i came to know about this forum through a friend of mine. i saw here many boys and girls are on the same page where i was three year ago. i met my husband during the summer camp and fall in love with him. it was typical hindu-muslim story. i had to convert so as to marry him. and yes islam only accept the nikah, not the special act. its been good so far , there will be some instances where you will uneasy but eventually everything will get settled. dong get blind in love, see if partner truely loves you or not and then decide. -Purnima

we do celebrate diwali, i visit my parents during festivals but its just that i dont pray to shiva as an idol.i do read Qura-e-sharif and follow many things. what i see in islam are the rules were made in different time period. may be during that time all the things mentioned might be correct , now time has changed and i follow those things which i feel should be followed. i dont support polygamy either my husband or in laws do. if my daughter want to marry a non muslim its ok with me, if the partner she choose loves her and support her. -Purnima

Idol worship is not mandatory in Hinduism there are many sect in Hinduism who are strictly against idol worship so if a Hindu don’t like to worship God through idols he or she can go to Arya Samaj or he/she can worship Nirakar Iswar(Nirguna Brahma).As lord Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita chapter 12 (bhakti Yoga) when Arjuna asked him ,
Which are considered to be more perfect,those who are always properly engaged in your devotional service or those who worship the impersonal Brahma the unmanifested?
The supreme personality of Godhead sri Krishna said: those who fix their minds on My personal form and always engaged in worshipping me with great and transcendental faith are considered by me to be most perfect.
But those who fully worship the unmanifested,that which lies beyond the perception of the senses the all pervading, inconceivable, unchanging, fixed and immovable-the impersonal conception of the Absolute Truth-by controlling the various senses and being equally disposed to everyone, such persons,engaged in the welfare of all,at last achieve me.

So called tolerant people are exhibiting their tolerance. If a girl change her religion then their religion and nation is under threat as per them, then better don’t be part of such weak religion and culture.
Fact: Hindus are naturally inclined towards Islam, most of today’s Muslims are convert from Hinduism because most of world Muslim comes form these five countries namely Indonesia, Pakistan,India, Bangladesh and Malaysia where people have changed from Hinduism to Islam, if Hindus are to change, their chance of picking Islam over other religion is most high no matter how much people try to prove that Islam and Hinduism has no common ground.

Yes I know REEMA CHHABRA she stops following ISLAM now she is against islam and Quran. She hates Quran. Personally I know her and she is working in a top MNC company in Hyderabad. Now she is not wearing veil or Bukha and living happily. She was running with bipolar depression and attempted suicide many times after marriage. She stops because Quran is based on Arabic language. Admin , i am using my old name because my family members are fine with the usage of it, its just on official documents my name has been changed. As i said i did undergo the conversion process so i am muslim now.

On “if my daughter want to marry a non muslim its ok with me” do you mean without converting the Hindu? Did you talk to your in-laws and community if okay for your daughter to marry a “Hindu”? How many such marriages do you know in your close family?

It is strictly prohibited to worship an Idol or Lord Krishna/Lord RAM or Lod SHiv Ji.
My point is if a person is nor reliable/believe in his/her own religion (specially in HINDU religion), then he/she cant be a person in other religion. They simply dont know the definition of religion, they mad for love and physical relationship.
