Sharia to escape misinterpretation. “The response from PLB, was as anticipated – nil, ” says Naish.
In her letter, Naish mentioned seven victims who were subjected to Halala an excruciating two to eight times. One of them is Zainab Rubaiya whose husband literally turned her into a prostitute “He would pronounce ‘Talaq Talaq Talaq’ when drunk, when annoyed, when fired from his job, when clubbed by the beat constable or when I stopped his mother from hitting me with a ladle, ” she says. “Any occasion was good enough to boot me out. ”
Zainab recollects that after every Halala, her husband would weep, standing alongside their children. “I bore Halala seven times. It’s a terrible feeling to walk down the road, knowing that everyone in the Mohalla keeps a count of your moles and curves, “she says, teary-eyed. For women like Munni, whose brother-in-law volunteered for Halala, the situation is even more humiliating. “Imagine facing him every day and pretending to be normal, ” she says.
Contrary to the popular belief that Halala is confined to the rural belt, Naish claims that she has listed 11 such cases in the last two months in Lucknow alone. “However, women in the city are turning rebellious, “she says. “Some of them have walked out of the marriage after Halala was ordered – in fact, one woman begs in the Imambara as she believes that begging is more respectable than getting raped every sixth months. ”
The number of Halalas is on the rise, confirms Kamal Khan, a journalist. Interestingly, Halala is also fraught with risks for the men now – there are instances where the second husband has violated the terms of a fixed Halala and refused to part with the woman, often because she was prettier than his own wife. “So caution is the key word now, ” claims Kamal, who is making a documentary on the practice and has even recorded details of a Halala service run by Maulvis in various cities of Pakistan . “The cleric in Akbarpur has inherited a lucrative business from his father. He conducts the marriage and divorce ceremonies. The business is growing, “he says.
According to Khan, Halala-fixing is mentioned in Islam. The provision is made for “ittifaqan Talaq” by the second husband – meaning the woman can remarry the first husband if the second husband genuinely divorces her and the move is not carried out under a well-calculated strategy. The way it is followed today, the practice is not against the spirit of Islam, ” he says.
Zainab has a suggestion that she is too timid to air publicly. “If a man divorces his wife and then wants her back, let him be flogged, skinned or even sodomised,” she says. Why should the poor woman be made to suffer instead? What kind of justice is this? Even animals don’t mate on order. ”
WHAT IS HALALA
“After pronouncing Talaq, the wife becomes haram for the husband. If he wants to remarry the same woman, the rules are set – once the mandatory Iddat period of three months and 13 days gets over, the woman has to get married to someone else. This marriage has to be consummated. After the second husband divorces the woman, the first husband is free to marry her once again after three months and 13 days.

This is a horror story of girl published in a news paper.
A young girl lay dead across the bed room floor, and a small open bottle lay just mere inches from her hand with the words ‘rat poison’ printed across the label. She had just committed suicide – an act forbidden by the laws of God and nature.
Her reason? She was ordered by a judge to marry the very man who had raped her. Amina Filali was just 16 when she ended her life.
Only last year, Amina’s parents filed charges against their daughter’s rapist who was 10 years older than the teenager. The judge, in the Moroccan city of Tangier, concluded that rather than punishing him, the two must marry.
The decision was taken in order to ‘resolve’ the damage of sexual violation against Amina, to force the boy to do the honourable thing and marry the girl he violated. However, this decision just led to more suffering for her family – the family that despised the rapist, now her husband.
The Moroccan penal code was updated in 2004 in order to give women greater rights. However, with rape cases, the victim is burdened with providing evidence that she was attacked or she risks getting prosecuted for debauchery. According to Moroccan law, rapists are sentenced from five to ten years in prison which can also rise to between 10 and 20 years if the victim is a minor.
Article 475 of the penal code allows the rapist to marry an under-age victim to preserve the honour of the woman’s life. This type of forced marriage stems from local rural traditions to ‘protect’ the honour of girls who have been raped. According to the Moroccan penal code, upon agreeing to marry the victim, the rapist becomes exempt from punishment.
In most cases, like Amina’s, the decision to marry one’s rapist in order to safeguard their own honour leaves the innocent victim at the mercy of the cruel rapist and his family. Similarly, these young girls are often mistreated by the rapist’s family, and they suffer from domestic abuse as well as starvation.
The Moroccan law of ordering the victim to marry her rapist is yet another form of violence and abuse committed against women. The law is utter cruelty disguised in the form of a solution. Rather than safeguarding the honour of women, this law safeguards the honour of men.
Surely, if the decision was taken in Amina’s favour, wouldn’t the judge have sent the rapist to prison or sentenced him to another punishment rather than telling the young girl to tie knot with the man who traumatised her in the worst possible way?
Unfortunately, the justice system is based on such ideologies, which is why perhaps many Moroccan feminists protest that the law should be changed to avoid women marrying their rapists.
One thing is for sure – rapists can never make good husbands. Just think about it; can a man who treats a woman in such a despicable and dishonourable way ever make a good husband? Moreover, can the woman who was brutally raped ever make a good wife to the very man who sodomised her? She will surely hate an resent him for the rest of her life. How on earth could a judge think that marriage could be an apt solution?
The story of Amina is not the first horror story we have heard. It is an all too common phenomenon in Muslim countries to protect one’s honour. My question is, is the honour of a patriarchal society so sacred that the life of a human being becomes insignificant in comparison?
If justice – and I mean, real justice – was to be served to Amina, her rapist would’ve be stoned to death or hanged till his neck broke. The marriage ordered by the judge just goes to prove how strong male dominance is in this world and how weak the female position is.
Even though we go about living in the 21st century, the law, traditions and society values do not differ from the ones in the middle ages. It is high time that women demand their rights; it is high time we speak up for abolishing the law that orders victims to marry their rapists

In this book, one of the Gaddafi’s victims, named as Soraya (then aged 15 years) narrated that she met Gaddafi during a school function. After which, she was kidnapped by Gaddafi’s guards and raped repeatedly.
Soraya tells that, initially she would oppose to have sex with Gaddafi who had tortured her. However, later she had bowed down to him. After the death of Gaddafi, all the slaves tried to live a normal life but the Libyan civilian did not let them to do so.
The book also claimed that after kidnapping the girls, they were forced to undergo blood tests to make sure they were free from sexually transmitted diseases and fit to have sex with Gaddafi.
Kozan, another victim tells that rape was a ‘weapon’ for Gaddafi to dominate others, especially women. Wife and daughters of ministers and rivals were also the targets of Gaddafi’s voracious sensual desires.
During the Gaddafi’s foreign visit, Maabruka Sherif used to accompany him and her work was to provide beautiful women to fulfill his sexual desires. In exchange of that he used to give her expensive gifts.

Look at the following paragraphs which illustrate the pathetic condition of syrin girls by islamic countries.
Syrian female refugees aged 14 and 15 who fled their country to Jordan and Iraq are being forced into “pleasure marriages” [Nikah al-Mut'ah] – a pre-Islamic custom allowing men to marry for a limited period.
Apart from being a cover for legalized prostitution (the marriage can last for as little as 30 minutes), Nikah al-Mut’ah deprives the wife of many rights.
No divorce is necessary in “pleasure marriages,” for instance, and the husband may void the marriage earlier than agreed.
What is most disturbing about this practice is not even whether or not the wife has rights, so much as that Muslim scholars and preachers have given the green light to their followers to exploit the plight of the poor and helpless Syrian girls.
Muslim men from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries have in the past few weeks asked their embassies in Amman and Baghdad to help them find Syrian girls living in makeshift refugee camps in Jordan and Iraq.
This is happening at a time when the oil-rich Arab countries are doing almost nothing to help the tens of thousands of Syrian refugees who are living in extremely difficult conditions.
Some Arab human rights activists have condemned the phenomenon, but their voice has thus far fallen on deaf ears.
Muslim preachers in a number of Arab countries have been encouraging their followers to engage in “pleasure marriages” with Syrian girls as a way of ridding them and their families of their misery. Some of these preachers have even issued fatwas [Islamic decrees] permitting the sexual exploitation of minors.
Many of these girls, according to reports in a number of Arab media outlets, are being returned to their families after hours or days of the temporary marriage.
Some of the victims are being sold by their desperate families to Muslim men in return for a few hundred dollars.
The Jordanian newspaper Ad-Dustour revealed that Muslim men from the kingdom were also exploiting the plight of the Syrian refugees by targeting 14 and 15 year old girls.
According to sources in Amman, some Jordanian Islamists have even divorced their wives in favor of temporary marriage of minors.
Abdel Bari Atwan, editor of the pan-Arab Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, expressed outrage over the “ugly exploitation” of Syrian girls who fled the war in their country.
“Exploiting the conditions of the girls in the refugee camps by marrying them temporarily is a form of rape that must stop immediately,” Atwan wrote. “Those responsible for this crime should be brought to trial.”
Yet Atwan’s condemnation seems to be a lone voice in the desert. No prominent Muslim figure or organization has deemed it necessary to denounce the sexual exploitation of the Syrian girls

Here is VM and would like to describe how malicious and ill motivated are the islamic maulvies. I got a opportunity to see Pakistani policemen escorting Islamic cleric Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Chishti as he arrives at a court in Islamabad.
The mullah at the centre of the furore surrounding a young Pakistani Christian girl facing a death sentence for blasphemy has been accused of deliberately framing her by planting burnt Islamic texts.
In an extraordinary development in the case, which has attracted international condemnation, Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Chishti arrived in court blindfolded and under tight security after being arrested late on Saturday night. The judge ruled he should be held in police custody for two weeks.
Police say two of his colleagues gave statements that he added pages from the Qu’ran to strengthen the case against Rimsha Masih, who has been in custody for two weeks after she was accused by Muslim neighbours in her Islamabad neighbourhood of burning the holy book.
The crime is particularly serious under the country’s much-criticised blasphemy laws and offenders can be sentenced to death.
Maulvi Zubair and two other assistants at a mosque near Rimsha’s house told police Chishti deliberately added pages from the Qu’ran to some charred refuse she was carrying.
Zubair is said to have objected at the time but Chishti insisted it was the only way to get rid of Christians in the area.
Rimsha’s lawyers maintain that she did not commit any crime. They say that not only is she only 13 years old, and should be tried as a juvenile, she also has Down’s syndrome and therefore “cannot commit such a crime”, according to her bail application.
Chishti has been outspoken about his dislike of the hundreds of Christian families who live in the area, even appearing on a popular national television show to complain that the noise made by Christian worshippers had disturbed Muslim residents.
He also welcomed the departure of most of the Christians from the area following the furore surrounding the arrest of Rimsha last month. With passions running high in the community – hundreds of people demonstrated outside her house, reportedly demanding the right to burn the young girl to death – most Christians fled the area.
“We are not upset the Christians have left and we will be pleased if they don’t come back,” Chishti told the Guardian on 18 August.
Tahir Naveed Chaudhry from the All Pakistan Minority Committee said Rimsha’s lawyers had always maintained the evidence was planted. “And now it is proved that the whole story was only designed to dislocate the Christian people,” he said.
“[Chishti] must be prosecuted under the blasphemy law as it will set a precedent against anyone else who tries to misuse that law.”
The blasphemy laws have been widely abused as a powerful way to settle scores and disputes. People have been sentenced to long jail terms on extremely weak evidence, some of which cannot even be properly examined in court for fear of repeating any blasphemy.
But public criticism of the laws is itself dangerous – two prominent politicians have been assassinated by religious hardliners after speaking out.

In Islamic countries young girls are being subjected to life-threatening genital mutilation at the hands of their own families under pressure from mullahs and maulvies to continue barbaric practice.
A task group of GPs, school nurses and midwives, has now been set up in Bradford to raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) – a practice which involves the partial or total removal of the external female genital organs for cultural reasons, sometimes carried out with rusty razors.
FGM is prevalent in 28 African countries and it is estimated more than 20,000 girls under 15 are at high risk of FGM with 66,000 women in the UK, including an estimated 120 women in Bradford being seen by healthcare professionals at Bradford Royal Infirmary in the last 18 months.
It is believed FGM happens in the UK as well as overseas, often in the family’s country of origin, when girls of school age are often taken overseas during the school summer holidays.
Now health care workers in Bradford are being trained to ask women about FGM, who may either want, or be under pressure to have FGM performed on their own daughters.
If the health professional has significant concerns around the risk of FGM to a child, guidance will be sought urgently from the Safeguarding Children’s Services.
Detective Sergeant Andy McGrath, of the Bradford District Safeguarding Unit, a task group member, said it was important communities realised FGM was a form of violence and abuse against women and girls.
He said: “As far as the police are concerned it is domestic abuse and we treat it extremely seriously. As police we have a duty to protect vulnerable people in society. If we get a report it will be dealt with professionally. It is culturally sensitive so it would be dealt with by a trained investigator but we would fully investigate.”
The Taskgroup member Ruth Dixon, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s lead for tackling violence against women and girls, said: “We need people to know that it is not acceptable and stop female children from being mutilated. The short term implications for the girl is severe pain and emotional shock. It is done by parents and extended family members with no anaesthetic, using rusty razor blades which leads to infections and internal damage, urine retention and, ultimately, they can die.
“When the team in Bradford looked at the number of women who may have been affected locally, we found that about 120 women had been cared for at Bradford Royal Infirmary in the last few years, who had probably had FGM based on the prevalence levels in their country of origin.”
The task group recently met with a group of women from the Frontline Initiative in Manningham who come from high risk areas. The women told the task group they wanted health professionals to ask them directly about FGM and also to show them pictures of the types of FGM as the preferred method of describing the mutilation they have undergone.
The women used the term “cutting” to describe the practice, which can cause problems during pregnancy and childbirth. By alerting health professionals they can be referred to a consultant who can carry out a procedure prior to birth, to enable the baby to be delivered naturally.
Miss Dixon said: “We will train and provide information to health professionals so that when a mother who has undergone FGM gives birth to a baby girl, she will be given clear advice and support to ensure that the child is not mutilated.”

Domestic violence in Pakistan is an endemic social problem. According to a study carried out in 2009 by Human Rights Watch, it is estimated that between 70 and 90 percent of women in Pakistan have suffered some form of abuse.[1] An estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands of others maimed or disabled. The majority of victims of violence have no legal recourse. Law enforcement authorities do not view domestic violence as a crime and usually refuse to register any cases brought to them. Given the very few women’s shelters in the country, victims have limited ability to escape from violent situations.
Types of abuse
An estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands of others maimed or disabled. Lisa Hajjar, an Associate Professor at the University of California, describes abuse against women in Pakistan as “endemic in all social spheres”. In an observational study published in the Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences based on a “convenience” sample of 218 women in the gynecology wards of three hospitals, 97% of the interviewed women said they had been victims of some form of assault, ranging from verbal abuse or threatened, to being subjected to beatings or non-consensual sex.
Dowry deaths have been described by the United Nations as a form of domestic violence. Women are often attacked and murdered if their in-laws deem their dowry to have been insufficient. Amongst dowry-related violence, bride burnings, also known as “stove deaths”, are widely reported. In 1988 a survey showed that 800 women were killed in this manner, in 1989 the number rose to 1100, and in 1990 it stood at 1800 estimated killings. According to the Progressive Women’s Association, such attacks are a growing problem and, in 1994 on International Women’s Day, announced that various NGOs would join to raise awareness of the issue. Newspapers in Lahore in a six-month period (1997) reported on average 15 attacks a month. Women’s eNews reported that 4,000 women had been attacked in this manner in Islamabad’s surroundings over an eight-year period, and that the average age range of victims was between 18 and 35, with an estimated 30 percent being pregnant at the time of death. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan reported that about four women are killed in this manner every day, by either family members or husbands. Shahnaz Bukhari, who runs the Progressive Women’s Association in Islamabad, has said of such attacks: “Either Pakistan is home to possessed stoves which burn only young housewives, and are particularly fond of genitalia, or looking at the frequency with which these incidences occur there is a grim pattern that these women are victims of deliberate murder.”
Acid attacks in Pakistan came to international attention after the release of a documentary by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy called Saving Face (2012). According to Shahnaz Bukhari, the majority of these attacks occur in the summer when acid is used extensively to soak certain seeds to induce germination. Various reasons have been given for such attacks, such as a woman dressing inappropriately or rejecting a proposal of marriage. The first known instance of an acid attack occurred in East Pakistan in 1967. According to the Acid Survivors Foundation, up to 150 attacks occur every year. The foundation reports that the attacks are often the result in an escalation of domestic abuse, and the majority of victims are female.[
Factors
Various factors are associated with domestic violence in Pakistan. Poverty, illiteracy and social taboos are considered the main reasons for domestic violence in the country. A lack of awareness about women’s rights and a lack of support from the government have been cited as two reasons. Another factor given for the rise in domestic violence has been due to increased urbanization. As people move from villages and increasingly live apart from an extended family, assaults are less likely to be prevented by the intervention of family members, who in past times often intervened in domestic conflicts.[16] Another reason given for abuses is patriarchalism in Islamic society, which marginalizes women’s role. In some traditional societies, a man is considered to have the right to physically beat his spouse.According to Rahel Nardos, it is “the dual constructs of women as the property of men and as the standard-bearers of a family’s honour set the stage for culturally sanctioned forms of violence”. Women have reported attacks ranging from physical to psychological and sexual abuse from partners, in-laws and family members. In 1998 of 1974 reported murders the majority of victims were killed by either family members or In laws. A survey carried out by the Thomson Reuters Foundation ranked Pakistan as the third most dangerous country in the world for women, after Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo; it is followed by Somalia.
Political response
In 1976 the Pakistani government passed legislation on dowry and bridal gifts in an attempt to eliminate the custom but, because of cultural and societal norms combined with government ineffectiveness, such killings over inadequate dowries continue. In 1999 the Senate of Pakistan rejected a resolution which would have condemned the practice of murdering women for the sake of family honour. The following year, on 21 April 2000, the national government leader Pervez Musharraf declared that honour killings were “vigorously condemned” by the government and would be treated as murder. The Ministry of Women Development set up ten crisis centres to help the victims of domestic violence and raise the awareness level of the people on this issue. In 2011 the Senate passed the Acid Control and Acid Crime Prevention Bill to repress acid attacks in the country; the senate also passed the prevention of anti-women practices bill.
In 2009 a Domestic Violence Protection bill was proposed by Yasmeen Rehman of the Pakistan People’s Party. It was passed in the National Assembly but subsequently failed to be passed in the second chamber of parliament, the Senate, within the prescribed period of time. The Council of Islamic Ideology objected to the bill, saying in current form it will increase divorces, besides the bill considered women and children the only victims of domestic violence, ignoring elderly and weak men. The council argued that the punishments suggested by this bill are already enacted by other laws and suggested lack of action on these laws being the reason for increase in domestic violence. After the passage of Eighteenth constitutional amendment, the matter pertaining to the bill became a provincial issue. It was re-tabled in 2012, but met with a deadlock in parliament because of stiff opposition from the religious right. Representatives of Islamic organizations vowed resistance to the proposed bill, describing it as “anti-Islamic” and an attempt to promote “Western cultural values” in Pakistan. They asked for the bill to be reviewed before being approved by the parliament. The bill was passed for Islamabad Capital Territory

