      Hi Alta,
We have modified your name for your privacy.
How did you got married in 2016 and registered your marriage in India?
Is she a Muslim or Buddhist/atheist?
      Is she from Malaysia?
What is the issue with Malaysian agency? Explain us, thanks.

    Hi Asif,

We assume you are in Malaysia or surrounding. Assuming you are there, what is your legal residency status there? Where are you planning to settle after marriage?

    These are all possibilities:
    1) You bring her to India and marry by the Special Marriage Act 1954. No one converts and you get married. You settle in India
    2) She convert to Islam (but she already said she does not what to) and marry in Malaysia by Nikaah.
    3) You convert to Buddhism and change your name. You get married in Singapore or India and then return to Malaysia as Buddhist (or atheist) couple.

Let us know if any of this option look good to you and we can provide details.

If she does not want to convert, so you have to respect her wishes. Can you convert to Buddhism?

Problem is–Malaysia will not legally allow marriage of Muslim to non-Muslim. Read laws here.

Talk to your local mosque. However, it may sound exciting for you since she is willing to (fake) convert, but understand it could create major problems later in life. Your family will pressure her to be 100% Muslim that she already told you “she dont wnat to convert to islam.” If you are honest, ask her to view this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiWLGEKusIg
