I want to be Baptized…

Sumanth says: on September 6, 2012 at 2:36 pm

Hi, I am Sumanth, 24, from a Hindu Brahmin family. It’s been two years since I came to love Jesus as my Lord, and I WANT TO GET BAPTIZED and commit my life to Him (of my own free will). Going forward, I would prefer to marry a Christian because I would like to spiritually grow together. I would like my kids to know Jesus (but they are free to choose). My parents have always encouraged me in matters of faith and will stand by my decision.

I would like to know what difficulties may arise if I get baptized –

1. Can I get baptized and still legally be a Hindu? I am proud of my Hindu roots and ancestry
2. What all possible problems can there be in marriage?
Will a Christian family be willing to give their daughter’s hand?
3. I am the only son – how do I perform my parents’ last rites? Do I bury them or cremate them? If I do Hindu Shraddh according to my parents’ wishes, I will have to bow to Hindu Gods, Priests, etc as part of the ceremony (note – I deeply respect Hinduism) …, but will God forgive me and other Christians understand my dilemma?

I want to go ahead and get baptized, but want to know what challenges may arise.

Admin says:

FORGET THE CHURCH, FOLLOW JESUS!

Sumanth,
You already love Jesus and trust him and follow him, so why you have to get baptized? What that ‘labeling’ has to do with your faith? Do you feel you will get any new benefit from baptizing, that you are not getting right now?

You have to understand that Christians and Muslims are proselytizing religions, and they will not rest till the whole world is converted to their own faiths. This labeling will help them for their vote power (view Gurumaa). After being a Christian, they will want you to be a member of their church and pay them hefty money so they could go and convert others.

Baptism is a legal document and after that you are no more a Hindu. Those priests will tell you that you could continue being a Hindu for a little while but ultimately they will not tolerate a Hindu any more (read Bible on Hindus?)

Like your parents who encouraged you to be a free spirited, why you want to get locked in to one practice? There are 36000 Christian denominations, have you explored at least a few? Why will you not explore those other churches and their type of Baptism; may be it is better for you. Have you read Koran? It is a beautiful message about one god; you must read it and talk to Muslim scholars before Baptizing. You should also read great messages of Lord Buddha; that is why many Western Christians are now converting to Buddhism. You should also read writings of Swami Vivekananda. Don’t take a hasty decision till you explored all other religions and options.

Follow Jesus not the church! Read great messages Jesus gave in chapters Matthew, Mark and Luke of the Bible. Don’t believe the hearsay (by Peter, Paul, Moses and your priest) in other chapters of the Bible.

  • Jesus was not dogmatic and never asked any one to be baptized.
  • He believed in freedom and was not exclusivist like today’s churches.
  • He first time included all gentiles to the God’s kingdom.
  • He also included all non-circumcised people, that LORD God said to Abrahim not to (Genesis 17:11).
  • Jesus said it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:12). The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27). Apparently Jesus was interested in your karma, not dogmas.
  • Further, Moses’ 2nd Commandment states LORD God is Jealous and He will punish if you pray to other gods (Exodus 20:4-5). Jesus changed this 2nd commandment to “love thy neighbors” (Matthew 22:39); further, he added, “There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:31), how beautiful!!
  • In general, the LORD God loved animal burned offering and animal sacrifices. To that Jesus clarified that “…to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the Whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” (Mark 12:33)
  • Jesus focused more on being a good person rather than criticizing “other” gods or following dogmas blindly. Such loving message will certainly bring peace and harmony amongst Hindu-Christian-Muslim-Sikh and others.
  • Jesus believed in love, not in jealously. If Jesus was in India today, probably he would not tell you not to bow to Krishna.

So, go ahead and have photos of Jesus and Krishna next to each other in your home and bow to both! If these ladies in this photo could happily do it, what is stopping you from it? Don’t follow the church and be baptized; instead believe in freedom.

Look, today the West is tired of churches. Churchgoers are dramatically reduced in Europe, why? Americans are writing “Do not follow Church, follow Jesus.” Even many Americans today are going one-step forward saying “We are all Hindus now!” As said before, many Americans are converting to Buddhism from Christianity. The World is going crazy for Hindu-Yoga. If the West is tired of Christian rigid rules, why are you going in the wrong direction?