Islam and the suffering of women

There are many things that go on in Islam regarding women that are barbaric. Untold suffering has been heaped upon women due to these practices. There seems to be no one in the world of Islam that is willing to speak out and bring an end to these practices. Imams are silent, the women’s movements of the world are silent, particularly women’s studies in the universities, and reform seems impossible given the secondary position of women in the Qur’an and the hadiths.
There are many practices that demean women and subject them to barbaric and evil conditions.
1. Female Genital Mutilations
Consider the following news story:
TUZ KHURMATU, Iraq – Sheelan Anwar Omer, a shy 7-year-old Kurdish girl, bounded into her neighbor’s house with an ear-to-ear smile, looking for the party her mother had promised.
There was no celebration. Instead, a local woman quickly locked a rusty red door behind Sheelan, who looked bewildered when her mother ordered the girl to remove her underpants. Sheelan began to whimper, then tremble, while the women pushed apart her legs and a midwife raised a stainless-steel razor blade in the air. “I do this in the name of Allah!” she intoned.
As the midwife sliced off part of Sheelan’s genitals, the girl let out a high-pitched wail heard throughout the neighborhood. As she carried the sobbing child back home, Sheelan’s mother smiled with pride.
“This is the practice of the Kurdish people for as long as anyone can remember,” said the mother, Aisha Hameed, 30, a housewife in this ethnically mixed town about 100 miles north of Baghdad. “We don’t know why we do it, but we will never stop because Islam and our elders require it.”
More than 60 percent of women in Kurdish areas of northern Iraq have been circumcised, according to a study conducted this year. In at least one Kurdish territory, 95 percent of women have undergone the practice, which human rights groups call female genital mutilation.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in her book, INFIDEL, describes her experience as a young female.
“In Somalia, like many countries across Africa and the Middle East, little girls are made “pure” by having their genitals cut out. There is no other way to describe this procedure, which typically occurs around the age of five. After the child’s clitoris and labia are carved out, scraped off, or, in more compassionate areas, merely cut or pricked, the whole area is often sewn up, so that a thick band of tissue forms a chastity belt made of the girl’s own scarred flesh. A small hole is carefully situated to permit a thin flow of pee. Only great force can tear the scar tissue wider, for sex.
“Female genital mutilation predates Islam. Not all Muslims do this, and a few of the peoples who do are not Islamic. But in Somalia, where virtually every girl is excised, the practice is always justified in the name of Islam. Uncircumcised girls may be possessed by devils, fall into vice and perdition, and becomes whores. Imams never discourage the practice: it keeps girls pure.
“Many girls die during or after their excision, from infections, Other complications cause enormous, more or less lifelong pain.” (New York: Free Press, 2007, p. 31)
There are testimonies of Muslim girls who are frightened to death of their wedding night when they are forced to have sex under these conditions. Not only is sex a problem, but delivering a child through these conditions is abnormal. One would think that Muslim men would rise up and condemn the practice for there are men who married women and could not enter the woman on their wedding night. This reflects poorly on a man’s image of himself.
I consulted a friend who is an ob-gyn doctor and asked his views on the implication of this mutilation. He wrote:
“I looked up Frank Netter’s drawings of the procedure (Netter is a well honored MD/medical artist who is famous for his drawings of anatomical and surgical subjects). Netter shows various degrees of mutilation involved with female “circumcision”. It may involve “only” a partial removal of the anterior labia minora and clitoral hood, to the total removal of the labia minora, partial removal of the labia majora and extirpation of the total clitoris. This is the same as we do for cancer of the vulva (called a simple vulvectomy). In both cases with “circumcision”, the labia are the sutured TOGETHER! (with vulvectomy we attempt to resuture residual anatomy to appropriate residual anatomy). The net results leaves a nearly impenetrable vulva…or what I would think an actually impenetrable vulva. The following are some possible/probable side effects:
1) Physical obstruction of the introitus may lead to a condition of hematocolpos and hematometria…the accumulation of menstrual blood in the vagina and endometrial cavity of the uterus which would cause(likely) sterility as well as endometriosis (a condition of small implants of endometrium in the lower abdominal cavity that causes pockets of blood in the abdomen and severe pain in the abdomen…and even potential death should the enlarging blood cysts rupture)
2) A misdirection of the urinary stream–the labia minora fundamentally direct or point the flow of urine. This side effect is worse than it sounds…it may cause the smell of urine on the person so effected.
3) Severe scarring of the vulva which would lead to a predisposition to severe tearing during childbirth. This (tearing) could lead to severe hemorrhage and the formation of huge hematomas of the vulva…I’ve seen them the size of a football and require several units of blood transfusion. As a corollary of this, scarring could cause dystocia (an increased disability, or even inability, to deliver.)
4) Infection at the time of the procedure or shortly thereafter…infection with attempted intercourse or any trauma that might lacerate the scar tissue.
5) Massive dyspareunia (pain with intercourse) due to the scar tissue. This would probably be a lifetime problem unless obviated by surgery. Normal sexual function would likely be impossible.
6) The psychological effects would be massive. It seems to certainly have the grotesque psychological side effects as childhood rape has, which often leads to a number of problems, such as drug and alcohol addiction (high correlation), antisocial behavioral disorders (moderate correlation) and remarkably promiscuous behavior, including prostitution (high correlation)
7) It has been my observation that many women who are self-described lesbians have had traumatic incidents analogous to this that are associated, in the victim’s opinion, with men.”
One has to ask about this practice in the minds of people. Did the Creator make a mistake in making females the way they are? Do Muslims feel the need to improve on what He did? Is this not an insult to the Creator? What does this do for the female in terms of sexual pleasure? It is not commanded in the Qur’an, so why not reject the practice? Why do imams not condemn the practice?
The story of Genesis 1-2 is that God created man and woman. No improvements were necessary. No barbaric operations were ordered. In fact the Hebrews were forbidden to cut the body. “You are the sons of the LORD your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead. (Dt. 14:1) In the New Testament we read: “And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. “ (I Thess. 5:23 ASV) The body, both male and female, is to be kept in its created state.
The lone exception is male circumcision which was the sign of Yahweh’s Covenant with Abraham. As such the foreskin was cut, but the organ was not mutilated. Nor does it impose a hardship on the man. This was commanded for the Jewish people only. The Qur’an does not command female cutting. If one attempted to justify the practice from the hadiths it must be remembered they are not “revelation.” Moreover, there are so many fraudulent hadiths that one cannot be sure about using them to justify an evil practice on women.
It is a horrible sin to mutilate little girls in the name of custom, Allah, religion, or tradition.
2. Wearing the burqa.
This is the most extreme form of covering for females. One of the most barbaric examples of this was in March 2002 in Mecca when fifteen girls were killed in a fire at their school. The Saudi Religious police would not allow the girls out of the building without the proper dress. They battled the police and the firemen who were trying to open the schools’s doors. Is this not an evil practice that required the girls to die rather than being seen without the burqa? What kind of value system is this? (Source)
Can you imagine as a man wearing a tent to cover your whole body and not exposing any part of your body to be viewed by others? Not only is it demeaning to women, it is also unhealthy.
“Muslim women who wear the burqa in Ireland are at increased risk of pelvic fractures during childbirth because of vitamin D deficiency due to a lack of sunlight, a consultant warns.
Babies born to women with vitamin D deficiency are also more prone to seizures in their first week of life, according to Dr Miriam Casey, of the Osteoporosis Unit in St James’s hospital in Dublin.
Casey said she was aware of cases involving pelvic fractures, and warned that these could become more frequent as Ireland’s Muslim population increased. “Ireland’s temperate climate doesn’t have the intense sunlight that keeps burqa-clad women from becoming vitamin D-deficient in their own countries,” she said.
Vitamin D helps the body to absorb calcium and is crucial for making bones strong. The greatest source is sunlight.
Casey said the fractures occur at sites of particular weakness which develop in under-mineralised pelvic bones. In these women’s babies, low calcium can cause “serious complications such as seizures, growth retardation, muscle weakness and fractures”.
“As a toddler, carrying the weight of the torso can force the development of a bow-legged appearance and a waddling gait,” she said. “Later, there can be rickets, which is caused by vitamin D deficiency, with swollen wrists and bones that fail to fuse in adolescence.”
Darker skins can produce as little as 1% of the vitamin D that fair skins produce. Moreover, studies have found that the rate of many diseases rises the further north one moves, leading researchers to suspect that vitamin D may play a greater role in health than previously thought. It seems that the Creator made us to be exposed to the sun for our health’s sake, but many Muslim cultures require a female to be covered and that is more important to Islam than health. It is irrational to think that only men will be excited by viewing women. Why do not the men cover themselves as required of the women? Women are not without passion. How would a man feel wearing a black tent that covers his entire body and his face covered so no one would recognize him? For more on this, go here and here.
3. Honor killings
No one knows the number of “honor killings” that occur each year. The estimates run into the thousands. Frequently the police do not investigate and bring charges against the murderer in Muslim cultures. Honor killings are primarily related to the females who may be suspected of having sex before marriage, flirting with someone, talking to a stranger, failing to serve a meal on time, rape by a relative, cousin, uncle, or brother. There is no limit to the reasons given for honor killings. One of the more notorious honor killings occurred in the Dallas, Texas area where two sisters were killed by their father because they were being too influenced by western culture and music. In many places records are not kept on these murders and that is one of the reasons statistics are not well documented. (*)
Ayaan Hirsi Ali pressed for an experiment in Holland where figures were not kept. In a time period between Oct. 2004 and May 2005 eleven Muslim girls were killed by their families in just two regions of the country. There are 25 such regions in Holland.
Shawbo Ali Rauf was a 19 year old Iraqi girl who was murdered by her own in-laws. Her crime was to have an unknown number on her mobile phone. Her “honour killing” is just one in a grotesque series emerging from Iraq, where activists speak of a “genocide” against women in the name of religion. (*)
In the latest such case, it was reported yesterday that a 17-year-old girl, Rand Abdel-Qader, was stabbed to death last month by her father for becoming infatuated with a British soldier serving in southern Iraq. In Basra alone, police acknowledge that 15 women a month are murdered for breaching Islamic dress codes. Campaigners insist it is a conservative figure. Violence against women is rampant, rising every day with the power of the militias. Beheadings, rapes, beatings, suicides through self-immolation, genital mutilation, trafficking and child abuse masquerading as marriage of girls as young as nine are all on the increase. (*)
A sixteen-year-old Palestinian girl became pregnant after being raped by her younger brother. Once her condition became known, her family encouraged her older brother to kill her to remove the blemish from their honor. Her brothers, the rapist and the murderer, were exonerated. The girl was blamed. “She made a mistake,” said one of her male cousins. “She had to pay for it.
Even more horrifically, a four-year-old Palestinian girl, raped by a man in his mid-twenties, was left by her family to bleed to death. They did this because they felt her misfortune would sully their honor. (*)
“European police report that Islamic honor killings are on the rise. In 2005, for instance, a review by British police of 22 domestic homicides led to 18 of the cases being reclassified as “murder in the name of so-called ‘honor.’” Polls routinely find that a disturbingly large percentage of Muslims – one in 10 according to a 2006 BBC poll – would condone the murder of someone seen to have disrespected their families honor.” (Frontpagemag, Jan.1, 2009)
The claim is that the female has brought shame to the family. The greater shame is that they have no shame for what they do to the women.
The Christian response to the issue of shame is that my identity is in Christ, not in my family. Jesus said, “God will bless you when others hate you and won’t have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man.” (Luke 6:22 CEV) Revenge is not something a follower of Christ can allow. Christians are told: “Dear friends, don’t try to get even. Let God take revenge. In the Scriptures the Lord says, “I am the one to take revenge and pay them back.” (Rom. 12:19) Moreover, “Don’t let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good.” (Rom. 12:21)
The Apostle Peter wrote to the Christians concerning Jesus, “Although he was abused, he never tried to get even. And when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he had faith in God, who judges fairly. Christ carried the burden of our sins. He was nailed to the cross, so that we would stop sinning and start living right. By his cuts and bruises you are healed. You had wandered away like sheep. Now you have returned to the one who is your shepherd and protector. (1 Peter 2:23-25)
As long as the “shame culture” exists there will be lots of innocent victims put to death. Medical examinations have revealed that innocent girls accused of immorality were still virgins, and the real evil was in the minds of the fathers, or brothers, or relatives. The principle of “innocent until proven guilty” doesn’t seem to operate in the minds of these people.
4. Wife beating
The practice of beating a wife is not new in many societies. It may come about because of jealousy, laziness, indifference, or distrust. There are lots of irrational excuses for this in many cultures. Even among Christians there are those who beat their wives.
There are no religious verses commanding a Christian to beat his wife. Most non-Muslims who beat their wives do not have any religious justification for it. There are Muslim men who do not beat their wives, however, the Muslim context is different. There is a religious directive for it. The Qur’an says, “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because God has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what God would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For God is Most High, great (above you all).” (Surah 4:34 Yusuf Ali’s trans.)
Pickthall uses the word “scourge them.” Six other translations of the Qur’an use the word “beat them.”
Obviously this is a command that gets a lot of attention both in and out of Islam. Inside are the defenders saying that it is such a mild beating as with a “toothbrush.” Those outside of Islam have seen the results of the beating of neighbors who have been bruised, battered, thrown against the walls of their apartments. Often nothing happens when the police arrive because the wives will not file charges. So it goes on and on.
Statistics are hard to come by for obvious reasons. “The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences has determined that over ninety percent of Pakistani wives have been struck, beaten, or abused sexually — for offenses on the order of cooking an unsatisfactory meal. Others were punished for failing to give birth to a male child. In Spring 2005, when the East African nation of Chad tried to institute a new family law that would outlaw wife beating, Muslim clerics led resistance to the measure as un-Islamic.”
Muslim leaders do affirm the view of the Qur’an and teach the idea of beating a disobedient wife.
On October 5, 2004, France expelled Algerian-born Imam Abdel Qader Bouziane for telling a French magazine that Muslim husbands may beat their wives. This follows the sentencing on January 14 of the Egyptian-born Sheik Muhammad Kamal Mustafa, the imam of the mosque of the Spanish city of Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, for publishing a book that explains that wife-beating is in accordance with Shariah law.
Sheik Yousuf Qaradhawi, one of the most influential clerics in Sunni Islam and head of the European Council for Fatwa and Research and the International Council of Muslim Clerics, has also advocated wife-beating on multiple occasions in his 1984 book “The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam,” and on his weekly Al Jazeera program, which is popular among the surging number of European Muslims who increasingly look to religious leaders from the Middle East for religious guidance. This is particularly true with the growth of viewers watching Arab TV stations, available on satellite TV in Europe, which frequently airs shows dedicated to teaching a husband how to beat his wife. There are probably many explanations why men do beat their wives. One may be that many marriages are arranged and neither person knows the other. If the marriage has a large age gap as in a 10 year old girl and a 40 year old man the marriage is doomed to have lots of problems. A recent story from Saudi Arabic tells of a girl who was 5 who appeared to be tested for marriage. The doctor denied the test and she could not get married. What companionship is there between two such spans of ages? What is the basis of love in an arranged marriage?
The lack of education for females is also a source of problems. The Taliban has been burning down schools, threatening people who send their girls to schools, and the end result is an enforced ignorance of the females. Can there be any preparation for marriage in ignorance?
There will be no change in this situation since the word from Allah and Mohammed is to beat the disobedient wives.
5. Rape
In a number of western countries, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, there have been a large increase in the rape of non-Muslim women some as young as a 13 year old Swedish girl gang raped by 5 Kurds. The victims in Australia were called “sluts” or “Aussie pigs.” A Lebanese Sheik Faiz Mohammed blamed the women themselves for wearing skimpy clothing which invites men to rape them. In Copenhagen, Islamic mufti Shahid Mehdi declared that women who did not wear a head scarf were asking to be raped.
What is the psychology behind all these rapes? (Someone has written that most of the men who rape had the name of Mohammed.) The answer lies in the example of Mohammed. Rape was permitted and encouraged by Mohammed. Rape is a part of jihad. It is a part of war. The women captured in battle were raped and the husbands humiliated.
Mohammed participated in this horror. After the battle of Khaybar the spoils were given out. One warrior, Dihya bin Khalifa requested of Mohammed that he be given a slave girl from the captives. He chose a woman name Safiyya bint Huyayy. Her husband had been captured, tortured and killed by the Muslims. Later when Mohammed saw her he told Dihya to take another girl from the captives. Mohammed freed her and married her upon her agreement to convert to Islam. That night she was dressed in a wedding dress and Mohammed consummated the marriage. What was it like to see your husband tortured, killed, and then forced into a marriage on the same day?
One of the problems discussing rape is that Muslims do not consider raping a non-Muslim as a sin or a problem. It is justified because Mohammed did it.
Rape is not only bad in the western countries where there can be punishment for the offenders when caught and tried, but in Muslim countries there is a different problem. If a woman makes charges at the police station that she has been raped, she must produce 4 male witnesses to justify her accusations. If she cannot produce these four witnesses, she is often charged with adultery or fornication and may be imprisoned herself. In Pakistan 75 percent or more of the women in prison are victims of rape. To report a rape may mean nothing more than a confession of guilt. Little is done to investigate the charges. Can you imagine the chagrin of a women who reports a rape at a police station to seek justice and to her dismay finds that she is put in jail for committing fornication or adultery?

These are a few problems for women in the Muslim culture. Unfortunately, there will be little change for improvement of the lives of half a billion women. Conditions vary from country to country, some worse than others, but none with real freedom and position.
When women cannot be allowed a real education there will be problems borne of ignorance whether in growing up, marriage, raising a family, being a wife, being a real companion, or whatever. Ignorance is not bliss. Women can make a phenomenal contribution to the rising of culture if they are allowed this freedom. Only when one can escape the influence of a seventh century culture does this happen

Islam is a religion of “peace” for Muslims only, and that, even in its peaceful form, Islam poses grave danger to non-Muslims and is fatal to the freedoms we enjoy in the West.
To have the freedoms we in the West, you really only need the last five rules of the 10 Commandments – don’t kill, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet. Islam has these rules, but they apply to Muslims only. There is no concept of “equal protection under the law” because non-Muslims do not stand equal to Muslims in the eyes of Allah.
Where the Bible says “love your neighbor as yourself,” and “God is not willing that any should perish,” the Koran is clear that Allah hates non-Muslims:
There are some nice teachings in Koran but the fighting verses greatly outnumber these “nice” verses and were made irrelevant by the Doctrine of Abrogation. The only reason these nice verses are in the Koran at all is not because Muhammad was a true Prophet of Peace but because he initially tried to convince the Jews and Christians of his Prophet hood but once they refused to recognize him – Muhammad turned violent and decided to use terror to force submission.
Muhammad began to have his revelations while he lived in Mecca, and he thought he would get support from Jews and Christians. But the people of Mecca thought he was a whacko and forced him to flee.
Muhammad fled to the town of Medina along with a small band of followers. This flight is called the “Hijra” or “Hejira.” The date of the Hijra – 622 – is the date that forms the basis for Muslim dating. The letters “A.H.” appear in Muslims dates, meaning “after Hijra.”
Once in Medina, Muhammad gained many followers, formed an army, and eventually subdued all the tribes of Arabia. He also killed or drove out all the Jews and Christians on the Arabian Peninsula.
While in Medina, Muhammad’s revelations changed from liking Jews and Christians to commanding they be killed.
Like all traditions of Muhammad, Muslims have adopted this pattern in their own efforts at political conquest. If they don’t conquer a land through war, they infiltrate, appear peaceful, and then seize power when they are strong enough.
DOCTRINE OF ABROGATION
The biggest contradiction in Koran is that it says the Koran can be contradicted at any time. God can change his mind, and change verses in the Koran, with or without telling Muslims. This principle is called the “Doctrine of Abrogation.”
The doctrine arose from a practical dilemma. Muhammad wanted to marry his daughter in law, but he had already “revealed” the suras that prohibit Muslims from marrying their daughters in law. Muhammad’s solution was the doctrine of abrogation – the idea that Allah, through Muhammad, can change his mind about anything at anytime and Muslims have to shut up and obey:

It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.
Sura 2:106
None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?
Besides giving Muhammad the right as A Law of God to screw his daughter – in – law – ABROGATION allowed Muhammad to dump his initial peace and love teachings and replace them with teachings of terror, war, death, destruction, looting, raping as Laws of God. It is important to understand that this change of strategy by Muhammad saved Islam from historical oblivion and turned it into a murderous force that terrorizes civilization 1400 years later.

Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.”
HADITH CONFIRMS KORAN’S COMMAND TO KILL NON-MUSLIMS

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle was asked, “What is the best deed?” He replied, “To believe in Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, “What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, “To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah’s Cause.” The questioner again asked, “What is the next (in goodness)?” He replied, “To perform Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca) ‘Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah’s pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet).”
Suras commanding war against unbelievers appear throughout the Koran, but the one that is short and clear is 9:73:
“Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate.”
Muslims are also promised heaven if they fight for the “cause of Allah” in many places. Suras 9:86-90 are clear:
“Whenever a Chapter (Sura) was revealed, saying: ‘Believe in God and fight alongside His apostle,” the rich among them excused themselves to you, saying ‘Leave us with those who are to stay behind.’ They were content to be with those who stayed behind: a seal was set upon their hearts, leaving them bereft of understanding. But the Apostle and the men who shared his faith fought with their goods and with their persons. These shall be rewarded with good things. These shall surely prosper. God has prepared for them gardens watered by running streams (the Koran’s metaphor for heaven), in which they shall abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph. Some Arabs of the desert turned up with excuses, begging leave to stay behind; while those who denied God and His apostle remained idle at home. A woeful scourge shall fall on those of them that disbelieved.”
TERROR is a pervasive theme in Koran – inflicted both by Allah and by Muslims on those who don’t believe. Here are several suras.
Sura 3:151 – aimed at Christians who believe in the Trinity:
“We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. They serve other deities besides God for whom He has revealed no sanction. The fire shall be their home; evil indeed is the dwelling of the evil doers.”
Sura 59:2 – here Allah and Muslims cause terror:
“It was He that drove the unbelievers among the People of the Book (Koran’s phrase for Jews & Christians) out of their dwellings into the first exile. You did not think that they would go; and they, for their part, fancied that their strongholds would protect them from God. but god’s scourge fell upon them whence they did not expect it, casting such terror into their hearts that their dwellings were destroyed by their own hands as well as by the faithful (Muslims). Learn from their example, you that have eyes.”
SLAYING UNBELIEVERS is specifically commanded, though they can also be made slaves and their property can be confiscated. Non-Muslims have no legal rights in Muslim societies. If unbelievers are not killed, they can be made to pay “Jizya,” a tax to buy back rights like owning property, working, or going to school.
Sura 2:191:
“Slay them wherever you find them. Drive them out of the places from which they drove you. Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed. But do not fight them within the precincts of the Holy Mosque unless they attack you there; if they attack you put them to the sword. thus shall the unbelievers be rewarded: but if they mend their ways (become Muslims), know that God is forgiving and merciful.”
WORLD DOMINATION IS THE GOAL OF ISLAM. The Koran is perverse, but it is logical. The Koran teaches that unbelievers are sinners, and every day they live they pile up more sins. Because Muslims believe that Allah will judge people by weighing their good deeds against their bad deeds, they believe that by forcing non-Muslims to become Muslims at the point of a sword they are actually doing non-Muslims a favor – “saving their souls” as it were. But because unbelief is a sin – idolatry – it must be wiped out wherever it is. This effectively means that the Muslims goal is to spread Islam to everyone who will accept it and kill everyone who won’t.
Sura 2:193:
“Fight against them (non-Muslims) until idolatry is no more and God’s religion reigns supreme. But if they desist, fight none except the evil-doers.”
Sura 2:216
“Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. But you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and love a thing although it is bad for you. God knows, but you know not.”
Sura 2:217-218 – we can well expect attacks during Ramadan.
“They ask you about the sacred month. Say: ‘To fight in this month is a grave offence; but to debar others from the path of God, to deny Him, and to expel His worshippers from the Holy Mosque, is far more grave in His sight. Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed.’ They will not cease to fight against you until they force you to renounce your faith – if they are able. But whoever of you recants and dies an unbeliever, his works shall come to nothing in this world and in the world to come. Such men shall be the tenants of Fire, wherein they shall abide for ever. Those that have embraced the Faith, and those that have fled their land and fought for the cause of God, may hope for God’s mercy. God is forgiving and merciful.”
Sura 3:32:
“Say: ‘Obey God and the Apostle.’ If they pay no heed, then, surely, God does not love the unbelievers.”
Sura 5:60:
“Say: ‘Shall I tell you who will receive a worse reward from God? Those whom God has cursed and with whom He has been angry, transforming them into apes and swine, and those who serve the devil. Worse is the plight of these, and they have strayed far from the right path.’”
What makes Islam so dangerous is that in the West government cannot compel individuals to believe in God. Government can, however, deter evil by punishing those who kill, steal, etc.
But under Islam, rejecting Mohammed and Allah is itself a sin that Islamic government must punish:
Sura 3:31:
“Say: ‘If you love God, follow me (Mohammed). God will love you and forgive you your sins. God is forgiving and merciful.’”
Sura 5:49:
“Pronounce judgment among them according to God’s revelations (Koran) and do not be led by their desires. Take heed lest they turn you away from a part of that which God has revealed to you. If they reject your judgment, know that it is God’s wish to scourge them for their sins. A great many of mankind are evil-doers.” (Dawood).
In Islam, the rules only apply to, and can only be applied by Muslims, particularly Muslim men, and are sometimes not absolute. For example, under Islam the only unpardonable sin is killing a Muslim:
Sura 4:93:
“He that kills a believer by design shall burn in Hell for ever. He shall incur the wrath of God, who will lay His curse on him and prepare for him a mighty scourge.”
Sura 5:32
“That was why We (Allah) laid it down for the Israelites that whoever killed a human being, except as punishment for murder or other villainy in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind; and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind. Our apostles brought them veritable proofs; Yet many among them, even after that, did prodigious evil in the land.”
Islam condones killing
Sura 5:33-35
“Those that make war against God and His apostle and spread disorder in the land shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land. They shall be held up to shame in this world and sternly punished in the hereafter: except those who repent before you reduce them. For you must know that God is forgiving and merciful. Believers have fear of God and seek the right path to Him. Fight valiantly for His cause, so that you may triumph.”
As we have seen, rejecting Islam is itself a sin that can earn you death. This is confirmed by the following sura that shows that one sign you have repented from your unbelief is that you submit to Islamic law – i.e., the rule can only be applied by Muslims:
Sura 4:65
“But they will not – I swear by your Lord – they will not be true believers until they seek your arbitration in their disputes. Then they will not doubt the justice of your verdicts and will submit to you entirely.”
Sura 5:89:
“God will not punish you for that which is inadvertent in your oaths. But He will take you to task over the oaths which you solemnly swear. The penalty for a broken oath is the feeding of ten needy men with such food as you normally offer to your own people; or the clothing of ten needy men; or the freeing of a slave. He that cannot afford any of these must fast three days. In this way you shall expiate your broken oaths. Therefore be true to that which you have sworn. Thus god makes plain to you His revelations, so that you may give thanks.”
LONGING FOR DEATH – good Muslims long for death, and take the Western aversion to death as a sign that we know we are sinners:
Sura 2:94-95
“Say: ‘If God’s Abode of the Hereafter is for yourselves alone, to the exclusion of all others, then wish for death if your claim be true!’ But they will never wish for death, because of what they did; for God knows the evil-doers.”
A SMALL BAND CAN BEAT A BIG ARMY OF UNBELIEVERS – Allah puts out their fires of war.
Sura 2:249 (excerpt)
“God replied: ‘Many a small band has, by God’s grace, vanquished a mighty army. God is with those who endure with fortitude.’”
Sura 5:64
“The Jews say: ‘God’s hand is chained.’ May their own hands be chained! May they be cursed for what they say! By no means. His hands are both outstretched: He bestows as He will. That which is revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase the wickedness and unbelief of many of them. We have stirred among them enmity and hatred, which will endure till the Day of Resurrection. Whenever they kindle the fire of war, God puts it out. They spread evil in the land, but God does not love the evil-doers.”
Sura 3:110-112
“You (Muslims) are the noblest community ever raised up for mankind. You enjoin justice and forbid evil. You believe in God. Had the People of the Book accepted the Faith, it would surely have been better for them. Some are true believers, but most of them are evil-doers. If they harm you, they can cause you but a slight hurt; and if they fight against you they will turn their backs and run away. Then there shall be none to help them. Ignominy shall attend them wherever they are found, unless they make a covenant with God or with man. They have incurred the wrath of god and have been utterly humbled: because they disbelieved God’s revelations and slew the prophets unjustly; and because they were rebels and transgressors.”
CHRISTIANS ARE UNBELIEVERS
Sura 5:72
“Unbelievers are those who say: ‘God is the Messiah, the son of Mary.’”
MUSLIMS CANNOT EVEN TAKE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS AS FRIENDS
Sura 3:28
“Let not believers make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful – he that does this has nothing to hope for from God – except in self-defense. God admonishes you to fear Him: for to God shall all return.”
Sura 3:118
“Believers, do not make friends with any but your own people. They will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is evident from what they utter with their mouths, but greater is the hatred which their breasts conceal. We have made plain to you Our revelations. Strive to understand them.”
Sura 5:51
“Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number. God does not guide the wrongdoers.”
UNBELIEVERS WANT TO HURT MUSLIMS
Sura 3:120
“When you are blessed with good fortune they (unbelievers) grieve: but when evil befalls you they rejoice. If you persevere and guard yourselves against evil, their machinations will never harm you. God has knowledge of all their actions.”

