    Hema,

We have seen many Hindu-Christian wedding working out well while there are others going through hell. It all depend on why type of catholic you are and what type of Hindu he and his family are. Read all these cases to learn more.

Yes, you are in love but somehow you have to make a decision like a businesswoman. Think clearly, logically, talk to all and decide what is right for you and then execute it without regret.

After marriage, do you have to go and live with his Hindu family as part of a joint family?
Did you talk to his parents? Have you been to his parents home?
Are your parents and priest okay with your marriage to a Hindu who will not convert, meaning you cannot have the church wedding?

Tell us why type of Catholic you are ….
    1) The one who is a casually Christian and visit church once a while but do believe in Jesus or
    2) Very religious Christian who goes to church every Sunday and follow the Bible as God’s words. Further believes that non-christians will not be ‘saved’.

Also tell us what type of Hindu he is:
    1) Like above, he is just a casual Hindu, visiting temple on holidays or
    2) Who will not tolerate a photo of Jesus or Cross in your married Hindu-Christian home.

Based on your answers, we will guide you further. Meantime, also read all recommended articles above. Best wishes.

      Hi Hema,
Just forget everything else and just concentrate on how much you love your man and how serious he is about you. Confirm his respect to your parents and extend all love and affection to his family. Forget the religions and get married to be happy ever after. No religion was God made. Humans made it and now you can discard it too. It’s the love and good relationship that’s very important. Just be two good humans. Teach the same to your children. Be happy and good luck.

      Hi,

If you are a real Christian believer you have to choose if you love your GOD JESUS more or the man whom you want to marry for how many years 10, 20, 50? Think about your eternal life after death. Our religion don`t accept others who don`t believe in the only one GOD JESUS.
      Regards
