Considering there are 36,000 denominations of Christianity (similar true for all religions), different people call God by different names, people pray God in many times exactly opposite to others’ way, religious scriptures are contrasting (like Christians think God could have Son while Koran says God to have a Son is a monstrous false hood; Hindus think God could have full family), millions killed in the name of God and interfaith lovers are getting hard times in the name of God,…….. is there ONE GOD?, MANY GODS? or there is NOTHING LIKE GOD?

I’ll tell you what Marthomites are all about. They are an exclusive club that flatter themselves all the time. Forget about inter religion, they have the same treatment towards other Christians like Catholics, Jacobite and Orthodox. They are ok to marry a CSI, to be specific a Syrian CSI christian but definitely not other Syrian Christians. Their faith is similar to Pentacostals and other protestant churches with only superficial differences. They criticize Pentecostals all the time but cannot point out any core differences their unda sabha has with Pentecostals.
They call themselves Syrian Christians but they are more Anglican than Syrian. The last visit from the Archbishop of Canterbury had many Marthoma achans cutting the service short and running in desperation to kiss the bishops hand. They always complain how boring the Orthodox/Jacobite or Catholic service is because there isn’t any choir in their churches that can sing Malayalam songs with British accent. I found them to be the most racist of all the Christians I’ve met. Their hatred for any Christians who are not Syrians is abhorring. Calling them fishermen folks or species with low level of intellect etc.
Marthomites are a exclusive club having only CSI(syrian) and CNI(name sake) as their members. They have reaped the benefits of accepting the money and faith of the Anglican protestant missionaries, which makes them nothing more than another protestant church with Anglican interpretation of the Chritianity and Bible. They have literal understanding of Bible and teachings of Christ. For them idol means only a statue, as thats what the dictionary says.
I am not sure what happened to your marriage. If you love the girl so much nothing should stop your way. If anyone is saying that they know they are going to heaven because they belong to a particular group of Christianity then they are fooling themselves.
Forget about heaven and hell. Try to be good human being first. Quoting scriptures and claiming to be following them ain’t going to guarantee a place in heaven. -George

1. It is a central tenet of Islam that God wrote every word of the Quran. In order to be the divine timeless word of God – every word of the Quran must be Moral Perfection. If just one word of the Quran is immoral imperfection – just one word of violence, murder, hate, terror, torture, inequality of women, inequality of races, sex with children, rape, slavery etc then not only is the Quran not the divine, timeless word of God but Islam is not the true religion of God but a fraudulent, bogus ideology masquerading as a religion.
2. To be a prophet of God, Muhammad cannot be a criminal.
3. Sharia Law purports to be the divine constitution of God. To be the divine constitution of God every teaching of Sharia must be Moral Perfection. If only one teaching of Sharia is immoral imperfection then not only is Sharia Law not the divine constitution of God but Islam is totally bogus – a sham and a fraud.