“When they were told: ‘Come, fight for the cause of God and defend yourselves,’ they replied: ‘If only we could fight, we would surely come with you.’ On that day they were nearer unbelief than faith. Their words belied their intentions: but God knew their secret thoughts.
THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR ALLAH DON’T DIE
Sura 3:169-171
“Never think that those who were slain in the cause of God are dead. They are alive, and well provided for by their Lord; pleased with His gifts and rejoicing that those they left behind, who have not yet joined them, have nothing to fear or regret; rejoicing in God’s grace and bounty. God will not deny the faithful their reward.”
Koran is unequivocal that men are superior to women
Sura 4:34
“Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is high, supreme.”
Sura 2:223
“Women are your fields: go, then, into your fields whence you please. Do good works and fear God. Bear in mind that you shall meet Him. Give good tidings to the believers.”

“Lord, forgive us our sins and remove from us our evil deeds and make us die with the righteous….Those that fled their homes or were expelled from them, and those that suffered persecution for My sake and fought and were flain: I shall forgive them their sins and admit them to gardens watered by running streams, as a recompense from God; God dispenses the richest recompense.”

“Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the hereafter, fight for the cause of God; whoever fights for the cause of God, whether he dies or triumphs, on him We shall bestow a rich recompense.”

“The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan. Satan’s cunning is weak indeed.”

“Therefore fight for the cause of God. You are accountable for none but yourself. Rouse the faithful: perchance God will overthrow the might of the unbelievers. Mightier is God and more terrible is His punishment.”

“They (Muslims who don’t want to fight) would have you disbelieve as they themselves have disbelieved, so that you may be all alike. Do not befriend them until they have fled their homes in the cause of God. If they desert you, seize them and put them to death wherever you find them. Sura 4:91
“Others you will find who seek security from you as well as from their own people. Whenever they are called back to sedition they plunge into it headlong. If these do not keep their distance from you, if they neither offer you peace nor cease their hostilities against you, lay hold of them and kill them wherever you find them. Over such men We give you absolute authority.”
MUSLIMS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
Sura 4:95-96
“The believers who stay at home – apart from those that suffer from a grave disability – are not the equals of those who fight for the cause of God with their goods and their persons. God has exalted the men who fight with their goods and their persons above those who stay at home. God has promised all a good reward; but far richer is the recompense of those who fight for Him: ranks of His own bestowal, forgiveness, and mercy. Surely God is forgiving and merciful.”
BUT ALL OF THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK DO EVIL
Sura 5:62-63
“You see many among them (the People of the Book – Jews & Christians) vie with one another in sin and wickedness and practice what is unlawful. Evil is what they do. Why do their rabbis and divines not forbid them to blaspheme or to practice what is unlawful? Evil indeed are their doings.”
Muslims can force non-Muslims to pay “Jizya” – a tax to have “protection” – i.e., any legal rights – under Islamic government:
Sura 9:29
“Fight against such as of those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe in neither God nor the Last Day, who do not forbid what God and His apostle have forbidden, and do not embrace the truth Faith, until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued.”
Here’s an example of how Hadith amplifies Koran. Here is a portion of a Hadith relating to Jizya:
Our Prophet, the Messenger of our Lord, has ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah Alone or give Jizya (i.e. tribute); and our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says: — “Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e. martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall become your master.”
This is from Volume 4, Book 53, Number 386 of Al-Bukhari’s Hadith, which I found by searching on the word “Jizya” using the search link on the main page of the Bukhari Hadith.
. Muslims can also take non-Muslims captive as slaves, but only after they have made “slaughter in the land.”
Sura 8:67
It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.

“The hypocrites seek to deceive God, but it is He who deceives them.”
How can any Normal person read the Koran with it’s language of pure hate, terror, violence – a blue print of murder, war, slaughter and not immediately realize that these are not the words/teachings of God – not the teachings of God – The Creator of the Universe – a God of Peace and Goodness but the words and teachings of a 7th century Arab chieftain – Muhammad.
Do you believe that God selected an evil murderer Muhammad to create a religion and then commanded that anyone who refused to believe in God’s religion – refused to believe the evil teachings of God and His Messenger – Muhammad must be murdered. That believers in God’s religion have the moral right to murder all human beings who refuse to convert to Islam, rape their wives and daughters, etc and if they are killed in the process of fulfilling 9:111 they will ascend to the immoral and sexually depraved, sick Islamic paradise to rape and molest virgins for all eternity. THIS IS TRUE INSANITY.
To any rational, normal person reading these Kornic verses (and these are just a small sample of the 1000’s and 1000.s of the total teachings of hate, terror, cruelty, depravity etc that are Islam.) the claim by Muslims that they are reading the words, teachings, laws of God is insanity. There is no Islamic fundamentalism, Islamic fascism, political Islam, jihadists etc who have hijacked the religion. There has been no hijacking. These demented souls are following exactly the teachings of the Koran – they are following in the footsteps of their founder – the man of evil – Muhammad. In the end – IT’S ALL ABOUT ISLAM STUPID INFIDEL.

Principle of “eye for an eye”
O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty. In the Law of Equality there is (saving of) Life to you, o ye men of understanding; that ye may restrain yourselves. 2:178-179
Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression. The prohibited month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear God, and know that God is with those who restrain themselves. 2:190-194
Kill disbelievers wherever you find them. If they attack you, then kill them. Such is the reward of disbelievers. (But if they desist in their unbelief, then don’t kill them.) 2:191-2
And slay them wherever you find them and drive them out of places whence they drove you out for persecution is worse then slaughter. 2.191
And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah 2:193
Spend your wealth in Allah’s Cause [fighting infidels]…send such gifts as you can afford.” Qur’an 2:215 “They ask you what they should spend. Say: Whatever they spend is good…. Allah is aware of it. 2:195
War is ordained by Allah, and all Muslims must be willing to fight, whether they like it or not. 2.216
“Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims), though you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and like a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.” [Another translation reads:] “Warfare is ordained for you. 2.216
And they will not cease from fighting against you till they have made you renegades from your religion, if they can. And whoso becometh a renegade and dieth in his disbelief: such are they whose works have fallen both in the world and the Hereafter. 2:217 called for the killing of the apostate
2:243-245 Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands (In number), for fear of death? God said to them: “Die”: Then He restored them to life. For God is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful. Then fight in the cause of God, and know that God Heareth and knoweth all things. Who is he that will loan to God a beautiful loan, which God will double unto his credit and multiply many times? It is God that giveth (you) Want or plenty, and to Him shall be your return. 2:243-245
He said: ‘Would you refrain from fighting if fighting were prescribed for you?’ They said: ‘How could we refuse to fight in Allah’s Cause?’”2:246
Lo! religion with Allah (is) Surrender. 3:19
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).” 3:85
Remember that morning [of Uhud]? You left your home to post the faithful at their stations for battle at the encampments for war. Remember two of your parties were determined to show cowardice and fell away. Allah had helped you at Badr, when you were a contemptible little force.3:121
Remember you (Muhammad) said to the faithful: ‘Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (specially) sent down? Yea, if you remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand havoc-making angels for a terrific onslaught. 3:124
Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to you, a message of good cheer, that your hearts might be at rest. Victory comes only from Allah that He might cut off a fringe of the unbelievers, exposing them to infamy. They should then be turned back overwhelmed so that they retire frustrated. 3:126
If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. 3:140
If you have received a blow and have been wounded, be sure a similar wound has hurt others. Such days We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those who believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyrs. 3:140
This is so that Allah may test the faithful and destroy the unbelieving infidels.” [Another translation proclaims:] “Allah’s object is to purge those that are true in Faith and blight the disbelievers. Did you think that you would enter Paradise while Allah does not know those of you who really fights hard (in His Cause) and remains steadfast? You wished for death before you met it (in the field of battle). Now [that] you have seen it with your own eyes, (you flinch!)3:141
How many prophets fought in Allah’s Cause? With them (fought) myriads of godly men who were slain. They never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah’s Cause, nor did they weaken nor give in. Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast [warriors].” 3;146
Soon We shall strike terror into the hearts of the Infidels, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be in the Fire!” 3:150
Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers for that they joined companions with Allah for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the fire; and evil is the home of the wrong-doers! 3:151
God wanted Muslims to exterminate non-Muslim army: God did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,- until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. 3:152
Behold! You ran off precipitately, climbing up the high hill without even casting a side glance at anyone, while the Messenger in your rear is calling you from your rear, urging you to fight. Allah gave you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for the booty that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you 3:153
Say: ‘Even if you had remained in your houses, those ordained to be slaughtered would have gone forth to the places where they were to slain.” 3:154
If you are slain, or die, in Allah’s Cause [as a martyr], pardon from Allah and mercy are far better than all they could amass. 3:156
What! When a single disaster smites you, although you smote with one twice as great, do you say: ‘Whence is this?’ Say: ‘It is from yourselves.’ What you suffered on the day the armies clashed was by permission of Allah; that He might know the true believers. 3:165
Those who, while they sat at home, said (of their brethren slain fighting for the cause of Allah), while they themselves sit (at home at ease): ‘If only they had listened to us they would not have been killed.’ Say: ‘Avert death from your own selves, if you speak the truth.’ 3:168
Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; (Here Allah is saying that those jihadi who dies [commit suicide] is not dead but he will be living with Allah).
Now, I do not believe that anybody can have slightest doubt that the above clear invitations (from Allah) for the ardent fanatical believers can very easily convince the blind pukka (pure) Muslims to become a time-bomb (suicidal) in order to kill infidels/kaffirs—for the cause of Allah! 3:169
“Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded (in the fight), those who do right and ward off have a great reward. 3;172
Disbelievers will go to Hell. 3:196
Those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens to abide therein and that will be the supreme achievement. But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment. 4:12
“Believers, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority. If you dispute any matter, refer it to Allah and His Messenger. That is best, and most suitable for final determination. 4:59
All who obey Allah and the Messenger are the ones whom Allah has bestowed favors [war booty]. 4:69
Believers, take precautions and advance in detachments or go (on expeditions) together in one troop. 4:71
Let those fight in the cause of God Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of God,- whether he is slain or gets victory – Soon shall We give him a reward of great (value). 4:74
Those who believe fight in the cause of God, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan. Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! a section of them feared men as – or even more than – they should have feared God: They said: “Our Lord! Why hast Thou ordered us to fight? Wouldst Thou not Grant us respite to our (natural) term, near (enough)?” Say: “Short is the enjoyment of this world: the Hereafter is the best for those who do right: Never will ye be dealt with unjustly in the very least! 4:76-77
“Wherever you are, death will find you, even if you are in towers built up strong and high! If some good befalls, they say, ‘This is from Allah;’ but if evil, they say, ‘This is from you (Muhammad).’ Say: ‘All things are from Allah.’ So what is wrong with these people, that they fail to understand these simple words 4:78
He who obeys the Messenger obeys Allah. 4:80
Then fight in God’s cause – Thou art held responsible only for thyself – and rouse the believers 4:84
“What is the matter with you that you are divided about the Hypocrites? Allah has cast them back (causing their disbelief). Would you guide those whom Allah has thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah has thrown aside and led astray, never shall they find the Way. 4:88
What is the matter with you, then, that you have become two parties about the hypocrites, while Allah has made them return (to unbelief) for what they have earned? Do you wish to guide him whom Allah has caused to err? And whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall by no means find a way for him. THEY DESIRE THAT YOU SHOULD DISBELIEVE AS THEY HAVE DISBELIEVED, SO THAT YOU MIGHT BE ALL ALIKE; THEREFORE TAKE NOT FROM AMONG THEM FRIENDS UNTIL THEY FLY THEIR HOMES IN ALLAH’S WAY; BUT IF THEY TURN BACK, THEN SEIZE THEM AND KILL THEM WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE NOT FROM AMONG THEM A FRIEND OR A HELPER. (4:89)
For those who join a group between you and whom there is a treaty, or (those who become) weary of fighting you, had Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. Therefore if they withdraw and wage not war, and send you (guarantees of) peace, then Allah has not given you a way (to war) against them.” [The purpose of terror is to cause people to become so "weary of fighting" they surrender.] 4:90
If the unbelievers do not offer you peace, kill them wherever you find them. Against such you are given clear warrant. 4:91 ( Offering peace in Islam means surrendering. All 67 out of 68 wars of Muhammad were offensive. They are called qazwah (raid, ambush, sudden attack). That is how Muhammad waged his wars. He raided, massacred and looted civilians with no warning. The one defensive war, ‘ditch’ was not fought. That is why the Islamic terrorism ‘jihad’ will continue until the West “offers peace
“You will find others who, while wishing to live in peace and being safe from you to gain the confidence of their people; thrown back to mischief headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and offer you peace besides restraining their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear sanction and authority.” [So if you wish to live in peace, but are perceived as being mischievous (i.e., non-Muslim), Allah has given his Jihad warriors "a clear sanction and authority to seize and kill" you.] 4:91
Believers, when you go abroad to fight wars in Allah’s Cause, investigate carefully, and say not to anyone who greets you: ‘You are not a believer!’ Coveting the chance profits of this life (so that you may despoil him). With Allah are plenteous spoils and booty.” 4:94
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons (sacrifice both life and wealth) than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward. 4:95
“Verily, when angels take the souls of those who die wronging themselves (by staying home), they say: ‘In what (plight or engagement) were you?’ They reply: ‘Weak on the earth.’ Such men will find their abode in Hell, an evil resort!” 4:97
He who leaves his home in Allah’s Cause finds abundant resources and many a refuge. Should he die as a refugee for Allah and His Messenger His reward becomes due and sure with Allah. When you travel through the earth there is no blame on you if you curtail your worship for fear unbelievers may attack you. In truth the disbelievers are your enemy.” 4:100
“When you (Prophet) lead them in prayer, let some stand with you, taking their arms with them. When they finish their prostrations, let them take positions in the rear. And let others who have not yet prayed come – taking all precaution, and bearing arms. The Infidels wish, if you were negligent of your arms, to assault you in a rush. But there is no blame on you if you put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because you are ill; but take precaution. For the Unbelieving Infidels Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment.” 4:102
And do not relent in pursuing the enemy.”4:104
He who disobeys the Apostle after guidance has been revealed will burn in Hell.” 4:114
If anyone contradicts or opposes the Messenger [not Allah] after guidance has been conveyed to him, and follows a path other than the way, We shall burn him in Hell! 4:115
You have been commanded in the Book that whenever you hear Verses of Allah denied, derided, ridiculed, or mocked [as is the only reasoned response], do not sit with them and engage them in this talk or you will be no different from them. Indeed, Allah will collect the Hypocrites and Infidels together and put them all in Hell 4:140
The Hypocrites try to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them. When they stand up performing the prayer, they stand sluggishly, to be seen, but they are mindful of Allah but little. (They are) distracted in mind even in the midst of it, swaying between this and that, one group or the another. Those who Allah causes to go astray and err will not find a way. Believers, take not for friends unbelieving infidels rather than believers [because rational thought is contagious]. Do you want to offer Allah an open proof against you? The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire.4:142
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief (corruption) in the land it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then there came to them Our apostles with clear Signs yet even after that many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. 5:32
Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam Koran 5:33
The punishment of those who pit themselves against Allah and His Messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement, except those who repent before you have them in your power (5:33-34) 5:33
The only reward for those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom… 5:33
Save those who repent before ye overpower them. For know that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 5:34
O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of the approach unto Him, and strive in His way in order that ye may succeed. 5:35
Execution and torture for those who fight against the Muslim armies; As for those who disbelieve, lo! If all that is in the earth were theirs, and as much again therewith, to ransom them from the doom on the Day of the Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. Theirs will be a painful doom. 5:36
They will wish to come forth from the Fire, but they will not come forth from it. Theirs will be a lasting doom. 5:37
Cut off the hands of thieves. It is an exemplary punishment from Allah. 5:38
Stealing should be punished by amputation of hands: As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from God, for their crime: and God is Exalted in power. 5:41
We ordained therein for them: “Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear. Tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal.” (Does this verse sound humane?) 5:45:
Christians will be burned in the Fire. 5:72
Muslims that make friends with disbelievers will face a doom prepared for them by Allah 5:80
Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and beware! 5:92
Allah will torment those how deny his revelations. 6:49
Let the idolaters kill their children. It is Allah’s will. 6:137
Little do you remember My warning. How many towns have We destroyed as a raid by night? Our punishment took them suddenly while they slept for their afternoon rest. Our terror came to them; Our punishment overtook them.” 7:3
“They ask you about the benefits of capturing the spoils of war. Tell them: ‘The benefits belong to Allah and to His Messenger.’” 8:1
Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an. 8:12
During the battle of Badr, something momentous happened: Allah ordered the angels to fight alongside the Muslims and to strengthen their spirits, and He told [the angels] that he would strike terror into the hearts of the infidels. [The Koran says]: ‘Remember thy Lord inspired the angels [with the message]: I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers, I WILL CAST TERROR INTO THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE. THEREFORE STRIKE OFF THEIR HEADS AND STRIKE OFF EVERY FINGERTIP OF THEM. THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ACTED ADVERSELY TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER; AND WHOEVER ACTS ADVERSELY TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER – THEN SURELY ALLAH IS SEVERE IN REQUITING (EVIL). THIS – TASTE IT, AND (KNOW) THAT FOR THE UNBELIEVERS IS THE PUNISHMENT OF FIRE. O you who believe! When you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, then turn not your backs to them. And whoever shall turn his back to them on that day – unless he turn aside for the sake of fighting or withdraws to a company – then he, indeed, becomes deserving of Allah’s wrath, and his abode is hell; and an evil destination shall it be. So you did not slay them, but it was Allah Who slew them and you did not smite when you smote (the enemy) but it was Allah Who smote, and that He might confer upon the believers a good gift from Himself; (8:12-17)
Believers, when you meet unbelieving infidels in battle while you are marching for war, never turn your backs to them. If any turns his back on such a day, unless it be in a stratagem of war, a maneuver to rally his side, he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell, an evil refuge 8:15
It is not ye who Slew them; it is God; when thou threwest a handful of dust, it was not Thy act, but God’s…..” (Allah said, the killing of surrendered soldiers were done by the wish of Allah) 8:17
O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger. Do not turn away from him when you hear him speak. Do not be like those who say, ‘We hear,’ but do not listen. Those who do not obey are the worst of beasts, the vilest of animals in the sight of Allah. They are deaf and dumb. Those who do not understand are senseless. If Allah had seen any good in them, He would have made them listen. And even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away and declined submission.8:20
O Believers! Answer Allah and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life [martyrdom]…. Fear the affliction and trial that awaits those who do not obey. Allah is severe. 8:24
So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world). 8:39
Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily God doth see all that they do. 8:38-39
“If people are obstinate, and refuse to surrender, know that Allah is your Supporter. And know that one fifth of all the booty you take belongs to Allah, and to the Messenger, and for the near relatives (of the Messenger). 8:40
To insure a lion’s share of booty for himself: “And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah, and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy and the wayfarer.” (8:41)
O believers! When you meet an army, be firm, and think of Allah’s Name much; that you may prosper. 8:45
“Be not as those who came from their homes full of their own importance, trying to turn men away from [fighting] in Allah’s Cause. Allah is encircling them. Satan made their acts seem alluring to them, and said: ‘No one can conquer you this day, while I am near you.’ But when the two armies came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: ‘Lo! I am not with you. I see what you cannot. Verily, I fear Allah: for Allah is severe in punishment. 8:47
The angels smite the face and backs of disbelievers, saying: “Taste the punishment of burning!” 8:50
The worst beasts in Allah’s sight are the disbelievers. 8:55
“Verily the worst of creatures, the vilest of beasts in the sight of Allah are those who reject Him and will not believe. They are those with whom you make an agreement, but they break their covenant every time, and they keep not their duty [to fight]. 8:55
If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned. 8:57
If you apprehend treachery from any group on the part of a people (with whom you have a treaty), retaliate by breaking off (relations) with them. The infidels should not think they can bypass (Islamic law or the punishment of Allah). Surely they cannot escape 8:58
The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy. 8:59
Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels. 8:60
But if the enemy inclines toward peace, do you (also) incline to peace, and trust in Allah. Should they intend to deceive or cheat you, verily Allah suffices: He strengthened you with His aid and with Believers.” [The small print is real important. "Should they intend to deceive or cheat" is an open invitation to invoke 8:57 to 60. The first to interpret this surah said:] 8:61
Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power including steeds of war to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides whom ye may not know but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you and ye shall not be treated unjustly. 8:60
The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.8:65
O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence. 8:65
if there are a 100 of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish 2,00, and if a 1,000 , they will vanquish 2,000 (two thousands) with the leave of Allah…” [This fabulous verse was written in the diary of Muhammad Ata the leader of 9/11 terrorists]. 8:66
It is not fitting for an Apostle that he should have prisoners of war until He thoroughly subdued the land….” (Allah insisting Prophet to kill all the prisoners, and should not keep any surrendered prisoners alive) 8:67
“Had it not been for a previous agreement from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that you took as booty. 8:68
But (now) enjoy what ye took in war (booty), lawful and good; but fear God…” (Allah encouraging Muslims to accept booty spoils of war “Maal-E-Ganimat”) Had there not been a previous sanction from God, you would have been sternly punished for what you have taken. Enjoy therefore the good and lawful things which you have gained in war, and fear God. (Surah 8:69)
Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels (non-Muslims) out to the last. 8:7
He will give you mastery over them. 8:71
Those who accepted Islam and left their homes to fight in Allah’s Cause with their possessions and persons, and those who gave them shelter and aided them are your allies. You are only called to protect Muslims who fight. 8;72
The unbelieving infidels are allies. Unless you (Muslims) aid each other (fighting as one united block to make Allah’s religion victorious), there will be confusion and mischief. Those who accepted Islam, left their homes to fight in Allah’s Cause (al-Jihad), as well as those who give them asylum, shelter, and aid – these are (all) Believers: for them is pardon and bountiful provision (in Paradise).” 8:73
“If they violate their oaths and break treaties, taunting you for your Religion, then fight these specimens of faithlessness.” 9:12
Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of believers” 9:14
Do you think you will get away before Allah knows who among you have striven hard and fought? 9:16
Do you make the giving of drink to pilgrims, or the maintenance of the Mosque, equal to those who fight in the Cause of Allah? They are not comparable in the sight of Allah. Those who believe, and left their homes, striving with might, fighting in Allah’s Cause with their goods and their lives, have the highest rank in the sight of Allah.” 9:19
Allah is not bound by any contract or treaty with non-Muslims, nor is His Apostle. 9:30
Prophet) had there been immediate gain (in sight with booty in front of them), and the journey easy – a near adventure – they would (all) have followed you. 9:42
“(How much more seemly) if only they had been content with what Allah and His Messenger gave them, and said, ‘Sufficient is Allah! His Messenger will soon give us His bounty. We implore Allah to enrich us.’ 9:59
Amongst them are men who made a deal with Allah, that if He bestowed on them of His bounty [booty], they would pay (largely) in zakat tax (for Allah’s Cause [Jihad]). But when He did bestow of His bounty, they became niggardly, and turned back (from their bargain), averse (refusing to pay). 9:75
The Messenger and those who believe with him, strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in Allah’s Cause. 9:88
Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods for theirs in return is the garden of Paradise they fight in his cause and slay and are slain a promise binding on him as truth 9.:111
The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.” 9:112
Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood. 9:123
“[The question is]: This violence, ruthlessness and firmness – Is it [meant to be] a permanent law and feature of war, or does it apply only to the early [years of Islam]? The answer [is given in] Koran 9:123, where Allah says: ‘O ye who believe! Fight the infidels who are near to you, and let them find ruthlessness in you, and know that Allah is with the faithful.’ This was one of the last suras to descend, its verses were among the last to descend, and the laws [they set out] are timeless… The perfect Muslim is gentle with his fellow believer and harsh towards his enemy, the infidel…”
O ye who believe! Take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love Infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong”. [Quran is asking Muslims even to go against their own father and brothers in respect of religious faith] 9:23
“Assuredly, Allah did give you victory on many battlefields…. Allah did send down His forces (angels) which you saw not. He punished the Infidels. Such is their reward.9:25
Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax. 9:29
Verse 9:29 forms the basis of the system of dhimmitude prevalent in the Islamic empire, which institutionalised the second-class status of non-Muslims (specifically Christians and Jews) and forced them to pay tribute for ‘protection’:
“Fight those who believe not in God nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, (even if they are) of the people of the Book [Christians and Jews], until they pay the jizya [poll tax] with willing submission, feel themselves subdued.”
FIGHT THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN ALLAH, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, NOR FOLLOW THE RELIGION OF TRUTH, OUT OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE BOOK [Christians and Jews], until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and THEY ARE IN A STATE OF SUBJECTION. (9:29)
“Allah is not bound by any contract or treaty with non-Muslims, nor is His Apostle.” 9:3
NOTE: In other words, it is acceptable to break treaties and obligations with pagans and make war on them whenever strong enough to do so (Qur’an 9:3)