Christian church crusaders have killed more number of people than all other religious groups combined (including Islam!). Read all atrocities churches have committed in Goa. Killing millions innocent people is not sin, but a child just born is carrying sin?

Sin, sin, sin. Your church will tell you that you are carrying the “original sin” and it can be removed only by baptism. The Adam may have committed sin with Eve, but tell them that you don’t believe in the biblical science; meaning 1) believe in Darwins’ law of evaluation, 2) don’t believe that the earth is the center of universe, 3) don’t believe that the earth was created in 2+4 days and 4) further believe Galileo was impressed by your churches for telling truth. Just tell them that you are pure and don’t need a baptism to remove any sin.

We hope you are a logical person. Do you believe that Mahatma Gandhiji will go to hell because he was not baptized? He respected Jesus and is that not enough? Is it not your karma, but a baptism label important for the God? A rapist and murder, who later baptized will go to heaven, while Gandhiji will go to hell? We hope you have brain to think critically.

You mentioned that “I will have to bow to Hindu Gods,… but will God forgive me”? This is a major problem with Abrahamic faiths. They are telling you that there is only one god and that is mine, like little kids, my Barbie doll is better than yours. Very silly. They will tell you that Hindus are idol-worshippers when their catholic churches are full of idols. Why (any) God will care if you bow to someone or something? God is not narrow minded? Why bowing to someone is a bigger sin than that of rapists, murders, robbers, and very mean spirited?

Please read Gandhi’s autobiography and it will wake you up. Gandhiji once said, “Your religion is like your mother. Just because your mother is less attractive than your friend’s mother you can’t abandon your mother and adopt a new one.”

The day you will get baptized, Gandhiji will cry because you abandon your own birth mother. You stated you are “proud of my Hindu roots and ancestry” but the day you gets baptized, your Hindu Brahmin ancestors are going to curse you and your parents. Your parents are absolutely God’s people who are allowing you to be a free spirited, why will you not learn good things from them and want to get stuck in church’s dogmas?

DO NOT GET trapped in a corner, you are a free spirited man and remain that way. Trust and believe in Jesus, Krishna, Allah, your parents and good friends. You have NOTHING TO GAIN by baptizing, except after baptism you will be locked into their fold. Remain Dharmic. Go tell them that you want to take 5 more years to read about all other religions and then will make a decision. Believe us, they will get frustrated and annoyed at you because you are delaying the conversion.

Give them this site location and ask them to reply here. They are all about the vote power and your money, think, think, think. They are out to divide India, they are out to add poison between Hindus, Muslims and Jesus lovers. We hope you are not a weak minded, best wishes.-Admin

Did Jesus started Christianity? No! Read this.

Christina says:

The Imperial State religion of Christianity, commonly known as “Christianity” was founded by Emperor Constantine I in 326 following the 1st Council of Nicaea (325). While technically extinct for nearly 800 years, the Christian Church was restored in the election of a leader consistent with the original doctrine and requirements from the time of Constantine in the election of Pope Francis on March 14th 2013.

The original Imperial documents of these proceedings were stolen from the Imperial Archives upon the conquest and destruction of Constantinople in 1096 by Roman Cult Leader Pope Urban II and taken back to Rome. The originals were reputed to still be in existence until the 14th Century. However, it is not known if these documents remain in possession at the Vatican Secret Archives. All subsequent documents published since the 12th Century have contained deliberate inclusions and falsities by the leaders of the Roman (Catholic) Cult and therefore cannot be considered authentic.

Contrary to the revisionist claims of christian churches that the concept of christians has existed since the time of Nero (1st Century), there is no credible independent evidence of the word being used prior to the universal unified religion created by Constantine via Nicaea in 325.

