This is a stupid mentality. I am in a relationship with an Iranian Shia lady and we have had a civil wedding. She does attend church services with me and we are also planning a church wedding soon. She is very happy to be free of her Shia imposed restrictions in Iran and has her wings in India. -Ram

I am an Indian Christian and do hold a foreign citizenship too apart from my status as an OCI. Also I am an ordained Reverend of the Protestant Church. If we have children then obviously they will be raised as true Christians. As for my wife returning to Iran, she does an annual visit back to meet her family members. She has not declared to the Iranian authorities that she is married to a Christian. Only her family members know that and have approved our union. I have also managed to get a few other friends of my wife married overseas to Christians and they too are living happily in their new countries. Would love to receive any queries.-Ram

You have raised a few valid questions.
Firstly, my wife does visit Iran every year to be with her family members there.
I too do go with her but at the airport pretend not to know each other. It is only at her parents home that we all meet.
If we ever have kids then most probably any visits to Iran would be done separately. I will have to go alone with the children and she will have to come on another flight. As the children’s passports will have my name as their father, visiting Iran as a tourist would not be a problem.
But all visits will be short ones no more that a month or two.
As for the Koran and what it says, I will not say anything about it because my wife herself does not believe in the Koran. She loves her Persian identity and literally curses the Arabs who had invaded her country, destroyed their culture and imposed their language, rules and religion. She hates even Arabic so she hates to even read the Koran.
As a Reverend, I admire her bold stand. Hence questions like apostasy, what the Koran says, etc does not arise in our lives together.
But yes, for her practising Shia friends whom I have relocated elsewhere, such questions did come up but as they had converted to Christianity, been enlightened and are born again Christians and having ceased being Shia Muslims, all such questions made no sense to them.
As a preacher I will even state that the Koran is nothing but an attempt to Copy the Bible with lots of changes to disguise it as a holy book of Muslims.
The basic problem about Muslim belief is that God cannot be 3 and God does not beget.
I will put it simply.
God creates so God is a Father.
As God can create, whatever He creates is His Son.
Since we cannot see God in person, we can only feel the presence of God and therefore this presence is the Holy Spirit.
This is the concept of 3 in 1 God.
God is ONE. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Those who believe this are also children of God.
My wife knows this truth and those who know this truth have been set free from all bondages including the bondage of Islam.
We do not believe in the practises of Muslims. We both try to convert Muslims to christians. There us no room for any Muslim practises or beliefs in a Christian household which totally negates the question of raising children with both faiths. Our children, when we have them will be full blooded Christians.
Lastly my name Ram, is the name I was given by my Hindu Brahmin parents.
I continue to use this name to remind people of my origins in the same way my wife continues to use her Maiden Persian name. Names do not belong to any faith.
Names were there long before any faith and changing names to reflect any particular faith is absurd.

Who are Muslims? Ask your wife if Shia are Muslims? We learn from Cookiee that “there is a sect of people who call themselves as shia and say they are Muslims inspite of going against Quran..but I(and many other people) don’t consider shia as Muslims..” Are Ahamadiyas, Sufis, Mujahiddins Muslims? Are only Wahhabi Sunni only Muslims? Have you converted any Sunni?

Legality: Can you visit Iran as a married person? We learned that it is impossible. What if some day, your wife wishes to go her home and spend few years there with her kids (and you)? Explain us legality you visiting Iran.
Apostasy: Is/was she a Muslim? Does she believe in the Koran, Muhammad and the Judgment Day? If she accepts Jesus as a Son of Allah, is that not apostasy as per Islam?

First point – The name of the prophet muhammad is mentioned only four times, whereas the Name Of Jesus is mentioned 25 times. Now explain me why does the quran gives more preference for Jesus rather than prophet muhammad.
Second point – the prophet muhammad’s mother isnt mentioned in the holy quran, Mary The Mother Of Our Lord Jesus Christ is mentioned in the Quran as ”Mariam The Mother Of Jesus” holy quran chapter 3, the name of this chapter is ” Family Of Mariam”, holy quran chapter 19 is ”Mariam”. holy quran chapter 3 verses 34 onwards says ” Mariam was born without original sin and she never committed any sin in her life, she was ever virgin.
quran chapter 50 verses 23 says that Mariam went into heaven with her physical body…..even the Assumption is written in the quran.
Now coming back to Jesus chapter 3 verses 45 to 55 there are many points which the quran makes about Jesus
(1) Kalimatullah which means that Jesus is the Word Of God
(2) Ruhulla which means that Jesus is the Spirit Of God
(3) Isa Masih which means Jesus Christ
So quran gives the most beautiful names for Jesus and attests that Jesus Christ Is The Word and Spirit Of God.
(4) Jesus spoke when He was 2 days old
(5) Jesus created a live bird with mud, Jesus formed and shaped the mud into a bird and then breathed into it, it became a live bird.
(6) quran says that Jesus cured a man born blind
(7) Jesus cured a man with leprosy
(8) Jesus gave life to dead people
(9) Jesus went to heaven, Jesus is still alive and Jesus will come again
According to the quran prophet muhammad is not the word of God, not the spirit of God and didnt perform miracles that Jesus Christ did and prophet muhammad is dead and he will not come back.
quran clearly states that Jesus Christ is alive and prophet muhammad is no more.
quran chapter 10 verse 94 says this ”If you have any doubt in this quran which I give to you, go and read the Bible or ask the people, those who read the Bible”