“Believers, what is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allah (i.e., Jihad) you cling to the earth? Do you prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? Unless you march, He will afflict and punish you with a painful torture, and put others in your place. But you cannot harm Him in the least.” 9:38
Unless ye go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. [Allah’s hatred to those who are reluctant to join Islamic jihad] 9:39
“March forth (equipped) with light or heavy arms. Strive with your goods and your lives in the Cause of Allah. That is best for you.” 9:41
“May Allah forgive you (Muhammad). Why did you grant them leave (for remaining behind; you should have persisted as regards to your order to them to proceed on Jihad), until you had known the liars. 9;43
Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day do not ask for an exemption from fighting with your goods and persons. And Allah knows well those who do their duty. 9:44
“Only those ask for exemption (from Jihad) who believe not in Allah and whose hearts are in doubt, so that they are tossed to and fro. If they had intended to march out to fight, they would certainly have made some preparation and readied their equipment; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind. ‘Sit you among those who sit.’ If they had marched with you, they would not have added to your (strength) but only (made for) discord, spying and sowing sedition. There would have been some in your midst who would have listened to them. But Allah knows well those (peace-loving Muslims) who do wrong and are wicked.” 9:45
“They had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for you until the Decree of Allah (to fight) became manifest, much to their disgust. Among them are many who say: ‘Grant me exemption to stay back at home (exempted from Jihad). And do not tempt me (with promises of booty).’ Have they not fallen into temptation already? Indeed, Hell surrounds them.” 9:48
When the sacred months have passed away, THEN SLAY THE IDOLATERS WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE THEM CAPTIVES AND BESIEGE THEM AND LIE IN WAIT FOR THEM IN EVERY AMBUSH, then if they repent and keep up prayer [become believers] and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them (9:5)
Kill those who join other gods with Allah wherever you may find them. (9:5-6)
Those who oppose Allah and His messenger will burn in the fire of hell. 9:63
The Hypocrites enjoin what is forbidden, and forbid what Islam commands. They withhold their hands (from spending in Allah’s Cause [Jihad]). They have forgotten Allah so He has forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are oblivious, rebellious and perverse. 9:67
Allah has promised the Hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers the Fire of Hell for their abode: Therein shall they dwell. It will suffice them. On them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment, a lasting torment.9:68
“How can there be a covenant between Allah and His Messenger and the disbelievers with whom you made a treaty near the sacred Mosque?” 9:7
The Hypocrites swear by Allah that they said nothing, but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they disbelieved after Surrender (accepting Islam). They meditated a plot (to murder Prophet Muhammad) which they were unable to carry out. The reason for this revenge of theirs was the bounty [of booty] with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them; but if they turn back, Allah will punish them with a grievous torment in this life and in the Hereafter.9:74
“Some of you made a deal with Allah, saying, ‘If You give us booty we shall pay You the tax.’ But when He gave them booty, they became greedy and refused to pay. As a consequence of breaking their promises, Allah filled their hearts with hypocrisy which will last forever.” 9:75
“He punished them by putting hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day whereon they shall meet Him, because they lied to Allah and failed to perform as promised. Allah knows their secrets. Those who slander and taunt the believers who pay the zakat (for Allah’s Cause) voluntarily and throw ridicule on them, scoffing, Allah will throw back their taunts, and they shall have a painful doom. Whether you ask for their forgiveness or not, (their sin is unforgivable). If you ask seventy times for their forgiveness Allah will not forgive them.” 9:77
“How (can there be such a treaty), seeing that they get an advantage, the upper hand over you? They do not pay you respect, or honor you or the ties of kinship or covenant. With (good words from) their mouths they entice you (to negotiate), but their hearts are averse to you.” 9:8
“Those who stayed behind rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger. They hated to strive and fight with their goods and lives in the Cause of Allah. They said, ‘Go not forth in the heat.’ Say, ‘The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat.’ If only they could understand! So let them laugh a little, for they will weep much as a reward for what they did. If Allah brings you back (from the campaign) to a party of the hypocrites and they ask to go out to fight, say: ‘You shall never go out to fight with me against a foe. You were content sitting inactive on the first occasion. So sit with the useless men who lag behind.’ Do not pray for any of them (Muhammad) that die, nor stand at his grave. They rejected Allah and disbelieved His Messenger. They died in a state of perverse rebellion.” 9:81
“And let not their wealth or (following in) sons dazzle you or excite your admiration. Allah’s plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and to make sure their souls perish while they are unbelievers. When a surah comes down enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive hard and fight along with His Messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask you for exemption from Jihad. They prefer to be with (their women), who remain behind (at home). Their hearts are sealed and so they understand not.” 9:85
The Messenger and those who believe him, strive hard and fight jihad with their wealth and lives (in Allah’s Cause).9:88
And there were among the wandering desert Arabs men who made excuses and came to claim exemption (from the battle). Those who lied to Allah and His Messenger sat at home. Soon will a grievous torment seize them. 9:90
There is no blame on those who are old, weak, ill, or who find no resources to spend (on Jihad, holy fighting), if they are sincere (in duty) to Allah and His Messenger. 9:91
“The (complaint) is against those who claim exemption (from fighting) while they are rich. They prefer to stay with the (women) who remain behind (at home). Allah has sealed their hearts. They are content to be useless. Say: ‘Present no excuses: we shall not believe you.’ It is your actions that Allah and His Messenger will observe. They will swear to you by Allah, when you return hoping that you might leave them alone. So turn away from them, for they are unclean, an abomination, and Hell is their dwelling-place, a fitting recompense for them.” 9:93
Non-Muslim who pretend to believe (so they won’t be killed by Muslims) are unclean and will go to hell. 9:95
“The Arabs of the desert are the worst in unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger. Some of the Bedouins look upon their payments (for Allah’s Cause) as a fine and wish disasters to fall on you (so that they might not have to pay). Yet on them be the disaster of evil.” 9:97
It is not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs to refuse to follow Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad when fighting in Allah’s Cause), nor to prefer their own lives to his life. They suffer neither thirst nor fatigue in Allah’s Cause, nor do they go without reward. They do not take steps to raise the anger of disbelievers, nor inflict any injury upon an enemy without it being written to their credit as a deed of righteousness. 9:120
It is not proper for the Believers to all go forth together to fight Jihad. A troop from every expedition should remain behind when others go to war. 9:122
On the last day Allah will kill all the disbelievers (and then he will torture them forever in hell). 10:45
Do they not see Us advancing from all sides into the land (of the disbelievers), reducing its borders (by giving it to believers in war victories)? 13:41
Any one who, after accepting faith in God, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith – but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from God, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and God will not guide those who reject Faith. Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes God has sealed up, and they take no heed. Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish. But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 16:106-110
When we decide to destroy a population, We send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then we destroy them utterly. (17:16-17)
Do they see Us advancing, gradually reducing the land (in their control), curtailing its borders on all sides? It is they who will be overcome.21:44
Disbelievers will wear garments of fire, boiling fluid will be poured on their heads, their bellies and skin will be melted, they will be tormented with iron hooks, and when they try to escape they will be driven back with the taunt: Taste the doom of burning. 22:19-22
“..fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem” “for them (the unbelievers) garments of fire shall be cut and there shall be poured over their heads boiling water whereby whatever is in their bowels and skin shall be dissolved and they will be punished with hooked iron rods” 22:19-22
They swear their strongest oaths saying that if only you would command them. They would leave their homes (and go forth fighting in Allah’s Cause). Say: ‘Swear not; Obedience is (more) reasonable.’”24:53
Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good work that He will make them rulers of the earth. He will establish in authority their religion – the one which He has chosen for them. 24:55
“Believers, let your slave girls, and those who have not come to puberty, ask permission (before they come in your presence) on three occasions: before dawn, while you take off your clothes at midday, and after the night prayer. These are your times of undress – times of privacy for you. Outside those times it is not wrong for them to move about: Thus does Allah make clear the Signs.” 24:58
And how many populations we destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty! Now those habitations of theirs, after them are deserted—all but a miserable few! And we are their heirs! (28:58)
Behold! A party among them said: ‘Men of Yathrib! You cannot stand (the attack); therefore go back!’ And a band of them asked for leave of the Prophet, saying, ‘Our houses are bare and exposed,’ though they were not exposed. They intended nothing but to run away.” [In a second translation:] “And verily they had already sworn to Allah that they would not turn their backs (to a foe). An oath to Allah must be adhered to. Say: ‘Running away will not profit you if you are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (you escape), no more than a brief (respite) will you be allowed!’” [A third translation:] “Say: Flight will not avail you if you flee from death, killing, or slaughter. In that case you will not be allowed to enjoy yourselves but a little while. Say, ‘Who will screen you, saving you from Allah if he intends to harm and injure you?’ 33:13
You have in (Muhammad) the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern of conduct for any one to follow. 33:21
The Believers said: ‘This is what Allah and his Messenger promised us.’ It added to their faith, obedience, and submission. Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah and have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting). Some have completed their vow to extreme (and have been martyred) fighting and dying in His Cause, and some are waiting, prepared for death in battle. 33:22
“Allah turned back the unbelievers [Meccans and their allies] in a state of rage, having not won any good, and Allah spared the believers battle. Allah is, indeed, Strong and Mighty.” 33:25
A part [of them] ye slew, and a part ye made captives; (Every male of Quraiza tribe, above the age of 13 were killed, others were made captives) 33.26
Allah made the Jews leave their homes by terrorizing them so that you killed some and made many captive. And He made you inherit their lands, their homes, and their wealth. He gave you a country you had not traversed before.”33:26
Everything Those Infidels Have Everywhere In the World Already Belongs to the Muslims, Take It
And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things. 33:27
It is not fitting for a Muslim man or woman to have any choice in their affairs when a matter has been decided for them by Allah and His Messenger. They have no option. If any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a wrong Path. 33:36
Before taking an ex-daughter-in-law, Zeinab bint Hajash, previously married to his adopted son Zaid, as his seventh wife: “Then, when Zaid had dissolved his marriage with her, with the necessary formality, We (Allah) joined her in marriage to thee in order that, in the future, there may be no difficulty to the believers in the matter of marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved, with the necessary formality, their marriage with them. And Allah’s command must be fulfilled. (33:37)
You may have whomever you desire; there is no blame. 33:51
Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. So believers, send your blessings on him, and salute him with all respect—a worthy salutation. Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger and speak evil things of them—Allah has cursed them and prepared a humiliating torment.” 33:56
“Those who speak negatively of Allah and His Apostle shall be cursed.” 33:57
Those who oppose Islam will be slain with a fierce slaughter. 33:60
Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them and set you over them. Then they will not be able to stay as your neighbors for any length of time. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy – a fierce slaughter – murdered, a horrible murdering.”33:60
“O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, on you, when there came down an army. But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not. Behold! They came on you from above you and from below you, and behold, the eyes became dim and the hearts gaped up to the throats, stupefied with terror, and ye imagined various vain thoughts about Allah!” 33:90
Those who have denied the Book and the message…with chains and shackles round their necks they shall be dragged through scalding water and burnt in the fires of Hell. 40.70
The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from God: for (God) loveth not those who do wrong. But indeed if any do help and defend themselves after a wrong (done) to them, against such there is no cause of blame. The blame is only against those who oppress men and wrong-doing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land, defying right and justice: for such there will be a penalty grievous. But indeed if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs. 42:40-43
Those who believe say, ‘How is it that no surah was sent down (for us)?’ But when a categorical [definite or uncompromising] surah is revealed, and fighting and war (Jihad, holy fighting in Allah’s Cause) are ordained, you will see those with diseased hearts looking at you (Muhammad) fainting unto death. Therefore woe to them! 47:20
“Were they to obey, showing their obedience in modest speech, after the matter (of preparation for Jihad) had been determined for them, it would have been better. Is it to be expected that if you were put in authority and given command that you would do mischief in the land and sever your ties of kinship. Such men are cursed by Allah. He has made them deaf, dumb and blind.” 47:21
And We shall try you until We know those among you who are the fighters.”47:31
“Believers, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. Do not falter; become faint-hearted, or weak-kneed, crying for peace.”
And any treaties with Infidels can be broken anytime for any reason, they have no meaning. 47:33
And be not slack so as to cry for peace and you have the upper hand, and Allah is with you, and He will not bring your deeds to naught. 47.35
‘It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. You desire the frail goods of this world, while Allah desires [for you] the hereafter; and Allah is Mighty and Wise [Koran 8:67]‘… The word ‘prophet’ in this verse appears in the indefinite form, which means that [all] the prophets used to kill many of their enemies by the sword rather than take them captive… Allah says this explicitly [in the following verse]: ‘So when you meet the infidels in battle, then cut off their heads, and after you have killed many of them by the sword, place [them] in shackles, and afterwards either set them free if you choose or let them ransom [themselves] until the war ends 47:4
Verily those who swear allegiance to you (Muhammad), indeed swear their allegiance to Allah. 48:10
“The desert Arabs who lagged behind (in fighting) will say to you (Muhammad): ‘We were engaged in (looking after) our flocks and our families.’ We have prepared for them a Blazing Fire!” 48:11
Those who lagged behind (will say), when you marched forth to capture booty in war: ‘Permit us to follow you. 48:15
Say (Muhammad) to the wandering desert Arabs who lagged behind: ‘You shall be invited to fight against a people given to war with mighty prowess. You shall fight them until they surrender and submit. If you obey, Allah will grant you a reward, but if you turn back, as you did before, He will punish you with a grievous torture.” 48:16
No blame is there on the blind, nor is there blame on the lame, nor on one ill (if he joins not the war): But he that obeys God and his Apostle,- (God) will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and he who turns back, (God) will punish him with a grievous Penalty. 48:17
“He rewarded them with abundant spoils that they will capture. Allah has promised you much booty that you shall take, and He has made this easy for you.” 48:19
If the unbelieving infidels fight against you, they will retreat. (Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah in the past: no change will you find in the ways of Allah.”48:22
“If the Muslims had not been there, We would have punished the unbelievers with a grievous torture. 48:27
It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is God for a Witness. Muhammad is the apostle of God; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. 48:28-29
Those with Muhammad are ruthless toward disbelievers and merciful toward themselves. 48:29
If two parties among the Believers fall into fighting, make peace: but if one becomes aggressive, then fight against the one that transgresses until it complies. 49.9
God has decreed: “It is I and My apostles who must prevail”: For God is One full of strength, able to enforce His Will. 58:21
Obey Allah and His Messenger; and do not dispute! 58:46
Have you not observed the Hypocrites saying to their unbelieving brethren among the People of the Book, ‘If you are expelled [from your homes by the Muslims], we will go with you?’ But Allah is witness that they are liars. If the Jews are expelled, never will the Hypocrites go with them; if they are attacked, they will not help them defend themselves. In truth you [jihadist Muslims] are more fearful and awful (than they) because they are afraid of you. This is a result of the terror (sent) by Allah. They are men devoid of understanding. 59:11
It was Allah who drove the [Jewish] People of the Book from their homes and into exile. They refused to believe and imagined that their strongholds would protect them against Allah. But Allah came at them from where they did not suspect, and filled their hearts with terror. Their homes were destroyed. So learn a lesson, O men who have eyes. This is My warning…they shall taste the torment of Fire.”59:20
Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of God, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses [the unbelievers defeated in battle]. What God has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from them – for this ye made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry: but God gives power to His apostles over any He pleases: and God has power over all things. What God has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to God,- to His Apostle and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Apostle assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear God; for God is strict in Punishment. 59:5-7
As we can see, pillage and plunder is condoned in the Quran as a punishment for non-Muslims who resist Muslim armies. In the verse above, Muhammad even says that wantonly cutting down palm trees of an enemy town is acceptable.
The booty of Banu Nadir belongs to Muhammad; this is because no fighting, either with horses or on foot took place; one must obey Muhammad’s decision (blindly and totally)…59.6
What Allah gave as booty to His Messenger He has taken away from them [the Jews]. For this you made no raid. Allah gives His Messenger Lordship over whomsoever He wills. Whatever booty Allah has given to His Messenger and taken away from the [Jewish] people of the townships, belongs to Allah and to His Messenger…. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. 59:60
Whatever booty goes to Muhammad belongs to Allah; it shall go to the relatives, the poor and the travelling alien; accept whatever booty Muhammad gives…59:70
Believers, shall I lead you to a bargain or trade that will save you from a painful torment? That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and that you strive and fight in Allah’s Cause with your property and your lives: That will be best for you!61:10
Believers, shall I lead you to a bargain or trade that will save you from a painful torment? That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and that you strive and fight in Allah’s Cause with your property and your lives: That will be best for you!” Qur’an 61:12 “He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens under which rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Eden: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement. And another (favor) which you love: help from Allah for a speedy victory over your enemies.”61:11