Nor does there exist one single piece of credible untampered original evidence to prove that Rome even had a functioning “christian” type sect at the time of the Council of Nicaea. In fact, the evidence is overwhelming that precisely at the time Constantine created christianity as the official religion of the Empire, Rome was undergoing a pagan revival on Vatican Hill as a major pagan shrine. -Christina

    Hi, Sumanth,
I know its a very late comment, but might be useful for many others, Jesus said in Luke 14:26 If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.” this does not not mean “hate” like we humans do, it means don’t love anything more than Jesus! Jesus also said in John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. so he is the truth and everything else is a lie.GOD the Father did his work by giving his son Jesus, Jesus did his work by dying for you on the cross, what are you going to do for Jesus? Jesus made it very clear it is not going to be easy to follow him, narrow is the way to heaven and broad is the way to hell and many go in that broad way, Christianity is not a religion, it’s your choice.Be a follower of Jesus, not Christians or Christianity. REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR!

    • July 23, 2017 9:10 pm

      Ganga,

Why you want your baby to be baptized if you are not? Have you read bible? Why not accept Jesus and keep the church (and baptism) out of picture?

Its a great misconception that we have to go to church and take baptism by water what does bible say (John 3:5)”Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” it clears that one must take baptism in order to enter Gods or Jesus’s kingdom ok now what is baptism lets see,(Matthew 3:13-17) “Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”15 Jesus replied,“Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.”Then John consented”. further (Mark 1:4, 5)“John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.” isn’t clear that baptism is not something that church does or something we do but it is what HE does when we repent our sins HE comes to our heart and we open our heart by accepting HIM as our SAVIOUR who saved us from our sin then we are already baptized. The baptism we take in the church is showing others that we are in CHRIST and HIS words are in us nothing more…rest read bible it is book of life. 🙂

Old testament is past.new testament brings Jesus Christ as saviour. He forgives the rapist fr he considers evil to make people sin And not the human himself for he created every man in his likeness and image.Jesus thought us how to overcome.
Regarding baptism : it s a seal that is marked on us stating we belong to Christ which cannot be erased by anyone. Through that seal Jesus can win over evil and save us from all trials and suffering

Hello Samanth, I know you’re pretty much confused. And you don’t want to break the trust lying in your faith. We all are told that a Christian should be baptised to be called so, many Christian denominations often believe that belonging to a specific Church family is must for salvation. As per Bible, in order to achieve salvation, you should consider Christ as your personal saviour who rose up from the dead for your sins, you should have a blind faith on Him, and yes you should love Him more than anything…THIS IS THE THEME OF CHRISTIANITY…So also comes your love towards Hinduism, If you want Jesus, you should prioritize Him above anything , everything and everyone like your parents, spouse, your good deeds, Hinduism, etc (should be priritized less than Jesus)…Well, for all those playing the rage on each other, I would like to tell them, that you have to love each other as yourself (As Jesus said)….in order to defend your religion, you are not allowed to hurt somebody’s else feelings…
If you love Jesus and don’t want to loose your religion because of that, than it would be better for you to follow Christ, attend Churches, and find out with which you feel comfortable with…

With faith alone, you can get eternal happiness…No need to convert into Christianity…Reflect Him in your works…

As far as Baptization is concerned, it is the sign of outward expression with inward change…you are burying your sins while rising again with Christ in a ‘NEW YOU’ Maybe you are repentant of some of your deeds, and you are seeking for Christ to get help…This is great idea, but be sure that, to get something you have to pay in return, its the rule…!!

It will be better for you to take time, doors of Church will always be open to you…and when you feel confident about your faith, when you will be ready to loose anything for Christ, than you will be called fit for Baptiasatiin…Till than, compromise your soul to be called as Christ follower, not Christian…

And you can stick to Hindu rituals, till you are a follower, but the day you become Christian, you will have to loose faith on HINDUISM, you can’t worship statues of Hindu deities nor can you recite Hindu Mantras when you are Christian….

Well inter-religion marriage is possible, but I can’t tell you about its outcome..it can be good or bad…based on your background, society, and anything you can count for….

Sumanth, you haven’t mentioned if you’re becoming Catholic/Orthodox/etc., but anyway:

    1. Can I get baptized and still legally be a Hindu? I am proud of my Hindu roots and ancestry.
    * If you’re so proud of it, don’t be a Christian – stay Hindu. Conversion to Christianity should take place only if you really believe the religion’s teachings. Legally, after Baptism you’ll be a Christian. You’ll get a certificate of Baptism and the details will be entered in the Church records.