O Muslims! Be helpers of Allah…We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they prevailed. 61;14
O Muslims, why say one thing and do another? Grievously odious and hateful is it in the sight of Allah that you say that which you do not. Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in a battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.”61.2
Surely Allah loves those who fight in His Cause.” 61.4
Spend out of the substance [booty] which We gave you before death comes and you say, ‘My Lord, why didn’t You give me respite for a little while? I wish I had given (more).’” [The Noble Qur'an footnotes a Bukhari Hadith to explain this verse.] “The Prophet said, ‘Everyday two angels come down from heaven. One says, “O Allah, reward every person who spends in Your Cause.” The other says, “O Allah, destroy every miser. 63:10
Desire for death is the only way to demonstrate true belief
Say: “O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to God, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!” 62:6
Muslims who want the war against non-Muslims to stop are hypocrites
When you look at the Hypocrites, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are pieces of wood propped up. They think every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah is on them! Allah will destroy them. How are they deluded and perverted? 63:4
It is equal to them whether you ask forgiveness or not. Allah will never forgive them. Allah does not forgive the transgressing people. 63:6
They [the hypocrites] are the ones who say, “Spend nothing on those who are with God’s Apostle, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina).” But to God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not. 63:7
So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger (Muhammad). 64:12
Who is he that will send an army to assist you besides Ar-Rahman? 67:20
Allah has prepared chains, manacles, and a raging fire for the disbelievers. 76: 4
JIHAD HOLY WAR LAWS OF ALLAH IN THE KORAN

3. Whereever, you may be, always have a like minded Muslim women’s organisation who can give you even a feeble assistance when you need it. This organisation can have even like minded Muslim men as well.
But, first go for the best of education and see if my suggestions are really in your best of interests. If you don’t feel so, leave it aside without any hesitation. I am not the best of the persons.

Therefore, the home of a married couple is a sanctified centre of spiritual life. The home is their place of worship, prayer and daily meditation. It is truly said that the marriages are made in heaven. Sex is not everything in a marriage.
The home is a sacred arena for the attainment of self-conquest and self-mastery which is more thrilling than conquering a monarchy. Blessed are those couples who lead this divine life, where truth, purity and universal love, mutual trust and compassion constitute the basic foundation of such divine life. Such a house is the abode of God. People may visit such a sacred place for pilgrimage.
In Hinduism, a wedding ceremony at its core is essentially a Vedic yajña (a fire sacrifice), in which the Arian deities are invoked in the ancient Indo-Aryan style. Agni, the fire-deity (or the sacred fire) is the primary witness of a Hindu marriage. By law and tradition, no Hindu marriage is deemed complete unless in the presence of this sacred fire, seven encirclements have been made around it by the bride and the groom together. Divorce is rare amongst Hindus.
In Christianity, the views of marriage historically have regarded marriage as ordained by God for the lifelong union of a man and a woman. The fundamental principal was first articulated Biblically in Genesis 2:24 (Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh). Afterwards, Jesus set forth his basic position on marriage by bringing together two important passages from Genesis (1:27; 2:7– 25). He pointed to the completion of the creation – “male and female he created them”. Then Jesus described marriage as a sacred relationship, a union, so intimate and real that “the two became one flesh”. As persons, husband and wife are of equal value. In truth, they are one.
Then what about Islam and Muslims?
Well, some hopeless pessimists had observed that marriage is a legalized prostitution. This exactly defines the ‘holiness’ of Muslim marriage and the status of married women under Islam. In Islam, through marriage, a man takes the rightful ownership of the ‘meat’ of a woman’s body. Unlike Hinduism and Christianity, marriage is not a binding union in Islam. Here, the idea of association, partnership, or companionship between the married couple is completely absent. The Koran does not view divorce or separation as a tragic option but provide a golden opportunity for man to replace his wife. In Islam, women have no mind, only the ‘meat’ of her body is ‘halal’ for man to enjoy. As per Shahih Bukhari 7.62.173, Wife must shave her pubic hair if husband returns home at night after a long journey.
Nasrin (2007) lamented, “My mother used ‘purdah’. She wore a ‘burqa’ with a net cover in front of the face. It reminded me of the meat-safes in my grandmother’s house. One had a net door made of cloth, the other of metal. But the objective was same – keeping the meat safe”.
During Muhammad and his successors, prostitution diminished for a time (Durant, 1950. p. 220). It’s not because Muhammad had a high regard for women and he worked for the welfare of the fallen women and upgraded their condition. It’s because Muhammad lowered the status of married women to the lowest level of sex-slavery and prostitution. He allowed sexual appetite so many outlets within the Islamic law that the prostitutes became jobless. The shocking truth is that Muhammad viewed women as domestic animals. In his farewell sermon Muhammad equated women to cattle. Tabari (IX:113) recorded (cited Winn, 2004, p. 557) “Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur’an.” As per Sunaan Abu Dawud 11.2155; Women, slaves and camels are same; must seek Allah’s refuge from all these. Muhammad’s teaching was too great. During 2007, a man (of forty years) from Afghanistan first shaved his wife Nazia’s (of seventeen years) head and then cut off her ears, and nose and broke her teeth with a stone, knocked her down and beat her severely until her hands and legs were broken and burnt her feet with boiling water while she fainted, on the first day of Eid ul Adha, an Islamic ritual of sacrifice. Nazia is his second wife. He already killed his first wife. (Hairan, 2007; IRIN, 2007). This is how some Muslims celebrate Eid festival; sacrificing own wife in place of a camel. Camels are costly but women are cheap. In Afghanistan, the husband usually sleeps with all the four wives in the same bed and enjoys sex in full view of non-participant wives.
In Urdu, women are called ‘aurat’ (عورت), which came from the Arabic word ‘awrah’ (عورة). The Arabic word refers to the genitals of a woman’s body, in a simple and straightforward word, which is called the ‘vagina’. It means, the entire body of a Muslim woman is a huge vagina and nothing else (Warraq, 2005. p. 316). How many Urdu speaking Asian Muslims know this fact that for referring their mothers, sisters and daughters, they use a word which actually degrades their women folks?
‘Nikah’ (Muslim marriage, النكاح) is an Arabic word whose literal meaning is penetration (Kaleeby, 2002; Warraq, 2005). It can be pronounced as ‘Nokh’, which again means the ‘awrah’, the giant vagina, i.e, the entire body of a Muslim woman. When the word ‘Nikah’ is used to mean marriage, the actual meaning is not marriage but literally ‘sexual penetration’. Ignorant Muslims often use these words, without knowing their actual meaning and degrade their woman folks to the level of sex-slaves and cheap highway prostitutes.
Kasem (n. d) concluded that the method of securing such sexual / physical pleasure is very similar to a commercial / business transaction. In plain language, this is called prostitution. In all cases of marriage and sex, the women are treated merely as sex-objects, much like the provider of a service for which she must be paid some compensation.
The compensation (dower) for sexual service of the wife is known as ‘mahr’, which all Muslim men must agree to pay before marriage. It can be immediate or deferred to a future date. No Islamic marriage is valid without the payment of ‘mahr’. Sometimes, Muslim women take keen pride in the sums paid for them as ‘mahr’ without knowing the actual purpose of it. In reality, however, ‘mahr’ is nothing but the payment to purchase a female body for sexual enjoyment. This degradation is sanctioned by Allah in ‘Sha’ria’ (the divine law of Allah). So when a Muslim marries off his sister or daughter to another Muslim family, he actually auctions his sister’s or daughter’s soft and warm vagina for a quick financial profit. If the ‘mahr’ is not sufficient, then as per ‘Sha’ria’ Law, the marriage can be cancelled. Often the wife does not get to use the ‘mahr’ for herself. This money is used to furnish the house of the newly married couple or her father grabs the entire amount (Warraq, 2005, p. 311). In an Islamic marriage, there is hardly a trace of romantic love. One rarely finds love poetry in their marriage songs.
Kasem (n. d) furthermore lamented taking reference from an authentic ‘Sha’ria’ Law book, that the husband’s rights include but not limited to ‘…ownership of a woman’s body to do as he likes including beating… a husband possesses full right to enjoy his wife’s person (from top of her head to the bottom of her feet!) in what does not physically harm her… he is entitled to take her with him when he travels.’ Under Sha’ria Law, the husband is not obliged to pay for her medical expenses in case of illness except childbirth (Warraq, 2005. p. 311).
Besides above, Kasem (n. d) continued by taking reference from another book ‘The Hedaya Commentary on the Islamic Laws’. This book is frequently used by Sha’ria lawyers in the interpretation of Islamic laws. It says, “…full dower is the payment for the delivery of woman’s person, ‘Booza’, meaning ‘Genitalia arvum Mulieris’ ”
Kasem (n.d) with disgust concluded, “Yes, you read it correctly. The meaning of ‘Genitalia arvum Mulieris’ is woman’s vagina. The above few sentences clearly meant that a woman sells her vagina in return for the dower. This is a commercial transaction. Make no mistake about it! Period.’’
Though Kasem was blunt in his statement, but truly the Islamic Holy Scripture Al-Hadis is in agreement with him. As per Mishkat al-Masabih, “A woman is like a private part. When she goes out the devil casts a glance at her“.
The divine law of Allah, Sha’ria, does not recognize ‘forced sex’ on women after marriage. There is nothing called marital rape. Once ‘mahr’ is paid, the wife is a legal sex-slave of the man (often next to three other equally helpless wives). In prostitution, a customer does not need to bother about the sexual gratification of the prostitute. Similarly, the sexual desires and preferences of the women are not recognized in Islam. Marital rape incidents are too high in Bangladesh, as Azad (1995, p. 240) lamented, “For a woman, the first night after marriage is the night of forcible sex. In Bangladesh, the number of marital rape incidents is several times higher than any other rapes.”
Elsewhere, Azad (1995, p. 248) again lamented, “Here [Bangladesh], there are single rapes and multiple rapes. Here; father rapes daughter, son-in-law rapes mother-in-law … top executive rapes sweeper of his office, teacher rapes girl student, Imam rapes the kindergarten girl, brother-in-law rapes the sister-in-law, father-in-law rapes daughter-in-law…”[original in Bengali, translated by author].
Islam’s attitude towards women can better be understood from a sixteenth century treatise, The perfumed garden by Shaykh Nefzawi. “Do you know women’s religion is in their vaginas?” Nefzawi asked, “they are insatiable as per as their vulvas are concerned, and so long as their lust is satisfied they do not care whether it is a buffoon, a negro, a valet, or even a despised man. It is Satan, who makes the juices flow from their vaginas” (cited Warraq, 1995. p. 290).
Sha’ria Law permits temporary marriages (Nikah Mutah), though there is a Hadith which prohibits it. Mutah marriage is a type of prostitution in the guise of marriage. Dictionary of Islam defines Mutah as ‘a marriage contracted for a limited period, for a certain sum of money’ (cited Brahmachari, 2008). Though Sunni Muslims have banned Mutah, but it is still widely practiced amongst Shias. Under this system, a Muslim can change his wife everyday. It’s a temporary permit for sexual service and hence a legalized prostitution.
In Hyderabad, a mega-city of India; the Mullahs and Maulvies work as pimps for old Arabs and arrange Mutah marriages (for duration of 15 – 30 days) with the young Muslim girls. After satisfying their lust using these poor Muslim girls and enjoying the Indian hospitality, these heavily rich but morally bankrupt Arabs divorce (Islamic divorce – triple talaq) the girls after robbing them of their virginity and respect and return to their lands as respectable grand-fathers and fathers. In one incident, an old man named Muhammad Zafer Yaqub Hassan al Jorani from Sharjah married Haseena Begum; a 19 year old girl on May 7, 2004 and after two days divorced her. Again on May 24, he married another 16 year old girl Ruksana Begum. Haseena, reported the matter to police and the culprit was arrested together with the shameless Mullah-pimp Shamsuddin who received 40,000 Indian rupees from Jorani. Jorani already had two wives and 11 children back home. As per another report published on Hindu-Voice January 2007 issue (cited Brahmachari, 2008), a 60 year old rich Arab married 3 girls, Afreen, Farheena and Sultana, at a single sitting within ten minutes in Hyderabad.
There are about 35 to 40 reported fake marriages occur every year between rich Arabs and young Indian Muslim girls in Hyderabad. The actual figure is much higher. In fact, the Mullahs start chasing these Arabs right at the International airport of Hyderabad. As soon as an Arab lands at the airport, the Mullah pimps target him and the negotiation starts then and there. Photographs of young girls are shown, financial matters are settled and date and place for such marriages are finalized. It’s a big racket. Their shameful acts remain unknown to their own daughters and grand daughters of equal age back home. What is disturbing is that these Arabs are even rented out rooms made conveniently in the homes of these Maulvies who perform these fake marriages. In some cases these Islamic marriages last only 24 hours (Sheikh, 2005). This is how, using Islam, the Mullahs are promoting Islamic prostitution and filling up their pockets with money. Majhar Hussain, the president of the Confederation of Voluntary Agencies said, “This [Mutah marriage] is turning the young Muslim girls into prostitutes”. (cited Brahmachari, 2008). If this practice keeps on going unabated and these Mullahs are not stopped, then very soon Hyderabad might become the centre of legalized, Sha’ria-approved Islamic whore city, another ‘Brothel Mecca’ of fornication sought by Muslim men mostly from the Arab world. Many Muslims will be seen coming to India for Sex-Hajj (i.e, Islamic sex pilgrimage). Once there is shortage of young virgin girls, Mullahs will probably look for young Muslim housewives to carry on the prostitution.
How many Indian Muslims know these Mullah activities in Hyderabad ? The tragedy is that, Mullahs, the ‘keepers’ of Islam are also the biggest ‘exploiters’ of Islam. Mullahs make money at the cost of the pride of common Muslim’s daughters and sisters.
In Islam, even the breast-milk of a woman does not belong to her and the husband (who purchased her with ‘mahr’) has the lawful right on it. If the adult husband forcefully drinks the milk of his wife under ‘Sha’ria’, the milk is treated as a food and not as foster milk. According to Malik’s Muwatta (Book 30, Number 30.1.11), “Suckling…after the first two years, little or much, it does not make anything haram. It is like food.” As per another Hadith from Malik’s Muwatta (Book 30, Number 30.2.14), a Muslim man is divinely allowed to drink his wife’s milk (or, multiple wives’ milk on choice and test) regularly and still can remain her sex-partner (Truly, a Muslim has a lot of advantages over non-Muslims!). This is the height of stupidity in Allah’s divine law.
Few years ago AIMPLB (All India Muslim Personal Law Board) had formulated the Muslim marriage law. But there were no woman in the board (Sheikh, 2005). In a civilized society, this is unthinkable but in Muslim world it is natural. The “halal meat” of a woman’s body has no individuality, no identity of its own.
As per Sha’ria, a woman can be married at any age even when she is a newly born baby. Khomeini said “A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby” (Paz, 2006). What Khomeini said was ethically wrong but islamically divine. Muhammad, the master of darkness was a sex-maniac. Much had been written about his superb collection of wives (which includes baby Aisha and daughter-in-law Zainab), slave-girls and concubines. The lesser known fact is that, once he was sexually attracted to a crawling baby also. Ibn Ishaq, the earliest and most authentic biographer of the prophet recorded in his book Sirat Rasul Allah.
“…the apostle saw her (Ummu’l-Fadl) when she was baby crawling before him and said, ‘If she grows up and I am still alive I will marry her.’ But he died before she grew up…”
Umar (Khulafa Rashedin, the rightly guided Caliph) followed Muhammad’s footsteps and married Umm Kulthum, the four years old half-sister of Aisha. This is the divinity of Islam. If both Prophet and Caliph are abnormal, how can we blame Khomeini ? Encouraging child marriage is same as advocating child prostitution.
Polygamy is allowed in Koran (4:3). A Muslim can take maximum four wives a time. In India, the Mughal emperor Akbar’s foster brother Mirza Aziz had a brilliant explanation as to why a man needed four wives. ‘A man must marry one woman of Hindustan to rear up children, one wife from Khurasan to do the household work, one woman from Iran to keep company and talk’. And the fourth ? ‘Why? One woman from Transoxiana to whip the other three and keep peace’(Early, 1977 p. 666). Al-Ghazali advices to all Muslims, “If one woman does not suffice, take some more (up to four). If still you have not found peace, change them”.
The laxity in the number of wives and concubines, and freedom of men to marry and remarry, marriage within close relatives etc often make Muslim families to proliferate confusingly. So, when little Munawwar Ali goes to Madrassah for Islamic education; his best identity is; he is one of the twenty children by one of the thirteen wives of Sheikh Abdullah Ali! Large family is one of the reasons for which bulk of the Muslims are poor.
Throughout the history, Muslim rulers used to have a closely guarded wing called ‘harem’. In Arabic a ‘harem’ is a prohibited place where all the ‘begums’ (wives) live – vacuum-sealed world of their own. In plain language these harems are private brothels. In India, the Mughal harem was an immense establishment.
Akbar, the Mughal Emperor had more than 5000 women (Early, 1977. p. 642). Out of this, his private wives numbered only 300 and rest all was concubines. His son Jahangir had more than 1000 wives (Pelsaert, 1972). Ali had 200 wives. Ibn al-Teiyib , a famous dyer of Baghdad, who lived to be 85 years, is reported to have 900 wives, al-Mutawakkil had 400 wives – each of whom had shared his bed one night only (Durant, 1950, p. 222). Muhammad’s grandson Hasan had up to 300 wives. Hasan often married four wives in one sitting and then divorced four wives in one sitting (Kasem, n. d). Muslims have no respect for celibacy. Most Muslim saints are married with a houseful of kids. Durant (1950, p. 220) commented, ‘Perhaps Islam erred in the opposite direction, and carried marriage to the extreme’.
Abul Fazl,(cited Early, 1977 p. 643) had an excellent reason for the support of polygamy – ‘Just as for other people more than one wife is not suitable, so for great persons more are necessary, so that their dwellings may be more splendid, and a large number people may be supported.’
Now the question is, how these people did manage to have so many wives, when only four are sanctioned to each of them. It is very simple, only a little manipulation is required. Allah said in Koran (4:3), “Marry what seems good to you of women, by twos, threes or fours”. This statement was interpreted in different ways by different Koranic scholars – one scholar added two, three and four and got nine wives. Another got a total of 18 wives by doubling two, three and four and added the results (Eraly, 1977. p. 666). Since, in Islam there is no shortage of Koranic scholars, there are many interpretations when fat incentives are given. This is how the number of women in private harems increased.
In the orthodox Muslim families in Middle Eastern countries, the father or the brother might marry off the woman to whomever he wished before she became of age. Love marriages are generally unheard of and prohibited, because in a love-match the villainous man gets too much for nothing. Girls are usually married by the age of twelve, and are mothers at the age of thirteen or fourteen (Durant, 1950; p. 220). Often the groom is not allowed to see the face of his bride before marriage. There are parties, fisting and prayers. After many ceremonies, the husband in privacy of the bridal chamber drew aside of the veil of his wife and pray, “In the name of Allah, the compassionate, the merciful….”. If this belated examination left the groom dissatisfied, he might at once send his wife back to her parents with dowry and search for another bride (Durant, 1950; p. 220).
In general, women have no meaningful life (the situation is not much changed since the time of Muhammad) of their own in Islam. Even at the lowest stratum of society, where gender inequality has little meaning, their life is bleaker than men. Wretchedly poor and undernourished, their health is broken by intermittent childbearing, weighed down by endless drudgery, often in addition to work alongside their men in the field, there was not much more to their lives than bare existence. In Afghanistan and in Bangladesh, more than half of the teenage girls are married. In Iran, Girls often get married when they are only nine (Spencer, 2005). In Bangladesh, 59 percent girls suffer from malnutrition and 10 percent girls suffer from acute malnutrition. (UNDP, 1995).
Even for the middle-class and upper-class Muslim women the situation is same, as Manucci (1989) observed “they [Muslim women] had no cultural interest beyond their blind and routine devotions, had no social life outside the circle of their extended families, no role in the society”
The education of girls, in most ranks of the population, seldom went beyond learning their prayers, a few chapters of the Koran and the arts of home (Durant, 1950; p 221). Liberation of women and education is seen as a threat to male dominance. Omar, the second Caliph said, ‘Prevent the women from learning to write! Say no to their capricious ways’. And again ‘Impose nudity on women, because cloths are one reason for leaving the house’ (Warraq, 2005, p 299). Elsewhere Durant (1950) lamented, “her winsome childhood earned a few years of love, but at seven or eight she was married off to any youth of the clan whose father would offer the purchase price for the bride … she formed the part of the estate of her father, her husband, or her son and was bequeathed with it; she was always the servant, rarely the comrade, of the man. He demanded many children of her, or rather many sons; her duty was to produce warriors. She was in many cases, but one of his many wives. He could dismiss of her at any time at will.” In Pakistan, Islamic fundamentalists are too opposed to education of women. In one lawless five-day period in February, 2004; the fundamentalists burnt down eight girls schools (Spencer, 2005). The Mullahs in Pakistan, while addressing rebellious women in Rawalpindi cautioned, “Let these women be warned, we will tear them to pieces. We will give them such terrible punishments that no one in the future will dare to raise a voice against Islam.” (cited Warraq, 2005. p. 321)
Some medieval theologians thought that Muhammad had invented polygamy, but it is not true, because it antedated Islam by some years (Durant, 1954; p. 39). Muhammad legalized polygamy in his newly established religion and lowered the status of women to the level of prostitutes with divine sanction. As Ascha (1989) concluded, “Islam is the fundamental cause of the repression of the Muslim women and remains the major obstacle to the evolution of their position.”
In cultures that permit polygamy, the youngest co-wife is required to care for elder co-wives. This relationship is sometimes a daughter/mother relationship, but in many cases the elder wives view the younger with bitterness and resentment. In many polygamous relationships, the child bride is treated as an unpaid servant and may never succeed in earning the respect of the elder wives or their children.
In addition to above; domestic violence is the most widespread and common form of violence against women and young girls in Muslim families. Child brides live with older men who expect them to carry out all the duties of an adult woman, even if those responsibilities are too great for a child, let alone a woman. Frequently, the husbands assert their authority in the home through physical violence and consider wife torture a heroic deed. In Egypt twenty-nine percent of married adolescents have been beaten by their husbands; out of this forty-one percent during pregnancy. In Jordan, twenty-six percent of reported cases of domestic violence were committed against wives under eighteen. As per one report by Amnesty International; over ninety percent of Pakistani wives have been mishandled (struck, beaten, or abused sexually) for minor offences like cooking unsatisfactory meal and failure to give birth of a male child (Spencer, 2005). Wife beating is sanctioned by Allah (Koran 4:34). In a Hadith Muhammad advised, “Hang up your whip where your wife can see it” (cited Warraq, 2005. p. 314). In Sudan, the genital passage of the divorced women and widows are closed by stitching keeping a small portion open for menses (Azad, 2005. p. 197).
Even Muhammad raised his violent hand on his child bride, Aisha. It is recorded in Sahih Muslim, Book 004, number 2127 (cited Kasem, 2005) – once while sleeping with Aisha, Muhammad secretly left his bed and went to the graveyard at Baqi; Aisha spied and followed Muhammad; when Muhammad learned Aisha’s misdeed he hit her (beat her) on her chest that caused much pain to her. This divine act of wife-beating is recorded in The History of al-Tabari. Vol. IX, (cited Kasem, 2005). However, the ‘kind’ treatment of women does not end here. Kasem (2005) cited another Hadith from Sunaan Abu Dawud (11.2142) – ‘The Prophet said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife’. Somalia Muslims whip their newly wedded wives on the very first night (Azad, 1995. p. 197; Miles, 1988. p. 89). Merciless beating without any reason is a religious tradition in Somalia.
Fajlur Rahaman referred to one Hadith (cited Azad, 1995. p. 166), which says “even if the husband is a leper and the wife cleans the pus of his wounds with her tongue and swallows the pus, still she is not equal to her husband” (original in Bengali, translated by author).
In pre-Islamic Arabia women were free, happy and respectful. They used to take part in meetings, often attended in court of law with similar equality of man; run business (Khadija, the first wife of Muhammad was a business women and employed several men to look after her business); even fought many battles. Only under Islam they were animalized.
So, this is the status of married women under Islam. No doubt, a comparison of a legally married woman with prostitutes is unethical and of bad taste. It does not reflect well on the author. But, this article is not the product of a sick mind. Every bit of information on this article is true and taken from authentic sources. On the other hand, Muhammad’s and his followers ‘high regard’ for women points to the only conclusion that Islam cannot be a God approved religion. It is because; high status and respect of women and responsibility of a married couple towards each other, to the family and to the society in general; as taught in Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and other established religions; is totally absent in Islam. The plain truth is that, the God of Islam is an invented God. This God is actually a puppet and his only purpose is to legalize any crime in the name of religion. And, no doubt, this God is doing well in his job, ever since it was invented.
In general a Muslim’s attitude towards ‘sex’ is almost same as that of an animal. Marriage is never a sacrament with him; it is frankly a commercial transaction. It never occurs to him to be ashamed that he treats women as prostitutes or animals; he would rather be ashamed of the opposite.
In Islamic nations, much of the married women’s work remains unrecognized and unvalued. Women are constantly under the threat of divorce (Azad, 1995). Often they don’t get enough food to eat from their husbands. In Bangladesh, seventy-seven percent of married women from middle income households and more than ninety-five percent of those from low income households are underweight and malnourished (UNDP, 1995). On top of this, their contribution to the family often goes unnoticed. In Sudan, the time spent for gathering fuel wood has increased fourfold in a decade, which is the duty of a woman. In Mozambique, women spent more than fifteen hours a week just for collecting water for the family (UNPD, 1995). Some Afghani women are compelled to go for grazing around the mountain valleys looking for a blade of grass to feed themselves and their children (Sina, 2001). A recent UN report disclosed that women in Saudi Arabia are the victims of systematic and pervasive discrimination across all aspects of social life (Times, 2008). In Islamic nations, more girls than boys die at young age. Birth of a girl is still seen as a disaster in Muslim societies. Women, who constitute half the global population, definitely deserve a better deal.
Islam seeks power, promotes hate and domination in the name of an imaginary God. In a civilized society, charity begins at home, but in Islamic society; hate and domination begin at home. Probably prostitutes are in a better position than those helpless ‘animals’ called ‘Muslim women’. The greatest task of moral is always sexual regulation. A sense of family value is observed amongst many animals also. Mother is the first ‘Guru’ (spiritual guide) for a child. The child learns the alphabet from his mother. The child learns to speak from his mother. She may make him a saint or a ruler or a rogue. She imparts her virtues to her child with her milk. No society can progress unless their women folks are educated and free. Muslim women should be given education and liberty and then they will bring the required revisions for their betterment. No need for so-called intellectual Muslims to shed endless crocodile tears to try to fool the civilized world. It’s a pity that the Muslims are too spiritually deprived to ever realize this fact.