    2. What all possible problems can there be in marriage?
Will a Christian family be willing to give their daughter’s hand?
    * If you’re both Christians (I’m assuming same denomination), why not? A Hindu family, otoh, will probably not feel the same about you…

    * It won’t be fair to your parents for you to perform their last rites if you’re Christian and they’re Hindu. Make all the arrangements, but get another male relative to do the actual rites (cremation, etc.). It’s the only compromise I can see between their Hindu beliefs and your Christian beliefs.

Seriously, has this admin never heard of Canon Law? Also, linking to conspiracy theorists doesn’t add to the reputation of this website. You’re better off reading the historians Tacitus and Flavius Josephus.

    Answers to your questions inline:

    1. Can I get baptized and still legally be a Hindu? I am proud of my Hindu roots and ancestry

Don’t get baptized. Follow Christianity as is. Why do you need a ceremony to follow Christianity? This way you can adopt the best practices which appeal to you of both religions.

    2. What all possible problems can there be in marriage?
Will a Christian family be willing to give their daughter’s hand?

Your better of marrying a girl who is broad minded enough to accept your mixed identity, than anyone who is purely hindu or purely christian. There are plenty out there in metro cities and abroad.

You SHOULD and HAVE TO perform the hindu last rites for your parents. Or get your brother/ close relative to perform a Shradh, if you cannot do it. You owe this to your parents.
They have brought you up, and every person deserves to have their choice of last rights. It’s a birth right. You shouldn’t let them lose out on that because you changed beliefs. And if your not “baptized” formally, i dont see how this is an issue.

    I hope this helped!

Sumanth, welcome Brother in Christ!!! To answer your questions about Baptism or your 3 questions you had.

    1. Can I get baptized and still legally be a Hindu? I am proud of my Hindu roots and ancestry?

I would say pray until God has given you a clear answer

    2. What all possible problems can there be in marriage?
Will a Christian family be willing to give their daughter’s hand?

If you are a Christian and she is a Christian why would they not be willing to give their daughter’s hand?

If your parents are like you say and will respect your decision then to stay in line with your new Christian beliefs you would have to bury them. Since you are no longer Hindu you can no longer partake in Hindu ways and traditions. You cannot worship other God(s).

      Hey,
      Regarding your last point,
would you like it if the following situation happened?
Given your a follower of religion X, if your future son adopted religion Y. When you died, he refused to cremate/perform a funeral according to religion X, but said that I am a follower of religion Y, I will perform your last rites as per religion Y, regardless of your last wish prior to death. Would you approve of this? No, right?

In my opinion, Sumanth following Christianity is fine, but I think he should perform his parents’ last rites the exact way they wanted it. Because its the right thing. Jesus/Krishna/Allah is for doing the right thing, and using self judgement at times.

    Namaskaar
Believing hat there is only one God, and this God is known by many names….be it Ram, krishna, Christ, Allah etc etc is the key to accepting all faiths.

If one believes that there is a Christian God….and there is a seperate Hindu God, as this young boy apparently does, is the wall that is impairing his vision and the cause of his dilemna. See all as the one God.

Also, please be careful about labelling anyone as Brahmin. This boy is not a Brahmin. He may have come from a family whose head was a Brahmin, but that does not make you a Brahmin. If your father was a Plumber, that does not imply that you are a Plumber. Too many people claim this title, especially when it suits the situation, even though their lives are maintained even below that of a “Sudra”. To be a Brahmin is to have intimate knowledge of the Supreme “Brahman”. To be a Kshatriya is indicative of a person who is fighting the tendencies of the “Blind Mind” (The Blind king Dritarashtra). Hence why it was stated that the Kshatriyas are the fighting/Ruling race.

To worship God in whatever form you choose, Krishna or Christ, does not require a conversion……conversion is a manmade ritual meant to severe ties with whatever belief system that you may have had previously. God wishes only your surrender and your love and devotion…..not neccessarily a set of rituals. Performing your duties to your parents, and your family is to show reverence to the family that helped to bring you into this world. If your family practices involve a set of rituals that mandates its use in times of death, then do it.
If the situation was reversed and the son is a Hindu and the parents Christian, then he can certainly perform Christian rituals to the satisfaction of his parents wishes. Hindus have no qualms with this, because it is a ritual to send the soul onto its place in the Astral World.