“Mafhoom”(concept) of what Allah Ta’ala said are that:-
255. Allah: There is no god but He, the
Living, the All-Sustaining. Neither
dozing overtakes Him nor sleep. To
Him belongs all that is in the heavens
and all that is on the earth. Who can
intercede with Him without His
permission? He knows what is before
them and what is behind them; while
they encompass nothing of His
knowledge, except what He wills. His
Kursiyy (Chair) extends to the
Heavens and to the Earth, and it does
not weary Him to look after them. He
is the All High, the Supreme.
256. There is no compulsion in Faith.
The correct way has become distinct
from the erroneous. Now, whoever
rejects the Taghut (the Rebel, the
Satan) and believes in Allah has a firm
grasp on the strongest ring that never
breaks. Allah is All-Hearing, All-
Knowing.
257. Allah is the Protector of those
who believe. He brings them out of the
depths of darkness into the light. As
for those who disbelieve, their friends
are the Rebels. They bring them out
from the light into the depths of
darkness. Those are people of the Fire.
There they will remain forever.
[ Al-Quran, 2:255-257 ]
258. Do you not know the one who
argued with Ibrahim about his Lord,
because Allah had given him
kingship? When Ibrahim said: “My
Lord is the One Who gives life and
brings death,” he said: “I give life and
I bring death.” Said Ibrahim: “Allah
brings the sun out from the East; now,
you bring it out from the West.” Here,
baffled was the one who disbelieved,
and Allah does not bring the
wrongdoers to the right path.
259. Or, (do you not know) the
example of the one who passed
through a town that had collapsed on
its roofs. He said: “How shall Allah
revive this after it is dead?” So, Allah
made him dead for a hundred years,
then raised him saying: “How long did
you remain (in this state)?” He said: “I
remained for a day or part of a day.”
Said He: “Rather, you remained (dead)
for a hundred years. Just look at your
food and your drink; it has not spoiled.
Now look at your donkey. (We did)
this to make you a sign for people!
Look at the bones, how We raise them,
then dress them with flesh.” So, when
it was clear to him, he said: “I know
that Allah is Powerful over
everything.”
260. (Remember) when Ibrahim said:
“My Lord, show me how You give life
to the dead.” He said: “Is it that you do
not believe?’’ He said: “Of course, I
do, but it is just to make my heart at
peace.’’ He said: “Then take four birds
and tame them to your call, then put
on every mountain a part from them,
then give them a call, and they shall
come to you rushing, and know that
Allah is Mighty, Wise.’’
[Al-Quran, 2:258-260 ]
36. And (We sent) to Madyan their
brother Shuaib. So he said, “O my
people, worship Allah and fear the
Last Day, and do not roam about in the
land as mischief makers.”
37. So they gave the lie to him, then
they were seized by the earthquake
and they remained in their homes lying
on their faces.
38. And (We destroyed) Ad and
Thamud, and it is visible to you
through their dwellings. And the Satan
had beautified for them their deeds, so
he prevented them from the (right)
way, even though they were people of
insight.
39. And (We also destroyed) Qarun
and Pharaoh and Haman. Indeed Musa
came to them with clear signs; so they
acted arrogantly on the earth, and were
not (able) to escape.
40. Thus We seized each one of them
for his sin. So to some of them We
sent a violent wind; and some of them
were seized by a Cry; and some of
them We made to sink in the earth;
and some of them We drowned. And
Allah was not to do injustice to them,
but they used to do injustice to their
own selves.
41. The example of those who have
adopted patrons other than Allah is
like the spider that has made a house,
while indeed the weakest of houses is
the house of the spider. If only they
know.
[Al-Quran, 29:36-41 ]
51. Allah is surely my Lord and your
Lord. So, worship Him. This is the
straight path.
52. So, when Isa sensed disbelief in
them, he said: “Who are my helpers in
the way of Allah?” The disciples said:
“We are helpers of Allah. We believe
in Allah; so be our witness that we are
Muslims.”
53. .Our Lord, we have believed in
what You have revealed, and we have
followed the messenger. So, record us
with those who bear witness (to the
Truth).”
54. They (the opponents of Isa )
devised a plan, and Allah devised a
plan. And Allah is the best of all
planners.
55. When Allah said: “O Isa , I am to
take you in full and to raise you
towards Myself, and to cleanse you of
those who disbelieve, and to place
those who follow you above those who
disbelieve up to the Day of Doom.
Then to Me is your return, whereupon
I shall judge between you in that over
which you have differed.
56. As for those who disbelieve, I shall
punish them a severe punishment in
this world and in the Hereafter; and for
them there are no helpers.”
57. As for those who believe and do
good deeds, He (Allah) will give them
their rewards in full. Allah does not
like transgressors.
58. This We recite to you of the
Verses and the Message that is full of
wisdom.
59. Surely, the case of Isa, in the sight
of Allah, is like the case of ‘Adam “
He created him from dust, then He
said to him, “Be”, and he came to be.
60. The truth is from your Lord. So, do
not be of those who doubt.
[Al-Quran, 3:51-60]
85. Whoever seeks a faith other than
Islam, it will never be accepted from
him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be
among the losers.
86. How shall Allah give guidance to a
people who disbelieved after they had
accepted Faith and testified that the
Prophet is true and the clear signs had
come to them? Allah does not give
guidance to the unjust people.
87. The punishment of such people is
that upon them is the curse of Allah, of
the angels and of the human beings
altogether.
88. They will remain under it forever.
Neither will the punishment be
lightened for them, nor will they be
given respite,
89. except those who repent afterwards
and mend their ways. Then, Allah is
All-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.
90. Those who disbelieve after having
accepted Faith and then increase in
disbelief, their repentance shall never
be accepted. They are the ones who
have lost the right path.
91. Those who disbelieve and die as
disbelievers, even an Earth-full of gold
shall never be accepted from any of
them, even if one were to offer it as
ransom. They are the ones for whom
there is a painful punishment, and for
them there are no helpers.
[Al-Quran, 3:85-91 ]
26. And said those who disbelieved,
“Do not listen to this Qur’an, and
make noise during its recitation, so
that you may overcome.”
27. So, We will certainly make them
taste a severe punishment, and will
certainly recompense them for the
worst of what they used to do.
28. That is the recompense of the
enemies of Allah_ the Fire. For them
there is the eternal home, as a
recompense for their persistent denial
of Our verses.
29. And those who disbelieve will say,
“Our Lord, show us the two, out of the
Jinns and the humans, who led us
astray and we will put both of them
under our feet, so that they become
among the lowest.”
30. Surely, those who have declared:
“Our Lord is Allah”, then remained
steadfast, on them the angels will
descend, saying, “Do not fear, and do
not grieve; and be happy with the good
news of the Jannah (Paradise) that you
had been promised.
31. We have been your friends in the
worldly life, and (will remain as such)
in the Hereafter. And for you here is
whatever your souls desire, and for
you here is whatever you call for
32. _ a gift of welcome from the Mostforgiving,
the Very-Merciful.”
33. Who can be better in words than
the one who calls towards Allah, and
acts righteously and says, “I am one of
those who submit themselves (to
Allah).?
34. Good and evil are not equal. Repel
(evil) with what is best, and you will
see that the one you had mutual
enmity with him will turn as if he were
a close friend.
35. And no one is blessed with this
(attitude) but those who observe
patience, and no one is blessed with
this (attitude) but a man of great luck.
36. And should a stroke from Shaitan
(Satan) strike you, seek refuge with
Allah. Surely, He is the All-Hearing,
the All-Knowing.
37. Among His signs are the night and
the day, and the sun and the moon. Do
not prostrate yourselves to the sun, or
to the moon. And prostrate yourselves
to Allah who has created them, if it is
Him whom you worship.
38. Still, if they show arrogance, then
those who are with your Lord proclaim
His purity night and day, and they do
not get weary.
39. And among His signs is that you
see the land inactive; then, once We
send down water thereto, it gets
excited and swells. Surely, the One
who has given life to it is the One who
gives life to the dead. No doubt, He is
powerful to do everything.
40. Surely those who adopt perversity
about Our verses are not hidden from
Us. So, tell me which one is better: the
one who is thrown into the Fire, or the
one who will come safely on the Day
of Judgment? Do whatever you wish.
He is watchful of whatever you do.
41. Surely those who have rejected the
advice (the Qur’an) when it came to
them (are the ones who adopted
perversity, and are not hidden from
Us). And surely, it is an unassailable
book
42. that cannot be approached by
falsehood, neither from its front, nor
from its behind -a revelation from the
All-Wise, the Ever-Praised.
43. Nothing is being said to you but
what has been said to the messengers
before you. Your Lord is certainly the
Lord of forgiveness and the Lord of
painful punishment.
44. Had We made it a non-Arabic
Qur’an, they would have said, “Why
are its verses not clearly explained? Is
it a non-Arabic (book) and an Arab
(messenger)?” Say, “For those who
believe, it is guidance and cure. As for
those who do not believe, there is
deafness in their ears, and for them it
is blindness. Such people are being
called from a distant place.”
45. And We gave Musa the book, then
it was disputed (as well). But for a
word that had already come from your
Lord, the matter would have been
decided between them. They are in
confounding doubt about it.
46. If someone acts righteously, he
does so for the benefit of his own soul,
and if someone commits evil, he does
so against it. Your Lord is not unjust
to His servants.

RAPING SEX SLAVES: THE EVIL LAWS OF ALLAH (the ANTI GOD)
All Muslims believe the Koran is the divine word of God – the laws of God – authored by God Himself. The Koran remains for all Muslims, not just “fundamentalists,” the uncreated word of God Himself. It is valid for all times and places forever; its ideas are absolutely true and beyond all criticism. To question it is to question the very word of God, and hence blasphemous. A Muslim’s duty is to believe it and obey its divine commands without question.
Following are some of the IMMORAL EVIL LAWS NOT OF GOD BUT OF ALLAH (the ANTI GOD) OF RAPING SEX SLAVES. These laws are ETERNAL AND FOR ALL TIME.
As we have already seen – in Islam – rape is not only a sexual weapon – it is a weapon of war. Having murdered the woman’s man, Muslims can now – sanctioned by the law of Allah (the ANTI GOD) complete their final humiliation and domination of her body.
Sura 23 (The Believers), Verses 1-6
23.1-6: Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their prayers, And who keep aloof from what is vain, And who are givers of poor-rate, And who guard their private parts, Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable.
This is the Sura which gives the slave owner the right of sexual access to his female slaves. The term “guarding the private parts” is a synonym for sexual intercourse, and it is said that this is not blameable if indulges with wives and slaves.
Sura 70 (The Ways of Ascent) verses 29-35
70: 29-35 And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess — for these surely are not to be blamed, But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits — And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant And those who are upright in their testimonies, And those who keep a guard on their prayer, Those shall be in gardens, honored.
These verses gives the right to slave owners to have sexual relation with female slaves.
QURAN – 70:22-30: “Not so the worshippers, who are steadfast in prayer, who set aside a due portion of their wealth for the beggar and for the deprived, who truly believe in the Day of Reckoning and dread the punishment of their Lord (for none is secure from the punishment of their Lord); who restrain their carnal desire (save with their wives and their slave girls, for these are lawful to them: he that lusts after other than these is a transgressor…” This verse shows that Muslim men were allowed to have sex with their wives (of course) and their slave girls.
Men can marry up to four women if they treat them equally; unlimited forcible concubines permitted
In Islam, not only are men allowed to practice polygamy, but they may also capture women in war and use them as sex slaves. This is considered morally legitimate according to the Quran. In other words, non-Muslim women have no right to be free from the horror of slavery and serial rape by Muslim military men. Note The term “ whom your right hand possess” means slaves.
4:3 Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.
4:24 Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess
4:24 And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, so that ye seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock, not debauchery. And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their portions as a duty. And there is no sin for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty (hath been done). Lo! Allah is ever Knower, Wise.
All married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.”
You can’t have sex with married women, unless they are slaves obtained in war (with whom you may rape or do whatever you like).
4:25 If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess
23:1,5-6 The believers …. abstain from sex, Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,
70:29-30,35 And those who guard their chastity, Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed, … Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss).
Muhammad can go beyond the four-wife restriction, can treat his own wives and sex slaves unequally
33:50-52 O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom God has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And God is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction – that of all of them – with that which thou hast to give them: and God knows (all) that is in your hearts: and God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and God doth watch over all things.
This verse is for Muhammad. ALLAH (the ANTI GOD) allows Muhammad to own and rape his slave girls.
The above verses are only a few out of numerous such verses scattered throughout the Quran. What could be more unethical than owning slaves and raping slave girls? ALLAH (the ANTI GOD) graciously allowed Muslims to own and rape slave girls. Prophet Muhammad himself and his disciples routinely raped their slave girls. Muslims were permitted unlimited raping of their slaves and even gang rape. Sex slaves were one of the main factors in the spread of Islam. This is the evil that is Islam.
FROM THE HADITHS
Bukhari (62:137)- An account of women taken as slaves in battle by Muhammad’s men after their husbands and fathers were killed. The woman were raped with Muhammad’s approval.
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
We got female captives in the war booty and we used to do coitus interruptus with them. So we asked Allah’s Apostle about it and he said, “Do you really do that?” repeating the question thrice, “There is no soul that is destined to exist but will come into existence, till the Day of Resurrection.”
Bukhari (34:432)- Another account of females taken captive and raped with Muhammad’s approval. In this case it is evident that the Muslims intend on selling the women after raping them because they are concerned about devaluing their price by impregnating them. Muhammad is asked about coitus interruptus.
Bukhari (59:637)- “The Prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid,’Don’t you see this (i.e. Ali)?’ When we reached the Prophet I mentioned that to him. He said,’O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?’ I said,’Yes.’ He said,’Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumlus.’”
Muhammad approved of his men having sex with slaves, as this episode involving his son-in-law, Ali, clearly proves. This hadith refutes the modern apologists who pretend that slaves were really “wives,” since Muhammad had forbidden Ali from marrying another woman as long as Fatima (his favorite daughter) was living,
Abu Dawud (2150)- “The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur’anic verse:(Sura 4:24)’And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.’” This is the background for verse 4:24 of the Qur’an. Not only does Allah (the ANTI GOD) grant permission for women to be captured and raped, but allows it to even be done in front of their husbands.