So sublime are your views that if a majority of the humanity adheres to such kind of religiosity , nobody will ever seek heaven, Jannat or Swarg. Gopalji, wish the world emulates your wonderful vision ! It is so foolish of humans that they pride themselves on being good Muslims, good Hindus, good Christians and so on and thus create a deliberate difference among themselves. Instead, had they given importance to humanity , the world have been a different place altogether. Had they pursued an assimilation of good literature of all religions, a “common religiosity” would have evolved ages before. What you are focussing on is this “common religiosity ” which does not need any baptism, Sunnat or the other kind of it. If people like you resolve to spread wisdom no end, it will definitely have an effect at last. If Europe can go from burning heretics to free expression, everything good can happen to the world. In a like manner, the world will wipe the slur of” terrorism “off it’s face and usher in “tolerance ” very soon, there is no doubt about that. Wherever there is freedom of expression and belief, a lot of people are becoming selective of religious stuff through application of wisdom rather than relying on a blind belief. It has been observed that Christians are becoming Hindus, Budhists, Muslims and vice versa. It is a welcome sign that the humanity is experimenting with variant faiths and also shedding off rigidity and bigotry. I am convinced that like magnet , everything relevant or essential in whatever religion will prevail and all dust fall down and a kind of a “World Religion ” will spring up in a near future, an assimilation of everything good of every religions.

    Namaskar Sumant Ji :
Your name is ‘Sumant’ – Do you know what does it mean ? Sumant is a name of “Prime Minister” of King Dasharath !! He accompanied Lord Ram !! That was the highest Respect Lord Ram and every family member had towards Prime Minister ‘Sumant’ !! Such a glory is there to your name !! and You want to shed that Glory ? Only due to someone who was “Presented” before you in very ‘nice’ manner. Its totally an Emotional Blackmailing !! As a Hindu, you should be a “Truth seeker” and have you ever tried to learn about Christianity ? Do You know their “Crusades” or “Inquisitions” ? Just learn about them from internet. Moreover, learn about the Truth — and the Truth is – Jesus NEVER existed !! Whatever the story of Jesus projected to we people is actually a story “COPIED” from Egyptian Mythology !! Its the story of Horus – who was supposed to be part of Egyptian Mythology some six Thousand years before !! Please read the section below very carefully —
How World was deceived and Cheated
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1CWBKRWIg0&feature=related
    http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread290806/pg1
I have just finished reading The Pagan Christ by Tom Harpur. There are too many similarities between Horus and Christ to reject the author’s claim that the story of Jesus Christ was plagiarised from much earlier Egyptian mythology.

Is this just a case of history repeating itself? Are we doing an Egyptian re run? If so, why?
Does the cult of Horus prove that Christianity is false?

Some parallels between Horus and Jesus Christ:

    1. Horus born of a virgin. Jesus born of a virgin.

    2. The foster father of Horus was Seb or Seph. Jesus was fostered by Joseph.

    3. Horus was of royal descent. Jesus was of royal descent.

    4. Horus birth accompanied by three solar deities [star gazers] who followed by the morning star of Sirius bearing gifts. Jesus birth accompanied by three wise men [Zoroastrian star gazers] who followed by a star “in the east” bearing gifts.

    5. The birth of Horus announced by angels. The birth of Jesus announced by angels.

    6. Herut tried to murder the infant Horus. Herod slaughtered every first born in an attempt to kill Jesus the forthcoming messiah.

    7. Horus is baptized at age 30 by Anup the Baptiser at a river. Jesus is baptized at age 30 by John the Baptist at a river.

    8. Horus resists temptation by the evil Sut [Sut was to be the precursor for the Hebrew Satan] on a high mountain. Jesus resists temptation by Satan on a high mountain.

    9. Horus had 12 followers. Jesus had 12 disciples.

    10. Horus performed miracles like healing the sick and walking on water. Jesus performed miracles like healing the sick and walking on water.

    11. Horus raised someone from the grave [his father Osiris] Jesus raised Lazarus [notice the name similarity] from the grave. Lazarus is short for Elasarus – the “us” on the end is romanized. Elasarus was derived from “El-Asar” which was the name given to Osiris.