“Mankind and the deception by shaitan”, about this Allah Ta’ala has mentioned in Al-Quran whose “Mafhoom” is given below:-
1. Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad.
2. (This is) a book sent down to you.
Therefore, your heart must not be
straitened because of it. (It is revealed
to you) so that you may warn through
it, and it may be an advice for the
believers.
3. (O humankind,) follow what has
been sent down to you from your
Lord, and do not follow any masters
other than Him. Little you heed to
advice!
4. How many a town We have
destroyed! Our punishment came upon
them at night or when they were
having a nap at midday.
5. So, when Our punishment came
upon them, they could say nothing but
cry, “We were wrongdoers indeed.”
6. So, We shall ask those to whom the
messengers were sent, and We shall
ask the messengers (how they
conveyed the message).
7. Then, having full knowledge, We
shall tell them the whole story, as We
were never far from them.
8. The Weighing (of deeds) on that
day is definite. As for those whose
scales are heavy, they will be the
successful ones.
9. But those whose scales are light,
they are the ones who have brought
loss to themselves, because they did
not do justice to Our verses.
10. We established you on earth, and
created in it means of living for you.
Little you appreciate.
11. We created you, then gave you a
shape, then We said to the angels,
“Prostrate yourselves before ‘Adam.”
So, they all prostrated themselves,
except Iblis (Satan). He did not join
those who fell prostrate.
12. Allah said, “What has prevented
you from prostrating when I ordered
you?” He said, “I am better than him.
You have created me of fire, and
created him of clay.”
13. He said, “Then, get you down from
here, it is not for you to show
arrogance here. So, get out. You are
one of the degraded.
14. He said, “Then give me respite
until a day when all will be
resurrected.
15. He (Allah) said, “You are granted
respite’’.
16. He said, “Now that You have led
me astray, I will certainly sit for them
(in ambush) on Your straight path.
17. Then I will come upon them from
their front side and from their behind,
and from their right and from their left.
You will not find most of them
grateful.
18. He (Allah) said, “Get out of here,
condemned, rejected. Indeed,
whosoever will follow you from
among them, I will fill Hell with all of
you together.
19. O ‘Adam, dwell, you and your
wife, in Paradise, and eat from
wherever you like, but do not go near
this tree, otherwise you shall join the
transgressors.”
20. Then Satan whispered to them, so
that he might expose to them their
shame that was hidden from them; and
said, “Your Lord has not prohibited
this tree for you, but to avoid your
becoming angels or your becoming
eternal.”
21. He swore an oath, “I am one of
your well-wishers.”
22. Thus, he cast both of them down
by deception. When they tasted (the
fruit of) the tree, their shame was
exposed to them, and they began to
patch together some leaves of Paradise
upon themselves, and their Lord called
them, “Did I not forbid you from that
tree? Did I not tell you that Satan is
your declared enemy?”
23. They said, “Our Lord, we have
wronged ourselves, and if You do not
forgive us and do not bless us with
mercy, we shall, indeed, be among the
losers.
24. He said, “Go down, some of you
enemies of some; and for you on the
earth there will be a dwelling place
and enjoyment for a time.”
25. (Further) He said, “There you shall
live and there you shall die, and from
there you shall be raised again.”
26. O children of ‘Adam, We have
sent down to you the dress that covers
your shame and provides adornment.
As for the dress of Taqwa (piety), that
is the best. That is one of the signs of
Allah, so that they may learn a lesson.
27. O children of ‘Adam, “Do not let
Satan put you in trouble the way he
had your parents expelled from
Paradise, having their dress removed
from them, so that he could show them
their shame. Indeed, he sees you _ he
and his company _ from where you do not
see them. Surely, We have made
the devils friends to those who do not
believe.
28. When they do a shameful act, they
say, “We have found our fathers doing
it, and Allah has ordered us to do so.”
Say, “Allah never orders anything
shameful. Do you say about Allah
what you do not know?”
29. Say, “My Lord has ordered me to
do justice.”Set your faces aright on
each occasion of prostration, and pray
to Him with pure faith in Him. Just as
He has originated you, so you will be
raised again.
30. He has led a group to guidance;
and established for another group is
misguidance. Indeed, they have taken
the devils for their friends, instead of
Allah, and they think that they are on
the right path.

I have already posted many articles in last week of September and first week of October 2012. I have no much time to involve such nonsense discussions. But as I visited this site after a long time so I wanted to post this very important article:-
I think most of these stories are deceiving and all either fake or real stories of muslim girls, they are being posted to excite to mislead the muslim females who have very little and incomplete knowledge about Islam.
I am one of the Muslims and its my duty to bid the fair and forbid from evil so please read the lines written below carefully:-
“Mafhoom”(concept) of what Allah Ta’ala said are that:-
15. Whoever adopts the right path
does so for his own benefit, and
whoever goes astray does so to his
own detriment, and no bearer of
burden shall bear the burden of
another, and it is not Our way to
punish (anyone) unless We send a
Messenger.
16. And when We intend to destroy a
habitation, We command its affluent
people (to do good), then they commit
sins therein, and thus the word (of
punishment) becomes applicable to it
(habitation), and We annihilate it
totally.
17. How many a generation have We
destroyed after Nuh! And enough is
your Lord to know, (and) watch the
sins of His servants.
18. Whoever opts for the immediate
(benefits from) life herein, We give
him, right here in this life, as much as
We will, to whomever We intend.
Then We assign Jahannam for him
where he shall enter condemned,
discarded.
19. And whoever opts for the
Hereafter and makes efforts for it as
due, while he is a believer, then, the
effort of such people is appreciated!
20. To all of them -both these and
those -We extend the grants of your
Lord. And the grant of your Lord is
not barred (for anyone).
21. See how We made some of them
excel some others (in this world) and,
of course, the Hereafter is much higher
in ranks and much greater in degrees
of merit.
22. Do not set up any other god along
with Allah, otherwise you will sit
condemned, forsaken.
23. Your Lord has decreed that you
worship none but Him, and do good to
parents. If any one of them or both of
them reach old age, do not say to
them: uff (a word or expression of
anger or contempt) and do not scold
them, and address them with respectful
words,
24. and submit yourself before them in
humility out of compassion, and say,
“My Lord, be merciful to them as they
have brought me up in my childhood.”
25. Your Lord knows best what is in
your hearts. If you are righteous, then
He is Most-Forgiving for those who
turn to Him in repentance.

Please read the following comments of Taslima Nasreen.
I was born in 1962 to a Muslim family in a small town called Mymensingh in what then was East Pakistan. Now, after it gained its independence, the country is called Bangladesh.
My childhood was not much different from that of other girls of my generation. Like other girls of a middle-class family, I was sent to a coeducational school until I reached the age of seven. When eight, I had to go to a girls’ school. From 6th to 10th grades, coeducational schools were not open to girls. After 10th grade, I went to a girls’ college. My father disapproved of my going to a coeducational college where boys were, but he had no alternative when he decided that I should study medical science. My father, I should add, was different from other fathers.
Girls frequently dropped out of school when they were fifteen or sixteen, ages at which they often were given into marriage by their parents. Few girls had a chance to continue their studies, for after an arranged marriage they were not allowed to continue studying in school or college or university nor could they take a job. They became totally dependent upon their husbands, in other words.
It was usual for us children, in the early morning, to read the Koran in Arabic, and like all other children in Bangladesh I did this. But I found myself asking questions. I wanted to know what I was reading, what the meaning of the Koranic verses was. Our language is Bengali, not Arabic, and it was impossible to know the meaning of the verses that we read. We just read, that’s all. When I asked Mother to tell me the meaning of what I was reading, she explained that the meaning is not important, that what is important is that Allah will be happy that I am reading the Koran in its original language.
When I was thirteen or fourteen, however, I found a book that translated the Koran into Bengali. To my surprise, I found Allah saying that men are superior, that women are inferior. Men can have four wives. Men can divorce their wives any time they want. Men are allowed to beat women. Women are not allowed to give testimony in some legal cases. Women are not allowed to inherit the property of their father equally with their brothers. Women are supposed to wear veils.
Islam does not consider woman a separate human being. Man was the original creation and womankind was created secondarily for the pleasure of man. Islam consider a woman as a slave or sexual object, nothing more. Women’s role is to stay at home and to obey her husband, for this is her religious duty. Women are considered weak, so they should be taken care of, their body and mind, their desire and wishes, their rights and freedom must be controlled by men. Islam treats women intellectually, morally and physically inferior. In marriage, Islam protects the rights of men and men only. Once the marriage is consummated, women have no rights whatsoever in this field. The Koran gave total freedom to men saying ’ Your women are as your field, go unto them as you will ( 2.223)’
Women are told to run to their husbands wherever they are, whatever they do. It is their duty. The hadith says that two prayers that never reach the heavens are 1. those of the escaping slaves and 2. those of the reluctant woman who frustrates her husband at night.
Islam considers women psychologically inferior. Women’s testimony is not allowed in cases of marriage, divorce, and hudud. Hudud are the punishment of Islamic law for adultery, fornication, adultery against a married person, apostasy, theft, robbery, and so forth. If any woman is raped, she has to produce four male witnesses to the court. If she cannot, there is no charge against the rapist. In Islamic law, the testimony of two women is worth that of one man. In the case in which a man suspects his wife of adultery or denies the legitimacy of the offspring, his testimony is worth that of four witnesses. A woman does not have the right to charge her husband in a similar manner.
Women are not allowed to inherit the property equally with their brothers. In the case of inheritance, Allah says, a male shall inherit twice as much as a female( 4.11-12)
And after all the rights and freedom, after getting all the sexual pleasure and pleasure of being the master, Allah will reward the men with wine, food, and seventy two virgins in Paradise, including their wives of the earth. Allah said, Eat and drink happily, in return for your works. They relax on luxurious furnishings, and we match them with beautiful virgins( 52.19-20).near them, shall be blushing virgins with large beautiful eyes who will be like hidden pearls. ( 37.48-49)
And what is the reward for the pious woman? Nothing. Nothing but the same old husband, the same man who caused her suffering while they were on earth.
I was a student of science, so it was hard to accept that the sun moves around the earth, that the moon has its own light, and that the purpose of mountains is to support the earth so it will not fall down somewhere. I came to suspect that the Qur’an was not written by Allah but, rather, by some selfish greedy man who wanted only his own comfort. Then I read the Hadith, the words of Muhammad. I found different events of Prophet Muhammad’s life in which, when he had problems, Allah solved them right away. For example, he was sexually aroused by seeing his daughter-in-law, so Allah sent him a message saying he could marry her because his son was adopted and not a real son, so the marriage was therefore justified. Further, he created a new rule, that Muslims would not be allowed to adopt any child. Muhammad married thirteen times, one of his brides being six-year-old Ayesha. Allah, he said, told him that he was allowed to enjoy his wives, his female slaves and all the captive women he had . He put Ayesha in a veil because he was jealous and did not want his friends looking admiringly at her. Allah, he said, told his friends that they should not go to the Prophet’s house any time they want but if they go, they should not look at any of his wives or ask any of them for something. He was so jealous that he introduced the veil for his wives and, ultimately, for all Muslim women. Even though widow-marriage was legal, he made it illegal for men to marry any of his own wives when he himself died. It became clear to me that Muhammad had written the Koran for his own interest, for his own comfort, for his own fun. So I stopped believing in Islam. When I studied other religions, I found they, too, oppressed women. When I stopped practicing religion and made some offensive comments about religion to my mother, she became both nervous and furious, sure that I would go to Hell, and she started praying for me.
My father, a physician, had a scientific outlook but was very domineering. He did not allow me the freedom to play, to go outside, to meet friends, to go to the cinema or theatre, or to read any book that was not in a syllabus. He wanted me to earn a medical degree so he could say that one of his children followed his path. On the one hand, he wanted me to be independent, but on the other hand he wanted to find a good match for me inasmuch as educated men often desire an educated wife.
As I grew up, I kept observing the condition of women in our society. My mother, for example, was a perfect example of a woman oppressed. She had been given into marriage when she was but a child, she was a good student in school, but she was not allowed to continue her studies. My grandfather and my father did not want her to study, for what they wanted was for her to be a good housewife, a good mother, a good caretaker. She was unhappy from the first day of the marriage. My father never loved her, he was promiscuous, and she knew that he had affairs with other women. In frustration, she sought refuge in religion. Unloved and not respected by her husband, she became religious. As a result, I came to think that this was foolish and unworthy of a mother. Although I was supposed to respect both my parents, I could not. I could not respect my father’s being such a cruel and brutal person. Throughout my life, he beat me, even when I was thirty years old! He loved to beat children, his theory being that unless children were beaten they would become spoiled. He had come from an illiterate, poor, farm family, yet had succeeded in becoming a medical doctor.
In our house, I grew up with much fear, having to keep inside my heart all my desire for freedom and curiosity for the outside world. I was not allowed to step outside the house except to go to my school or college. As a result, I developed a passion for reading books, fiction, poetry, essays, anything. But I had to hide the books from my parents. And I had another passion: to write poetry.
Growing up, I naturally had the belief that girls surely must be inferior to boys, for boys could play in a big field whereas girls had to play with their dolls in a corner of the house. My brothers could go anywhere they wanted, could watch any games, could play anything they wanted to play. I could not. My sister could not. I was told that girls were not made for such, that their role was to stay home, learn how to cook, make beds, clean the house. My mother was not the only woman who was oppressed, for I saw my aunts, my neighbors, and other acquaintances who were playing the same roles, that of being oppressed. In our minds, torture of women was not oppression but, rather, was tradition. We become accustomed to tradition. As I grew, I realized that I was a part of the tradition but also that I was being oppressed the same as my female classmates and, later, my female patients. Whether they were poor or rich, beautiful or ugly, had blue or black or brown eyes, had white, black or brown skin, were unmarried or married, illiterate or literate, clever or stupid, all were oppressed. Everywhere women were oppressed. And all because of male-devised patriarchy, religion, tradition, culture, and customs.
Nobody told me to protest, but I developed a strong feeling that it was important to fight against oppression. Nobody asked me to shed a tear, but I did. When I started writing prose that was published weekly in the newspapers, I found my protests got the attention of readers, that people either hated me or they loved me. I became accustomed to receiving extreme hate and extreme love letters. One by one, my books got published. Not only publishers but also newspaper editors wanted me to write. With perseverance, I became a best-selling author.
However, those who hated what I wrote developed demonstrations against me, and people began protesting by marching through the streets. In 1992 at a national book fair, my books were publicly burned, and I was thrown out of the event. A ”Smash Taslima Committee” commenced, and I was not allowed to visit the book fair any more because the fair’s leaders said my books were causing the problem. In 1993 I returned, but this time the fundamentalists and an angry mob assaulted me publicly, breaking into the bookshop where my books were kept. I may have received the biggest literary award, but at the same time I received the biggest hate campaign ever. The government then confiscated my passport, asking me not to write any more if I hoped to keep my job as a medical doctor in a public hospital. In protest, I quit the job. My passport, however, was not returned until a year later when a human rights campaign outside Bangladesh’s borders successfully pressured the government.
I continued writing. In my poetry, prose, and essays, novels I have defended women and the minority community that is being oppressed. I cried loudly for equality and justice, justice for all people whatever their religion or gender. I spoke loudly upon behalf of secularism. I spoke against any religious laws in which women are oppressed. My book was banned by the government.
Women continue to be flogged, they are stoned to death. Women are raped, are accused of allowing the rape, and the rapists are set free. Women have been suffering from trafficking, from slavery, from all sorts of discrimination. Men have thrown acid on women’s faces and walked away as happy men. Women are not considered as human beings, not by religion, not by so-called tradition. For a couple, the most unwanted thing is a female baby. If a female baby is born, either the wife gets a divorce for her crime of having given birth of a female or the wife must spend her life with disgrace. By writing books, I wanted to do something constructive, I wanted to help women understand that they are oppressed but do not need to be. I wanted to encourage them to fight for their rights and freedom. My voice, however, gave women the chance to think differently. That, however, did not make the religionists or the male chauvinists happy. As a result, the fundamentalists took the stand of absolutely not tolerating any of my views. They objected to a woman’s breaking the chains and becoming free, and they could not tolerate my saying that the Qur’an is out of place, out of time, and that secular law with a uniform civil code for women is a necessity. Extremists broke into newspapers’ offices, sued my editors, publishers, and me. They demanded my execution by hanging. Hundreds of thousands people were on the street. They called a general strike all over the country, insisting that I be killed. The government, instead of taking action against them, took action against me. They filed a case against me, charging that I had hurt the religious feelings of the people. I had no other alternative but to go into hiding. While in hiding, I was fortunate in receiving the support of the western democratic governments, feminists, and human rights organizations. They literally helped to save my life. Actually I thought it would be killed, for daily I saw mobs of people demanding my death. Police looked everywhere for me, knowing that the fundamentalists wanted me dead. Anyway, I survived. The government threw me out of the country. Since then, I have been trying to go back to my country, but it is impossible. I am not allowed to go back to my country.
Meanwhile, three of my books are banned in Bangladesh. I have written twenty-four books, and cases have been filed against me in order to ban the other books. Recently, a Bangladesh court sentenced me to one year in prison for having written what I did. Everything is because of religion. Because of religion, there is bloodshed, bloodshed everywhere. Because of religion there is hatred among people. Because of religion there is ignorance all over the world. Because of religion there is illiteracy, there is poverty. Because of religion there are injustices and inequalities. Because of religion millions of women have been suffering, they are flogged, they are burned, they are stoned to death. Because of religion, my books are burned and banned. Because of religion I was thrown out of my country. But we can do something, we eliminate all the problems of humanity which are caused by the belief in God. It is dangerous to follow the religious scriptures in this modern world. Not only the Koran, all the religious scriptures are out of time, out of place.
Both the Judeo-Christian bible and the Koran clearly accept and condone slavery. Jesus explicitly tells slaves to accept their roles and obey their masters. No one in the world today would defend chattel slavery in any public forum or allow its under any legal code. Neither fundamentalist Christians nor orthodox Jews talk about animal sacrifice or slavery. In those countries in which Sharia law exists, where stoning for adultery and amputation for stealing are legalized, no legitimization of slavery is ever mentioned. Polygamy and use of concubines are clearly accepted in the old testament but no where in the Judeo Christian world are either of these practices legalized. Thus, insistence of continuation of practices which denigrate, oppress and suppress women under the guise of scriptural reference is a hoax. Such practices could and should be de legitimized as chattel slavery has been de legitimized.
I have been writing about all this. But my freedom of expression have been continuously violated by the authority. I could not reach the readers of my country. My latest book my girlhood is banned in my country. My autobiography, I realize , is not just my life story. It is the same story that thousands of women know about. It tells how Muslim women live in a patriarchal country that has hundreds of traditions in which girls and women suffer. I have looked back into my childhood days and described the life of being a female child, told how I was brought up, explained that I had privileges that many others did not have. I was able to study and become a medical doctor, something which thousands of girls cannot even dream about. I wanted to show where and how I grew up and what made me think differently, what made me do things differently. It is important to give other women some strength to revolt against the oppressive system that I grew up under and which still continues for them. I told the truth. I expressed everything that happened in my life. Normally it is taboo to reveal rape or attempted rape by male members of one’s family. Girls shut their mouth, because they are terribly ashamed. But I did not shut my mouth. I did not care what people would say to me or to my family. I know well that many women feel that I am telling their untold stories, too. We, the victims should cry out loud. We need to be heard. We must protest loudly and demand our freedom and rights. We must refuse to be shackled, chained, beaten and threatened. We have only one life, and we demand to live it in happiness.
If women do not fight to stop being oppressed by a shameful patriarchal and religious system, then shame on women! Shame on us for not protesting, for not fighting, for allowing a system to continue that will affect our daughters.
My story is not a unique one. My experiences, unfortunately, have been shared by millions of fellow sufferers. In my book, I cried for myself. I also cried for all the others who have not been able to enjoy the productive life of which they are capable and which they most assuredly deserve! We who are women no longer must remain solitary, crying softly in lonely places.
I do not regret for what I have done so far, for what I have ever written. Come what may, I will continue my fight against all the evil forces without any compromise until my death. I am all the more committed and all the more determined to my cause.

By doing so, one is not helping any Muslim but they are making Non-Muslims the victims of Islam and Muslims. This is very simple logic.

when people are dealing with an inter faith relationship, and posting on this website, they HAVE ALREADY been in the relationship couple of years, and are on crossroads of marriage.
At this time, you should give them advice on how to live the happiest life by taking into account the sensitive religious beliefs of both partners, ensuring that each retains their identity, for a healthy and successful wedding. This is not the time to say – muslims are good, hindus are bad, buddists are bad, etc. It’s the time to advice people on how to have an inter faith marriage with equality, retaining their identity and religion, with MINIMUM hurt to both families.

Most of the Muslims are Muslims because they have taken birth in a Muslim family. How would you rate them? Most of them are just cultural Muslims i.e. they follow part of the Arabian culture (Nothing against any Muslim) as inherited by their ancestors. Some of them silent supporters to the warriors of Muhammad but many of them are the oppressed. I consider the Muslim women as the oppressed ones. There has not been any Muslim Khalifa, Maulavi/Mullah of a stature and most importantly any Prophet. They must be rescued. The real culprits are:
1.Maulvis propagating Male chauvinism and all the ills of Islam such
as polygamy, girl child marriage, Burqa/Niqab circumcision etc.
2.Warriors of Muhammad i.e Terrorists and the Love Jehadis
3.Educated Male Muslims, Indian Secularists and Human right activists
Propagating/helping the above two in their mission.
All like minded and the humanists should make sure they don’t fall in

According to most opinion polls Pew opinion poll), near 90% of Muslims in Pakistan and Egypt have said that it is good that Islam plays a major role in their countries. (There is an interesting twist to this, I will write about it later.)
(Egypt)It is based on these polls and our knowledge of Islam, we predicted the out come of elections in Egypt, and main stream media overlooked all these. In the end, Islam based politically parties secured 80% of votes which means 90% of Muslims have voted for Islam based political parties.
If you look at this figure ’90%’, it is sure that most Muslim women themselves want Islam to play a larger life. I hope you see this.
Similarly, 80% of Muslims in Pakistan and Egypt support death penalty for apostates i.e. Muslims who leave Islam. So much so for compatibility of Islam and Secularism.
I am pretty sure about this: when it comes to views about Non-Muslims, I am damn sure that near 100% will say that infidels are like animals (bad people without any morals and ethics) as they refer to them as Kafirs.