    12. Horus was buried and resurrected in the city of Anu. The place Bethany mentioned in John was a derivative of the words “Bet” and “Anu” which translates “the house of Anu”. The ‘y’ on the end of bethany is interchangeable with the letter ‘u’.

    13. Horus was killed by crucifixtion. Jesus was crucified.

    14. Horus was accompanied by two thieves at the crucifixtion. Jesus was crucified with two thieves.

    15. Horus was buried in a tomb at Anu. Jesus was buried in a tomb located in Bethany [Bet-Anu].

    16. Horus was resurrected after 3 days. Jesus was “said” to resurrected after over a period of three days.

    17. The resurrection of Horus was announced by three women. The resurrection of Jesus was announced by three women.

    18. Horus was given the titel KRST which means “anointed one” Jesus was given the title Christ [Christos] meaning “anointed one”

Religion is the subtlest of all that has been ever said on earth but if you go deep delving on different aspects existing on this earth, you will be bewildered no end that such kind of subtleness is not something that has been mischievously weaved into our existence, rather it stemmed from an essentiality of the prevailing scenario of a particular time. In science, a man is free to reveal everything as it is , stark naked as science has nothing to do with evolution, preservation and restoration of morality, ethics and social behavior. Nonetheless, it is free to scrutinize them and reveal the truth to the humanity, whether the results are ethical or otherwise. Religion acts differently because takes on itself the responsibility of maintaining an equilibrium of a practical sphere of life vis a vis more complex mental realm. So it is but apparent that the truths revealed by science and the truths revealed by religion will always vary with each other. Science cannot be forced to act like religion and vice versa. We see that an actor and the real man who is acting both are different men. While an actor is o.k. In revealing all to the audience, the real man is not. Why is it so ? It is because it is the requirement of audience and it is the wisest thing to do. Like manner, if we assumed that Krishna, Christ and Horace might not have been real persons and were the imaginary personalities and intentional creations of some shrewd authors, the important thing is what is it that makes their worth and relevance to the world. It is a fact that these personalities have left an envious positive impact upon the human minds and has done a tremendous job in maintaining sanity of human beings. Some of the stuff attributed to them might be distasteful to some keen minds but their significant roles in moulding the minds of human minds in a positive manner could not be ignored altogether. It is like parents telling stories to their kids, the stories may, sometimes, be utterly funny and vague but to the parents, impact of the stories on their kid is more important. If parents insist on telling only real life stories and abstain from telling other fictitious ones, can this approach be called a sane one ? Both real life stories and fictitious ones are fruitful for over all enhancement of a child. Can the rationalists ignore this altogether ? I think, this needs further scrutiny and research. To me, science is like real life stories and religion is like fictitious stories and both are correct in their own ways. Also, the tendency of proving one’s own religion as the supreme and the only truth is a sheer childish assumption. Unless one is sure of the reasons, necessities, vagaries and situations, a fair assessment cannot be made at all. However, we must discard the tendency of blind belief and should instead adopt pursuing application of mind while savoring the religious and atheist theories. We should not abstain from a persistent questing to find out reality of all assumptions. Notwithstanding my view, I enjoyed reading a comparative study put up by Rajesh Patil and appreciate his spirit of enquiry.

I think you hit the nail right on the head. “Become a Truth seeker”. This world is like an onion, you have to keep peeling off layer after layer of deception. And the truth of this world can be mind blowing. But never rely on hearsay or conjecture. Before you make any kind of statement or decision regarding your beliefs you have to ask yourself, “have i really done my due diligence, and what do i really know, have i verified anything from many different sources, or am i choosing to believe something i overheard because i just like it. I believe anyone who really does their homework and research, and is truly searching for a relationship with the lord, will inevitably discover the Bhagavad Gita

    Sumanth Ji;
What a grave mistake? So you are ready to throw you complete ancestral heritage, cut connection to your Brahmarishi ancestors, disappoint your parents and last but not the least leave a rational system of thought for some revealed religion that only survises by advertisement and scheming.