Admin is one of those who believes in fantasy of possibility of many interpretations of Koran. Even believer in God holds on to this view.
Few days back, I wrote this: Are Muslim clerics responsible for Islamic extremism by misinterpreting Koran? Is there moderate Islam?
Now, concept of moderate Islam is different from concept of moderate Muslims.
There is no moderate Islam. It is delusion. Now what about existence of moderate Muslims?
Satyen says, “There are great Muslims and you just have to take Islam from their lives.” and refers to Muslims, romantically, as Mohammad’s warriors.
Look at this: We all know that Nazism is bad. Communists are murderous.
So, how would it look like if I write in the following manner:
Not all Nazis are bad.
Not all Communists are bad.
Not all fascists are bad.
Coming to concept of moderate Muslims, the problem is manifold. I will not make a massive case here, but I will raise some key points.
1. How will you distinguish moderate Muslims from radical Muslims?
2. Who is a moderate Muslim? A Muslim who is not in to terrorism? A Muslim who has not taken to violence?
3. A Muslim out of his inability to or out of his reluctance to take part, because of risks, in violence is a moderate Muslim?
4. A Muslim who said that he condemns Islamic terrorism to the face of infidels?
Here, I need to make a point: According to Koran, there is no need for every Muslim to take part in violent Jihad – Jihad by life (verse 9: 122). And many other verses say contributing to Islamic cause (i.e. making Islam superior in this world) by donating money is equally Jihad (Jihad by properties). A Muslim converting infidels through proselytizing is Jihad (Jihad by word).
Jihad is any act (peaceful or violent) that helps Islam to expand its dominion.
We judge people by their actions or words. Unwittingly, we assume that if people doesn’t say something publicly (or to our face), say – an idea ‘abc’, people do not think ‘abc’.
I do not take a mike and shout everyday from my roof that Islam is fascist. But ‘Islam is fascist’ is on my mind and I do think about it.
Jihad and ultimate goal of Islam – i.e. to make Islam superior in this world or the whole world under Sharia – or Islam becoming dominant religion on this earth and ruling- is on every Muslim’s mind. This is folklore among Muslims in informal circles – (One Sikh girl mentioned here about her Muslim boyfriend boasting to his other Muslim friends about the fact that he got 3 Sikh girls on his hand.)
So, who is a moderate Muslim? Is the one donating money to Jihad but not risking his life a moderate? Is the one prodding his friend in Love Jihad, while he is not doing it, a moderate?
If they exist, what difference they make? Nil.
Take Pakistan: Is Pakistan completely extremist? or is it that there are moderate Muslims? If it is true, then what good it did to Hindus and Christians living in Pakistan, who are living like second class citizens? Did they make any difference to the fact that Hindus are exterminated from Pakistan? Did they make any difference with regard to Pakistan’s constitution condemning them as half humans? I can go on quoting these. But those who can not see my point from previous two will never see.
Finally, where do I stand on this?
Even when a guy said there are no moderate Muslims because silence is consent, I kept silent. Because for me this kind of topic is unwanted. It is for those who can not see the truth before their eyes.
My only job is to try opening eyes of Hindus to reality of Islam being fascist to the core. It can not even be reformed. I try to show as it is understood for past 1400 years and now. I do not do wishful thinking like Satyen or this Admin do. They may not realize the harm they do with their delusions, but it is their right to express their views.

Now it’s time for the Women in general and the educated Muslim women in particular to lead from the front. Spreading the information regarding the anti-women practices in Islam to the whole world is the key for the success to remove the atrocities afflicted on the Muslim women. Your words will be more reliable than any non-Muslims who will be termed as Islam bashers. Converting to other faiths is not the only solution but to reform Islam from within is the need of the hour. The Muslimas can do a lot. I suggest the following:
1. Muslimas should join various Women’s organisations at every levels
such as local, district, provincial/state, national and
international levels.
2. Join Human rights bodies at every levels as mentioned above.
3. Join Islamic bodies responsible for making decisions with respect
to Sharia laws. Make sure, every issues involving women must be decided by the arbitrators having 50% women arbitrators.
Make a list of key issues pertaining to Muslim women and take up
just 2-3 most imporatant ones at a time.
Spread similar suggestions to all the social networking sites to enlighten the women power.
All the educated people including Hindu, Muslims and Christians who don’t believe in these religious barriers and consider every human being as a family member, are with you.

Islam and the suffering of women
There are many things that go on in Islam regarding women that are barbaric. Untold suffering has been heaped upon women due to these practices. There seems to be no one in the world of Islam that is willing to speak out and bring an end to these practices. Imams are silent, the women’s movements of the world are silent, particularly women’s studies in the universities, and reform seems impossible given the secondary position of women in the Qur’an and the hadiths.
There are many practices that demean women and subject them to barbaric and evil conditions.
1. Female Genital Mutilations
Consider the following news story:
TUZ KHURMATU, Iraq – Sheelan Anwar Omer, a shy 7-year-old Kurdish girl, bounded into her neighbor’s house with an ear-to-ear smile, looking for the party her mother had promised.
There was no celebration. Instead, a local woman quickly locked a rusty red door behind Sheelan, who looked bewildered when her mother ordered the girl to remove her underpants. Sheelan began to whimper, then tremble, while the women pushed apart her legs and a midwife raised a stainless-steel razor blade in the air. “I do this in the name of Allah!” she intoned.
As the midwife sliced off part of Sheelan’s genitals, the girl let out a high-pitched wail heard throughout the neighborhood. As she carried the sobbing child back home, Sheelan’s mother smiled with pride.
“This is the practice of the Kurdish people for as long as anyone can remember,” said the mother, Aisha Hameed, 30, a housewife in this ethnically mixed town about 100 miles north of Baghdad. “We don’t know why we do it, but we will never stop because Islam and our elders require it.”
More than 60 percent of women in Kurdish areas of northern Iraq have been circumcised, according to a study conducted this year. In at least one Kurdish territory, 95 percent of women have undergone the practice, which human rights groups call female genital mutilation.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in her book, INFIDEL, describes her experience as a young female.
“In Somalia, like many countries across Africa and the Middle East, little girls are made “pure” by having their genitals cut out. There is no other way to describe this procedure, which typically occurs around the age of five. After the child’s clitoris and labia are carved out, scraped off, or, in more compassionate areas, merely cut or pricked, the whole area is often sewn up, so that a thick band of tissue forms a chastity belt made of the girl’s own scarred flesh. A small hole is carefully situated to permit a thin flow of pee. Only great force can tear the scar tissue wider, for sex.
“Female genital mutilation predates Islam. Not all Muslims do this, and a few of the peoples who do are not Islamic. But in Somalia, where virtually every girl is excised, the practice is always justified in the name of Islam. Uncircumcised girls may be possessed by devils, fall into vice and perdition, and becomes whores. Imams never discourage the practice: it keeps girls pure.
“Many girls die during or after their excision, from infections, Other complications cause enormous, more or less lifelong pain.” (New York: Free Press, 2007, p. 31)
There are testimonies of Muslim girls who are frightened to death of their wedding night when they are forced to have sex under these conditions. Not only is sex a problem, but delivering a child through these conditions is abnormal. One would think that Muslim men would rise up and condemn the practice for there are men who married women and could not enter the woman on their wedding night. This reflects poorly on a man’s image of himself.
I consulted a friend who is an ob-gyn doctor and asked his views on the implication of this mutilation. He wrote:
“I looked up Frank Netter’s drawings of the procedure (Netter is a well honored MD/medical artist who is famous for his drawings of anatomical and surgical subjects). Netter shows various degrees of mutilation involved with female “circumcision”. It may involve “only” a partial removal of the anterior labia minora and clitoral hood, to the total removal of the labia minora, partial removal of the labia majora and extirpation of the total clitoris. This is the same as we do for cancer of the vulva (called a simple vulvectomy). In both cases with “circumcision”, the labia are the sutured TOGETHER! (with vulvectomy we attempt to resuture residual anatomy to appropriate residual anatomy). The net results leaves a nearly impenetrable vulva…or what I would think an actually impenetrable vulva. The following are some possible/probable side effects:
1) Physical obstruction of the introitus may lead to a condition of hematocolpos and hematometria…the accumulation of menstrual blood in the vagina and endometrial cavity of the uterus which would cause(likely) sterility as well as endometriosis (a condition of small implants of endometrium in the lower abdominal cavity that causes pockets of blood in the abdomen and severe pain in the abdomen…and even potential death should the enlarging blood cysts rupture)
2) A misdirection of the urinary stream–the labia minora fundamentally direct or point the flow of urine. This side effect is worse than it sounds…it may cause the smell of urine on the person so effected.
3) Severe scarring of the vulva which would lead to a predisposition to severe tearing during childbirth. This (tearing) could lead to severe hemorrhage and the formation of huge hematomas of the vulva…I’ve seen them the size of a football and require several units of blood transfusion. As a corollary of this, scarring could cause dystocia (an increased disability, or even inability, to deliver.)
4) Infection at the time of the procedure or shortly thereafter…infection with attempted intercourse or any trauma that might lacerate the scar tissue.
5) Massive dyspareunia (pain with intercourse) due to the scar tissue. This would probably be a lifetime problem unless obviated by surgery. Normal sexual function would likely be impossible.
6) The psychological effects would be massive. It seems to certainly have the grotesque psychological side effects as childhood rape has, which often leads to a number of problems, such as drug and alcohol addiction (high correlation), antisocial behavioral disorders (moderate correlation) and remarkably promiscuous behavior, including prostitution (high correlation)
7) It has been my observation that many women who are self-described lesbians have had traumatic incidents analogous to this that are associated, in the victim’s opinion, with men.”
One has to ask about this practice in the minds of people. Did the Creator make a mistake in making females the way they are? Do Muslims feel the need to improve on what He did? Is this not an insult to the Creator? What does this do for the female in terms of sexual pleasure? It is not commanded in the Qur’an, so why not reject the practice? Why do imams not condemn the practice?
The story of Genesis 1-2 is that God created man and woman. No improvements were necessary. No barbaric operations were ordered. In fact the Hebrews were forbidden to cut the body. “You are the sons of the LORD your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead. (Dt. 14:1) In the New Testament we read: “And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. “ (I Thess. 5:23 ASV) The body, both male and female, is to be kept in its created state.
The lone exception is male circumcision which was the sign of Yahweh’s Covenant with Abraham. As such the foreskin was cut, but the organ was not mutilated. Nor does it impose a hardship on the man. This was commanded for the Jewish people only. The Qur’an does not command female cutting. If one attempted to justify the practice from the hadiths it must be remembered they are not “revelation.” Moreover, there are so many fraudulent hadiths that one cannot be sure about using them to justify an evil practice on women.
It is a horrible sin to mutilate little girls in the name of custom, Allah, religion, or tradition.
2. Wearing the burqa.
This is the most extreme form of covering for females. One of the most barbaric examples of this was in March 2002 in Mecca when fifteen girls were killed in a fire at their school. The Saudi Religious police would not allow the girls out of the building without the proper dress. They battled the police and the firemen who were trying to open the schools’s doors. Is this not an evil practice that required the girls to die rather than being seen without the burqa? What kind of value system is this? (Source)
Can you imagine as a man wearing a tent to cover your whole body and not exposing any part of your body to be viewed by others? Not only is it demeaning to women, it is also unhealthy.
“Muslim women who wear the burqa in Ireland are at increased risk of pelvic fractures during childbirth because of vitamin D deficiency due to a lack of sunlight, a consultant warns.
Babies born to women with vitamin D deficiency are also more prone to seizures in their first week of life, according to Dr Miriam Casey, of the Osteoporosis Unit in St James’s hospital in Dublin.
Casey said she was aware of cases involving pelvic fractures, and warned that these could become more frequent as Ireland’s Muslim population increased. “Ireland’s temperate climate doesn’t have the intense sunlight that keeps burqa-clad women from becoming vitamin D-deficient in their own countries,” she said.
Vitamin D helps the body to absorb calcium and is crucial for making bones strong. The greatest source is sunlight.
Casey said the fractures occur at sites of particular weakness which develop in under-mineralised pelvic bones. In these women’s babies, low calcium can cause “serious complications such as seizures, growth retardation, muscle weakness and fractures”.
“As a toddler, carrying the weight of the torso can force the development of a bow-legged appearance and a waddling gait,” she said. “Later, there can be rickets, which is caused by vitamin D deficiency, with swollen wrists and bones that fail to fuse in adolescence.”
Darker skins can produce as little as 1% of the vitamin D that fair skins produce. Moreover, studies have found that the rate of many diseases rises the further north one moves, leading researchers to suspect that vitamin D may play a greater role in health than previously thought. It seems that the Creator made us to be exposed to the sun for our health’s sake, but many Muslim cultures require a female to be covered and that is more important to Islam than health. It is irrational to think that only men will be excited by viewing women. Why do not the men cover themselves as required of the women? Women are not without passion. How would a man feel wearing a black tent that covers his entire body and his face covered so no one would recognize him? For more on this, go here and here.
3. Honor killings
No one knows the number of “honor killings” that occur each year. The estimates run into the thousands. Frequently the police do not investigate and bring charges against the murderer in Muslim cultures. Honor killings are primarily related to the females who may be suspected of having sex before marriage, flirting with someone, talking to a stranger, failing to serve a meal on time, rape by a relative, cousin, uncle, or brother. There is no limit to the reasons given for honor killings. One of the more notorious honor killings occurred in the Dallas, Texas area where two sisters were killed by their father because they were being too influenced by western culture and music. In many places records are not kept on these murders and that is one of the reasons statistics are not well documented. (*)
Ayaan Hirsi Ali pressed for an experiment in Holland where figures were not kept. In a time period between Oct. 2004 and May 2005 eleven Muslim girls were killed by their families in just two regions of the country. There are 25 such regions in Holland.
Shawbo Ali Rauf was a 19 year old Iraqi girl who was murdered by her own in-laws. Her crime was to have an unknown number on her mobile phone. Her “honour killing” is just one in a grotesque series emerging from Iraq, where activists speak of a “genocide” against women in the name of religion. (*)
In the latest such case, it was reported yesterday that a 17-year-old girl, Rand Abdel-Qader, was stabbed to death last month by her father for becoming infatuated with a British soldier serving in southern Iraq. In Basra alone, police acknowledge that 15 women a month are murdered for breaching Islamic dress codes. Campaigners insist it is a conservative figure. Violence against women is rampant, rising every day with the power of the militias. Beheadings, rapes, beatings, suicides through self-immolation, genital mutilation, trafficking and child abuse masquerading as marriage of girls as young as nine are all on the increase. (*)
A sixteen-year-old Palestinian girl became pregnant after being raped by her younger brother. Once her condition became known, her family encouraged her older brother to kill her to remove the blemish from their honor. Her brothers, the rapist and the murderer, were exonerated. The girl was blamed. “She made a mistake,” said one of her male cousins. “She had to pay for it.
Even more horrifically, a four-year-old Palestinian girl, raped by a man in his mid-twenties, was left by her family to bleed to death. They did this because they felt her misfortune would sully their honor. (*)
“European police report that Islamic honor killings are on the rise. In 2005, for instance, a review by British police of 22 domestic homicides led to 18 of the cases being reclassified as “murder in the name of so-called ‘honor.’” Polls routinely find that a disturbingly large percentage of Muslims – one in 10 according to a 2006 BBC poll – would condone the murder of someone seen to have disrespected their families honor.” (Frontpagemag, Jan.1, 2009)
The claim is that the female has brought shame to the family. The greater shame is that they have no shame for what they do to the women.
The Christian response to the issue of shame is that my identity is in Christ, not in my family. Jesus said, “God will bless you when others hate you and won’t have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man.” (Luke 6:22 CEV) Revenge is not something a follower of Christ can allow. Christians are told: “Dear friends, don’t try to get even. Let God take revenge. In the Scriptures the Lord says, “I am the one to take revenge and pay them back.” (Rom. 12:19) Moreover, “Don’t let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good.” (Rom. 12:21)
The Apostle Peter wrote to the Christians concerning Jesus, “Although he was abused, he never tried to get even. And when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he had faith in God, who judges fairly. Christ carried the burden of our sins. He was nailed to the cross, so that we would stop sinning and start living right. By his cuts and bruises you are healed. You had wandered away like sheep. Now you have returned to the one who is your shepherd and protector. (1 Peter 2:23-25)
As long as the “shame culture” exists there will be lots of innocent victims put to death. Medical examinations have revealed that innocent girls accused of immorality were still virgins, and the real evil was in the minds of the fathers, or brothers, or relatives. The principle of “innocent until proven guilty” doesn’t seem to operate in the minds of these people.
4. Wife beating
The practice of beating a wife is not new in many societies. It may come about because of jealousy, laziness, indifference, or distrust. There are lots of irrational excuses for this in many cultures. Even among Christians there are those who beat their wives.
There are no religious verses commanding a Christian to beat his wife. Most non-Muslims who beat their wives do not have any religious justification for it. There are Muslim men who do not beat their wives, however, the Muslim context is different. There is a religious directive for it. The Qur’an says, “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because God has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what God would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For God is Most High, great (above you all).” (Surah 4:34 Yusuf Ali’s trans.)
Pickthall uses the word “scourge them.” Six other translations of the Qur’an use the word “beat them.”
Obviously this is a command that gets a lot of attention both in and out of Islam. Inside are the defenders saying that it is such a mild beating as with a “toothbrush.” Those outside of Islam have seen the results of the beating of neighbors who have been bruised, battered, thrown against the walls of their apartments. Often nothing happens when the police arrive because the wives will not file charges. So it goes on and on.
Statistics are hard to come by for obvious reasons. “The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences has determined that over ninety percent of Pakistani wives have been struck, beaten, or abused sexually — for offenses on the order of cooking an unsatisfactory meal. Others were punished for failing to give birth to a male child. In Spring 2005, when the East African nation of Chad tried to institute a new family law that would outlaw wife beating, Muslim clerics led resistance to the measure as un-Islamic.”
Muslim leaders do affirm the view of the Qur’an and teach the idea of beating a disobedient wife.
On October 5, 2004, France expelled Algerian-born Imam Abdel Qader Bouziane for telling a French magazine that Muslim husbands may beat their wives. This follows the sentencing on January 14 of the Egyptian-born Sheik Muhammad Kamal Mustafa, the imam of the mosque of the Spanish city of Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, for publishing a book that explains that wife-beating is in accordance with Shariah law.
Sheik Yousuf Qaradhawi, one of the most influential clerics in Sunni Islam and head of the European Council for Fatwa and Research and the International Council of Muslim Clerics, has also advocated wife-beating on multiple occasions in his 1984 book “The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam,” and on his weekly Al Jazeera program, which is popular among the surging number of European Muslims who increasingly look to religious leaders from the Middle East for religious guidance. This is particularly true with the growth of viewers watching Arab TV stations, available on satellite TV in Europe, which frequently airs shows dedicated to teaching a husband how to beat his wife. There are probably many explanations why men do beat their wives. One may be that many marriages are arranged and neither person knows the other. If the marriage has a large age gap as in a 10 year old girl and a 40 year old man the marriage is doomed to have lots of problems. A recent story from Saudi Arabic tells of a girl who was 5 who appeared to be tested for marriage. The doctor denied the test and she could not get married. What companionship is there between two such spans of ages? What is the basis of love in an arranged marriage?
The lack of education for females is also a source of problems. The Taliban has been burning down schools, threatening people who send their girls to schools, and the end result is an enforced ignorance of the females. Can there be any preparation for marriage in ignorance?
There will be no change in this situation since the word from Allah and Mohammed is to beat the disobedient wives.
5. Rape
In a number of western countries, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, there have been a large increase in the rape of non-Muslim women some as young as a 13 year old Swedish girl gang raped by 5 Kurds. The victims in Australia were called “sluts” or “Aussie pigs.” A Lebanese Sheik Faiz Mohammed blamed the women themselves for wearing skimpy clothing which invites men to rape them. In Copenhagen, Islamic mufti Shahid Mehdi declared that women who did not wear a head scarf were asking to be raped.
What is the psychology behind all these rapes? (Someone has written that most of the men who rape had the name of Mohammed.) The answer lies in the example of Mohammed. Rape was permitted and encouraged by Mohammed. Rape is a part of jihad. It is a part of war. The women captured in battle were raped and the husbands humiliated.
Mohammed participated in this horror. After the battle of Khaybar the spoils were given out. One warrior, Dihya bin Khalifa requested of Mohammed that he be given a slave girl from the captives. He chose a woman name Safiyya bint Huyayy. Her husband had been captured, tortured and killed by the Muslims. Later when Mohammed saw her he told Dihya to take another girl from the captives. Mohammed freed her and married her upon her agreement to convert to Islam. That night she was dressed in a wedding dress and Mohammed consummated the marriage. What was it like to see your husband tortured, killed, and then forced into a marriage on the same day?
One of the problems discussing rape is that Muslims do not consider raping a non-Muslim as a sin or a problem. It is justified because Mohammed did it.
Rape is not only bad in the western countries where there can be punishment for the offenders when caught and tried, but in Muslim countries there is a different problem. If a woman makes charges at the police station that she has been raped, she must produce 4 male witnesses to justify her accusations. If she cannot produce these four witnesses, she is often charged with adultery or fornication and may be imprisoned herself. In Pakistan 75 percent or more of the women in prison are victims of rape. To report a rape may mean nothing more than a confession of guilt. Little is done to investigate the charges. Can you imagine the chagrin of a women who reports a rape at a police station to seek justice and to her dismay finds that she is put in jail for committing fornication or adultery?

These are a few problems for women in the Muslim culture. Unfortunately, there will be little change for improvement of the lives of half a billion women. Conditions vary from country to country, some worse than others, but none with real freedom and position.
When women cannot be allowed a real education there will be problems borne of ignorance whether in growing up, marriage, raising a family, being a wife, being a real companion, or whatever. Ignorance is not bliss. Women can make a phenomenal contribution to the rising of culture if they are allowed this freedom. Only when one can escape the influence of a seventh century culture does this happen
But one question remained unanswered that even though Islam is a barbaric relegion people from other faith are accepting it by judging and not by blind faith. Those people are much more intelligent well educated than you or the writer of this article for that matter. Yusuf Estet, Abdul Raheem Green, Cat Steven, Khalid Yasin, to name a few. This is enigmatic how can an educated person accept a religion which is against women. And how can women of other faith from around the world most enlightened most educated accept a religion which is against women…think about this.
Everybody should take every article with a pinch of salt. Apply your logic/reasoning and then accept it even with the article I have given link to. See other sources as well. I am with the truth, not for or against anybody. Of course, I need to see both sides of the coin as I am not afraid of hell fire nor I am desirous of the paradise as described in Quraan. Happiness and sorrow are only states of mind and even the Paradise may not necessarily beget happiness to a morbid mind. Muhammad may be a saintly person but he has to be a different from the one who has been described in Hadith/Quran in its present form. It needs to be corrected.
As far as Sita is concerned, if she was of 6 years, Ram was of similar ages 10-12 or so, definitely not 50+.

I am an insignificant creature of Allah/God. I only believe that if you surrender yourself to Allah without any middlemen and serve the Allah’s creation without any discriminatioonn of faith, gender etc. He/She will guide you as Allah is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and an ocean of compassion. Only Allah can guide what needs to be corrected. Only thing I know is that, Allah wouldn’t like to see any mal treatment to any of His/Her creation based on faith or gender etc.
May Allah enlighten you to right path of love and compassion for all and some day the humanity will thank you for what you did for them!