There are only People of desert in Arabia that have religion, a religion. No one else have created an artificial religion. India does not, China does not nor do African nor did pre-Christian Europe. Whty os it that only people of the Arbdesert have this miserable notion called religion.
    Bible says:
The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

Jesus also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to go to heaven: “For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” (Matthew 19:12 ASV) I don’t know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally tells all men to cut off their privates.
And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the Old Testament are no longer in effect, perhaps you should read where Jesus makes it perfectly clear: “It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” (Luke 16:17 NAB) There are many more quotes on this topic at my “Do Not Ignore the Old Testament” web page.

In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

    Rape In The Bible

Rape is one of the most heinous crimes imaginable. Yet few people know that the Bible often condones and even approves of rape. How anyone can get their moral guidance from a book that allows rape escapes me. Perhaps they have been lied to about the Bible and carefully detoured around all the nasty stuff in the Bible.

So grab your Bibles and follow along as I show you all the nasty rapes that your priests and preachers don’t want to tell you about. Note that in many places in the Bible there are references to “taking a wife”. Don’t be fooled into thinking that these were voluntary marriages. This first quote clearly shows that murder and force were used to “take” these wives.

    1) Murder, rape, and pillage at Jabesh-gilead (Judges 21:10-24 NLT)

So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children. “This is what you are to do,” they said. “Completely destroy all the males and every woman who is not a virgin.” Among the residents of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan.

The Israelite assembly sent a peace delegation to the little remnant of Benjamin who were living at the rock of Rimmon. Then the men of Benjamin returned to their homes, and the four hundred women of Jabesh-gilead who were spared were given to them as wives. But there were not enough women for all of them. The people felt sorry for Benjamin because the LORD had left this gap in the tribes of Israel. So the Israelite leaders asked, “How can we find wives for the few who remain, since all the women of the tribe of Benjamin are dead? There must be heirs for the survivors so that an entire tribe of Israel will not be lost forever. But we cannot give them our own daughters in marriage because we have sworn with a solemn oath that anyone who does this will fall under God’s curse.”

Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, “Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, ‘Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn’t find enough wives for them when we destroyed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.’” So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them. So the assembly of Israel departed by tribes and families, and they returned to their own homes.

Obviously these women were repeatedly raped. These sick bastards killed and raped an entire town and then wanted more virgins, so they hid beside the road to kidnap and rape some more. How can anyone see this as anything but evil?

    2) Murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites (Numbers 31:7-18 NLT)

They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. “Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. “These are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD’s people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

Clearly Moses and God approves of rape of virgins.

    3) More Murder Rape and Pillage (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.

What kind of God approves of murder, rape, and slavery?

    4) Laws of Rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker? Answer: God.

    5) Death to the Rape Victim (Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB)

If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.

It is clear that God doesn’t give a damn about the rape victim. He is only concerned about the violation of another mans “property”.

    6) David’s Punishment – Polygamy, Rape, Baby Killing, and God’s “Forgiveness” (2 Samuel 12:11-14 NAB)

Thus says the Lord: ‘I will bring evil upon you out of your own house. I will take your wives [plural] while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor. He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight. You have done this deed in secret, but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.’

Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan answered David: “The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die.” [The child dies seven days later.]

This has got to be one of the sickest quotes of the Bible. God himself brings the completely innocent rape victims to the rapist. What kind of pathetic loser would do something so evil? And then he kills a child! This is sick, really sick!

    7) Rape of Female Captives (Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NAB)

“When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive’s garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion.”

Once again God approves of forcible rape.

Rape and the Spoils of War (Judges 5:30 NAB)

They must be dividing the spoils they took: there must be a damsel or two for each man, Spoils of dyed cloth as Sisera’s spoil, an ornate shawl or two for me in the spoil. (Judges 5:30 NAB)

    9) Sex Slaves (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

    10) God Assists Rape and Plunder (Zechariah 14:1-2 NAB)

Lo, a day shall come for the Lord when the spoils shall be divided in your midst. And I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle: the city shall be taken, houses plundered, women ravished; half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be removed from the city. (Zechariah 14:1-2 NAB)

Are you true lover of God, then
If you are a hindu, understand Bhagavadgeeta and then try to understand Bible,Khuran.
If you are born as a christian, first understand Bible and then remaining two.
If you are a Muslim first understand Khuran properly, then understand Bible and Bhagavadgeeta. There is no need to convert religion. God knows everything, he better places us. In the name of God, religion conversion is a big big… SIN.
